-Escape of the mountain-
Do you care about my breast?
The new curve - countryside corset
The beauty of every summer dress
Laying down, wearing out gravity
Embracing the same feeling;
Your hands indulged in
Passion and devotion
around perfumed scenery
The perfect pair
Today we will pray,
Counting every second on the clock
No longer the womanly figure before'
I will possess a new battle,
around the virtues of my palace.
Will you still be there,
when the hump and lump are gone?
Will I still be the queen of your heart?
Patiently I shall wait and see
in hopes to gain the time breast cancer stole
Leaving behind torn tissue, with a daily reminder of;
The one that got away.
The sun yawns in the horizon as it flutters its eyes
Honey – yellow, orange, and shades of red
as it goes into a deep slumber as the moon awakes in the skies.
Heaven vast upon the seas
a pellet of darkest blue violet to a dark inky storm,
Shearwater skim closes the waves in flight by the breeze.
While angels weave and caress in loving warmth
of strength and comfort, an unconditional loving squeeze.
Our Earthly home
Our paradise,
Our Eden,
Our heaven.
A place full of sadness
A place of happiness
A daily reminder
A promise
Heavenly Angels protect,
Meant to be kept for eternity.
Lighting forks across the night skyline,
the rumble of thunder sounds around.
Angels pure of love and where they're most abound.
They're always nigh an angelic sign.

Lord, I Praise And Worship Your Name!
Lord, I praise, worship and honor your name!
Into my heart… I invite you to rule and reign!
Lord, I give you my love and attention!
You have set me in a new direction!
Lord, it is you that brings a daily reminder…
Your grace and mercy is so tender and kinder!
Lord, I humbly raise my hands in adoration…
And lift you up in worship and exaltation!
Lord, Jesus… You are the one I need this day!
I appreciate you much more than words can say!
Lord Jesus… Thanks for all you’ve done already.
When your trumpet sounds… I want to be ready!
Dear Jesus, take my life and my way of living!
All that I have… To you I am giving!
You are and will always be the one for me!
How I long to be with you for eternity!
By Jim Pemberton
Max painted the blush-blue sky
the nest of grass and teal-still waters.
Bursting from his vibrant paintbrush,
a vision that appropriates the canvas.
His hubris angel halo-crowned,
the see-through wings - yellow, blue,
red and pink clipped by the frame.
The rosy countenance without eyes,
has a felicitous sunset glow.
The spiritual being wears
its huge, red heart like a necklace -
it is surrounded by sunny rays.
Attached to arms and shoulders -
seven buttercream blossoms,
cupped in navy blue.
The angel’s, likely hovering,
over the waters, as it
wears a striped and speckled gown,
no feet in sight.
I would like to call the angel a she,
as she is so dazzling,
but in God’s word, we only meet
Michael and Gabriel
and the devil, Lucifer.
Establishing a possible, he,
with broad shoulders,
beautiful beyond belief,
an arresting figure of peace.
A daily reminder
of the existence of life
beyond our realm,
I’m happy that this bright
and vigilant angel
crystallized on Max’s canvas.

The stars come out tonight.
Do you see the ones I do?
That starlit, divine connection
When our DNA magically combined,
Dancing in harmonic coordination.
I can feel your hands in mine so
strong and able!
And I am 29 once again,
Your soft, sweet hurricane.
Putting my key in the door lock..
Laughing as your arms encircle me.
Off flew my shoes, keys rapidly
tossed on the table!
Heading for a future on the couch.
Thank God, there was no cable!
And I? Was so wonderfully, lost.
Eros inspired, as were you!
Both of us willing and more than able.
I, so terribly breathless!
My dancing, sparkling eyed lover, you!
I was absolutely yours for the taking,
And, oh, how well, you knew that.
We walk in our daughter today...
Compassionate, terrifically loving.
How she literally shines of you!
A chromosomatic daily reminder of
The same music still playing,
That memorable night of Agape Mou!

