Never Knew I Needed You

La...la..
yea..yea..

Far as long as I can remember,
you were always with me through December,
Has I walk the lonely roads of November,
I can know longer remember,
our coffee morning conversations,
our dreams, our obsessions,
they're all a blur to me now,
grief as finally won.

Never knew I needed you,
never knew I couldn't cope without you,
has the days get shorter,
the nights get longer,
the darkness stays a while longer,
I sit and wonder,
if you knew,
I needed you,
never knew I needed you.

I remember laying in my bed,
with my phone in hand,
Pillow under my head,
as I listened to my favourite band,
before you would buzz,
a hello beautiful or a hey hun,
Those days, there gone,
no longer available to me,
I now listen to music alone.

Never knew I needed you,
never knew I couldn't cope without you,
has the days get shorter,
the nights get longer,
the darkness stays a while longer,
I sit and wonder,
if you knew,
I needed you,
i never knew i needed you,
baby I need you.

Has the days get shorter,
the nights get longer,
the darkness stays a while longer,

I needed you,
I never knew I needed you.

as you stay up above,
I'm sending you all my love,
I needed you, to need me too,
don't forget the day you left,
you left your heart behind,
with tears she tries to hide,
with the pain she locks inside,
all because you said goodbye,

Never knew I needed you,
I never knew I needed you,
baby I need you,
needed you,
la la la,
oh I needed you,

Dead End Jobs

Dead end jobs,
We all got those,
The ones that hurt your feet
And the bottom of your souls,
Customers complain ***** and moan,
For items that have been long gone,
Get hot headed when their sizes are not in,
We have to stand and hold in our screams,
Keep our cool, when really we just want to say,
Hey why don't you walk in my shoes If it just for a day,
Just for a while maybe you'll see,
We got more problems then just your sizes,
Come on jump in my shoes, I be happy to do it for you,
To feel a day with no pain,
Maybe to smile truly stunning, then this faked smile,
So before you moan about all the silly stuff,
Take a look at the staff,
Some are hiding most pain,
In shed of moaning why don't you say,
Hey are you okay.

Can'T Fight Fate

This story all started one fateful day
My homie named Zack was just tryin to get paid
Ran into a friend asked him, "want to get high?"
From then he was hooked on his very first line
Money started coming in, new whips new fits
He ran the dope game like he had a pair of new kicks
Things were going good better than he imagined
But it never lasts, that's when things start crashin
He got a little weight from a mutual acquaintance
Little did he know this dude was packin for his payments
Zack got burnt on a deal that went south
He's runnin out of options tryin to pay back the amount
Now he's on the fly left town for a while
Came back ballin thinkin he was back in style
Thought he was free and clear, that's what he was hopin
That round licked off, he should've slept with ONE EYE OPEN!
You...never know...when death is gonna come your way
You...could be a young man...or you could be old and grey
Can't...fight fate...wanna play this game there's a price to pay
Sleep with ONE EYE OPEN...cause for some tomorrow never came
Mother named Davina had a son named Joseph
He's her pride and joy but lived a life not spoken
Only 13 with his whole life to live
Made a few mistakes but nothing they couldn't forgive
He started on his hustle, he was well respected
The game always brings pain when you least expect it
Started skipping school, grades fell, friends lost
The life of the party comes at a great cost
Then he met a girl, who made him try to change
But she was no good, she started playing games
Joe feeds off the lies, and brings the lies home
He became a stranger his family didn't know
Thought he was invincible until she broke his heart
He slipped into the shadows, his whole life fell apart
His mom found him hanging from the ceiling, neck broken
She's wishin that she would've slept with ONE EYE OPEN!
You...never know...when death is gonna come your way
You...could be a young man...or you could be old and grey
Can't...fight fate...wanna play this game there's a price to pay
Sleep with ONE EYE OPEN...cause for some tomorrow never came

A Place Called Home

There's a place that I call home,
it's where all my memories Rome,
the door frame even has nooks,
from where my mum watched us grow,
over the years and I can't believe,
I'm still the same height has I was when I was 13,
I no longer live with my mum for I have my own home,
but really there's no place like home.

