She Deserves This

She loves pink, says the sparkling pink Christmas tree lingering in the corner She lives a chaotic, filled life, with no time to spare, says the laundry sprawled all over the floor She is working on finding God, and crafting a loving relationship with him, says the Bible on her nightstand She loves and dedicates herself to water-polo, says the bright yellow ball resting by her pillow She's someone who needs love, says the affirmations calling to her from her mirror YOU are beautiful, YOU are loved, YOU deserve this. Words litter her mirror, screaming back at her, but all her eyes can see is the number on the scale She is surrounded by love, says the pictures on everything in her room She just can't see it yet What to do with all that love, but to surround herself with it, hoping one day it’ll reach her That one day she will see that SHE is beautiful, SHE is loved, SHE deserves this.