In all these triumphs and human attainments
To overcome these realities of material boundaries and confinements
Do we simply fill our lives with possessions and possessive capitalist greed
Is it just ego and the fear of death that governs our sense of individuality
Have not all of us been children, been fathers or mothers, siblings and friends
Do we not count the emotion of another as being equal to our own
Are we not each and everyone, all of us in this together
Or does this blood run a different colour
Or do we waste our potential for mankind’s united evolvement
To reach for the inspiring pinnacle of our spiritual development
Mutually joined in a harmony of trust to the betterment of our destiny
When do we celebrate the diversity of our sense to make sense of the senseless
And so we have lingered through the century’s victim to our own disease
In progress and with education our intelligence still limited in tribal ignorance
The mathematic, scientific and technological revolution providing no solution
Simply confounded by our own simplicity and basic needs
For food and warmth, for shelter and love, for the relief of boredom
Cavemen of the mundane and slaves to acquisition and our own entertainment
As we merely continue to continue
Such is as we are, the problem vis-à-vis the individual and the global
Knowing all to well what we could achieve if we could but realise our dreams
Doomed to a life which creates nothing but want
And a daily reminder of all the things that we can’t
While the cradle of the Earth sickens with our planetary abuse
Have we truly lost ourselves in the all about the money all the way of things
Have we signed our fate over to our own arrogance and blind stupidity
When then do we celebrate our diversity of sense to make sense of "our" senseless
Peace lily a potted plant
Long enerald leaves with white blooms
Simple teracota pot contains and nourishes
A sympathy gift, a daily reminder-forget me not!
I hear Wallace whisper, as I pace and rant
Our time has been paused and will resume
Peace lily a potted plant
Long emerald leaves with white blooms
Mischievious smile has a posessive haunt
The still broad leaves echo in the room
A voice that prophesizes gloom and doom
Your name has a new slant
Peace lily a potted plant
**A rondel form of poetry
Here it comes again, the daily reminder ...
cold sweats out of nowhere that hit me like a slap
on the face, my entire body turning clammy wet in an
instant, three-or-four times every day. Then there's the
uncontrollably exaggerated yawning and eyes that won't stop
watering, a runny nose as if instant hay fever, and that nearly in-
tolerable creepy muscle thing ... that's the worst symptom of all by
far, (akathisia, it's called), because you CAN'T hold still - all your bones
and muscles have to move at once, or you quite simply can NOT tolerate it.
I always say a prayer that it only happens a few
times each day, and only lasts for a short time, but
to be honest, it's a nightmare, and inside I'm cursing ...
cursing myself for this reminder. The reminder of a terribly
bad decision that I made thirty years ago. Oh, my "problem"
is under control, thanks to a wonder drug that did indeed save
my life, (when my heart stopped thrice), and while I no longer abuse
anything, that accursed monkey is still there, riding me like a two-dollar
mare, and reminding me a few times each day, that it's completely in control.
Yes, I'm alive and writing this because of it, and
as thankful as a human can be, truly, but I'm light-
years from the obliged kiss-off I dream about giving it.
You see, it creates another problem all its own, one they
don't tell you about when you start on "The Program", that
this particular monkey, while having the power to save your life,
is also the strongest, most tenacious monkey that exists, by FAR,
and the chance of you ever giving it that dreamed-about final goodbye,
are easily the longest odds you've ever had, especially with a weakened heart.
But you push your mind to try to remain thankful
nonetheless, because after all, you ARE still alive ...
alive and kicking and getting these wonderfully horrific
reminders each day, of just how little control and charge
and health and power you have over your own life ... alive
and moving through life like you have a giant condom on your
body and mind and emotions, not really FEELING or emoting or
experiencing much of anything in the way a human being SHOULD be,
but alive and breathing and functioning ... you ARE still alive ... aren't you?

My Journey in Christ
~*~
I wasn’t forced to follow Christ, I Decided it,
I don’t worship to hear my voice,
I worship because He deserves it.
I don’t read his word because it is
A story I read it because it is true.
I love my God, and I won’t ever
deny it to anyone, for any reason.
I read in Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my
Righteous right hand.
Did you know never once in the Bible
Does is say,” You buddy go figure it out.”
However, the phrase
“Do not be afraid”
Is written in Bible 365 times.
That a daily reminder from God of His
Love, to live every day being fearless.
Sometimes God’s blessings are not
In what He gives; but in what he takes away.
Like our sins though Jesus His Son!
He must have really loved us to done that;
To give His Son for our wicked ways
Man that is real love!

Began so promising
As thoughts of a new year approached
Some called it a year of new beginnings and clarity
That 20/20 vision of sorts
Unknown and foreign
You found your origins in a faraway land
Yet soon enough, you would break the barriers of
Race, class, religion, and international borders
YEAH! You’re indiscriminate
Lock down, shut down and shortages
A daily struggle we endured
The knowledge of your existence, coupled with fear
Put the world on notice that we were in control of NOTHING
You wrestled even the healthiest to their breaking point
Them now depending on machines to inhale and exhale
You took the weakest and oldest, showing no mercy
Masks, gloves, tissue, sanitizer; even Lysol and Clorox
Became luxury items
Almost two years later
Vaccinations, side effects and still, MASKS
Are a daily reminder that
Covid made it’s way to every point of the world
And still; we are in control of NOTHING