In Your Silence

It's hard I know for sure.
But find your inner strength,
And stand tall, you are beauitful,
Speck out in your silence,
Don't hind the brushes on your skin,
Your a warrior to this battle ground,
Your fighting in
Fight for your rights to speck,
Ink your skin with the words surviver, not vitum,

Your scars scream,
I know mine do,
But never suffer alone in your silence,
Your more likely to feel doomed alone in your room,
Don't let there words district your thinking,
Because emotional abuse,
Affects you too,
When they tell you ,
You can't sing or be anything,
Sing these words over and over,

I will not fall to my knees,
I will not let these tears mark my skin,
You may hurt me psychology and emotionally,
But I will not give in,
I will fight back again,
And just you wait,
Because I'm stronger then I was before,

Put your hands high in the sky,
If you have been affected by silence,
If you know someone who you think is going through silence,
It's not time to hide your shame your not to blame,
You didn't diserver it, or make the person do it,
If the person loves you they would not hurt you.
Open the eyes once blacked by the fists of toture.
Because one in five woman. Die at the hands of a lover. That is every 30 minutes of a passing hour.
So stand tall do not cower.

I haven't been through silence but I have known someone who has.

Screaming In the Dark

Screaming inside myself,
I no longer want to deal with the pain,
I have forgotten who I am,
What was my purposs on this earth,
Was it to live a life time of pain, shame,

I'm screaming in the dark,
Has my life falls apart,
Screaming at myself,
For I wasn't strong enough,
To stay on my life's path,

My refection Is looking back at me,
Who is she, I don't remember,
I no longer see the happiness in her eyes,
I only see the tears she cries,
She sad and broken down,

I'm screaming in the dark,
Has my life falls apart,
Screaming at myself,
For I wasn't strong enough,
To stay on my life's path,

I have locked my self away,
Away from all the pain,
My eyes show no life,
All my hopes vanish in the dark,
All my dreams disabled by the dark.

I'm screaming in the dark,
Has my life falls apart,
Screaming at myself,
For I wasn't strong enough,
To stay on my life's path,

Forbidden Love

Boy it's so hard, to sit here and be your friend,
Watching you laugh and flirt, oh how that hurts my heart,
MY feelings have grown over a short time, boy I just want you to be mine,
But I'm sat back in this friend zone.
our forbidden love, it's like the forbidden fruit, But boy you make my heart sing tunes, oh the tunes I'm feeling, I can always look but baby I can never touch,
You’re my forbidden fruit, so our love will always, be our forbidden love, oh... Forbidden love...
The friend zone it's quite dear, I sit here and the rhyme is gone out of my heart,
My tunes are turning blue, the melody has turned sad and slow,
Please reach out your hand, and take me back out of this friend zone.
Baby oh... I need the rhyme back, oh please hold me and bring it all back.
I don't see why we have to hind, our love inside, I would move mountains to be by your side, I will dry up rivers not to see you cry, I long to be the strength you need, so take my hand, don't let it fall by your side, pick up your hand baby, come save my life.
Our forbidden love . . . it's like the forbidden fruit baby . . . But boy you make this heart of mine sing... The tunes it's singing, only if you can hear it... oh hear it, it's... calling for you. Baby, only for you, my forbidden fruit,
Our forbidden love....

In My Bags of Magic Beans

Magic Beans come in all sorts of colours and favors,
Some are sour,
 some are sweet,
some are the ones you do not eat,
In my bag of magic beans,

Drip your hand in,
see what color you discover,

The colour red,
Will embed thoughts like thread to a sewing machine,
And sometimes instead bring back memories of the dead.

Then green this bean can make you envy appear obscene,
unclean.

This blue bean will help you find your field of view,
which would make you tried and true,

Here if your lucky to get a yellow,
You will appear in fields of blooming daisys of yellow,
where you will meet and say hello to a old fellow,
to bellow in the mellows of yellow,

If your hand drips in deep,
you might just get pink,
Pink will have a affect that will make your lips - sync with another will help you discover your missing other,

Black is a darkness bean,
it can bring on flash backs of your pass,
can make you have an anxiety attack,
will make you wanna fight back all because this bean is black,

This bean is brown,
some might say this bean has the power to break you down,
make you frown,

You be very pleased with the bean of white,
This bean will make you polite,
bring to you, you're guiding light,
even give you second sight,
in its sweetness light,

The transparent bean,
Can make you feel absent like your soul is souring in the sky,

Last we have purple,
This bean can be found to be hurtful,
For it very verbal, for it can affect your internal surface purpose,
for you stand in this universe.

I Knew You Would Break My Heart

I knew you would break my heart,
the magic we both felt,
when our hands touched,
the supernatural connection,
I hope you felt the electrical thrill too,
the delightful sensation overwhelmed my heart,
it's sparked an emotion in me,
has you captivating stole my heart,
 like a mysterious voodoo ritual,
the attachment was exquisitely moving,
breath taking attraction,
 my instincts jumped into action,
the charismatic charm concern my heart,
I knew one day you would break my heart,
witchcraft tricks will not fix this encrypted heart,
you’re the only one that passed,
 you unravel your heart,
 you found the special key,
 to unlock and released me,

Davina Claire

As the cool night crept in
And only the sound of crickets chirping could be heard,
A sedulous young witch studied the spell
That would supposedly bring back her loved one.

Time and time again she had failed
Missing the key ingredient- a paragon diamond,
Or perhaps she also needed a dark object to channel
She simply wasn't skilled enough to cast the complex spell.

In my possession lay a paragon diamond the size of the sun
On my shoulders lay a thousand years of darkness
If only she would realize who the real enemy was,
She could bring her wayward sister home again.

On the Winds To Forever

You took off in the wind,
You floated on the breeze,
As the trees lost their leafs,
Gently they flooded down,
Falling from the trees to the ground,

The rash of wind,
Touched my hair,
Like gentle fingers,
And I knew you was there,
I imagine you there,
On the winds to forever,
The gentle breeze,
Brushed my cheek,
Making my tears leak,
Then I knew you couldn't stay,
On the winds to forever,

The smoothest downwind stroked my hand,
And I knew that you was leaving,
Because you let go of my hand,
On the winds to forever,
As the sunlight beamed through the clouds,
There you stood, a little transparent but so sad,
My legs took flight as they run towards you,
Before you could go,
But you welcomed me as I stood in front of you,
The wind rotated me as your arms came to embrace me,
My hair floated in the rotating wind,
My lips froze as the gentle wind was cold,
Like the first frost when morning broke,
When you pressed your lips against mine,
This was your way of saying goodbye,
Tears embrace my cheeks with our final kiss,
I will forever miss,
My dearest friend,
Float on your winds to forever,

My Muse

My Muse
he came to me in body form,
his presents was unknown,
to gift to me his creativity,
of verse, knowledge and love,
he became my one true focus,

my muse would often visit in my time of need,
he would often say,
to cry it was just me releasing the sad,
of built up emotions all humans had,
that tears wasn't my weakness,
it was what made me strong,
the knowledge of feelings,
in this created world,
was not wrong.

Being One With Earth

A little young Indian girl met a white man,
He asked her questions about the earth,
The little Indian sat on the earth and place her hands down,
She asked the white man to do the same,
She asked him what do you feel.
The white man told her i feel nothing for it was just earth,
The little Indian girl then started to say,
To feel the earth you have to be open to feel,
I feel the rumble of the earth like it breathes,
Do you feel the rumble?
The white man say yes I can feel the rumble,
The little Indian girl stood and told the white man to do the same,
She put her arms out to the sides of her space,
She begins to say do you feel the spirit of the wind?
The spirit of the wind the white man said all confused,
Yes the spirit of the wind, for if there was no spirit in the wind
How do you exist? For your body needs the air to breathe,
The spirit in the wind helps you breathe,
Oh I see the white man said,
Look come the little Indian girl spoke has she ran off,
The white man followed her to a dying dear,
She place her hands on it,
What do you see what do you feel,
The white man said I feel nothing but I know this dear will be dinner soon,
The Indian girl spoke please remove your evil sight and begin to see,
Place your hands on the dear and close your eyes begin to feel,
For this dear has a life even a spirit and a name,
But all you white men have been taken away from your true destiny,
The white man place his hands on the dear,
And began to cry,
I feel its pain the white man said,
The little Indian girl replied,
Don’t be sad that the dear is moving on,
He will return to the earth from where he came,
His spirit will swore in the sky’s and even become a wisdom spirit,
That will guide us.
The white man stood wiped his tears,
And said I now see,
The earth is spirited with all that walk apron it,

Words

Words

My words still fail me when my heart wants to speak.
I close my eyes I start to see you with me.
Tears still fall my eyes still closed, Impossible you may say,
but you have never been loved this way.
The image I see is you dancing with me.
Our eyes are locked in our embrace.
My head is resting on your rib cage
Here is where I hear your heart
I hear your love for me.
Those it doesn't Stop mine from breaking
Has the pain takes my breath away
But that's all my heart truly knows.
Is hurt and pain.
Maybe if I never loved you if we never met,
Would you still be on the path God sent?
No you wouldn't,
 Because Destiny had chosen
For me to love you endlessly

a poem I written last year just though you all would like to read it :)

Losing the Will To Live

The cold sensation of metal on my skin.
Street lamps lighten below the moths drawn to their glow.
repeatedly bang into their shades .
For reasons we will never know.

Sweaty hangs slip.
Losing their grip.
Body falling from the railings.
That was placed therefore your saving.

The feeling of peace washes over me.
My clothing sticking to my skin at front.
Flap with my hair in the breeze at the back.
I close my eyes.
Waiting for the impact of the pavement.
That will erase my very existence..