Hold You…
I’ve got so much on my mind
I’m thinking about you
So many empty feelings from the past
That are no longer true
You mean so much to me
You are filling up my time
And in my one track mind
You are the only one I see
How often I talk about you
To myself or to someone else
So many emotions spilling over themselves
From my heart to yours
I have got to find a way
To tell you how I’m feeling
Before you’re gone
Before I run away from my feelings
Just being near you is enough for me to feel complete,
Just to have you as a thought within my mind…
You’ve become again
A daily reminder of what really matters
And deep in my heart I hold you…
Every house has a secret
Every secrets crack like old paint brushes
Years of hidden secrets can jeopardize our future
No matter how well kept
Unlike the true identity of Mona Lisa
Some secret are best kept untold
Within each house a heart is broken
Each room is a constant daily reminder
However, once it’s broken it’s impossible to fix
Secret and lies cause a sense of nagging conscience
We all need a chair in Washington
To turn around and vouch for us
However, not this time, not this time
We the people have to make it happen
My memories are made from my many moments, within the glistening of my eyes are tears of laughter, tears of pain, tears of love but this twinkle remains the same.
My heart so full of love yet the beating seems so sad and slow.
Beyond the days of everlasting hours, the nights draw into quick.
In the darkness of this life comes a flicker of light and hope that is of you.
My daily reminder of why I'm fighting,
Why I must remain strong and true.
I'll never stop believing, I'll never ever stop loving you.
This road of turns, twists, bumps and spikes isn't forever i see the end in sight.
I'll never stop being me because I'm your dad, your friend, your fighter, your protector, As that's all I know its all I can truly be.
In this moment of hesitation and self doubt and madness, through the lies and all this pain and the distance there is between us now.
In my heart and in my eyes this dad promises you I'll never change.
I'll keep fighting skin and bone till my body gives up and says no.
As this day ends and a new one begins the truth will show I have no fear, I'll climb every mountain, face every wall, ill fight anything thrown at me, I'll risk everything I'll risk it all because I am like David and this Goliath I'm going to be fighting will eventually fall, your are my children your my everything you are my essence my being my all.
This journey ahead is no easy accomplishment, and the tasks ahead are not small but with the memory's i hold close and a glisten in my eye and the beats within my very heart.
Your the reason I fight every day and stay strong and true.
You give me hope, as your my strength. Your the reason I wake and smile and why I walk my own life's green mile.

It's the first time in a long time
That I haven't gazed at the setting sun
Riding down that winding country road
Wind whipping at my outstretched hand
A road that wound through dead end towns
Filled with life that may or may not know better
A road that meant more to me
Than any other road I traveled those years
Buildings and homes created from stone
All glowing golden under the twilit sky
It didn't seem like a place one could live
But doubtless, some had lived and died there
At one point it represented promise
A biweekly reminder that dreams could be achieved
As it led to a small library
That me and many others grew to know as home
I'd sit in any of the eight seats in the hall
Gazing out at the twilit field that surrounded it
A traffic light glared fiercely back
As an hour passed and four cars went by
At another point it represented hope
A daily reminder that an ancient disease had a cure
As it led to a large hospital
That her and many others grew to know as home
I'd stand at the wooden door that blocked me from her
Gazing out at the bustling town that surrounded it
Headlights glared fiercely back
As half an hour passed as infinite footsteps echoed behind me
I never knew that road under the light of dawn
Nor under the blazing radiance of noon
Simply as the dusky twilight road that led to promise and hope
And under the pitch black cover of night that led back to reality
None of those dreams came to light
The skills I learned at that library amongst peers
I chose to cast away to pursue a new reason
To stare at a computer for the rest of my life
That disease is ancient because it was strong enough
To survive unfettered for millennia
Her time at the hospital meant nothing
As she became my Patient Zero
I still dream about that road
About what seemed to represent infinite promise and possibility
So far away from all of my haunts
There's only one reason to return
To attempt to stretch my arm out again
As the wind caresses and kisses it
As I attempt to reach through time and space
And grab the hands of my younger selves who drove on this same road.
Today I feel a furious intensity
About two years, ago
Family members would always love to share
The news about the passing of someone
Either from the village, or someone, I once knew
I remember during our conversations; I would tense up
And asked of them not to called and give me bad news
Death is a daily reminder,
right up there on our calendars
When I was away, my neighbor
Call and told me, that someone was
Outside my door, all dress in black banging on my door
Right away my thoughts were
The Angel of Death, looking for me...
During these pandemics' day, he is all over the place
Like an Amazon Prime van, outnumbered by UPS trucks,
While the world is being shut down,
Some of the people, refused to give a rat ass
They still refusing the vaccines
Protecting themselves, or worried about this thing call death
Death will clinch us all, poets always write about it
As they convey things that other forms of expression can’t. Quote:
A man with outward courage dares to die; a man with inner courage dares to live. Lao Tzu
My motto for today is live each day as if it's your last.
