Wonderful Worthing Promenade Part 1
Five miles of neatly spaced suckered palm planted
Bustling promenade,
Not withstanding a provincial cafe-culture
Of restaurants and exciting little bars,
Enhance upon regal elegance of the crammed hotels
Regency period style facades;
Their fashionable shadows slowly lifting and slowly falling
Across the lines of deferentially, slowly moving cars.

Trundling on...

Blue Harvest Moon
Comes silently
on sorrel moccasins

roosted on tortoiseshell
of root cellar

singing, stumbling
in numb imaginings

lit with half-light
vegetables
squeezed in jars
of russet and avocado

above
a cornice of sky
split with laughter
searching
for broken arrowheads
gold and silver among leaves

air billowed white
from lips
soft frail bones
of snowflakes
magically appear
scattering in breath
taken away
into apple night...

Paper Buckles 5 - 6
4.
on this spine
having a mouth of crocodile
always jump down
the climate

everyday
the sunglass changes

look at the soil and the sky
no one of them has any body-guard

the open mouth of the light
swallows the grey coin

here...

Fish Another Day
Lady cat kicks off fishless day in the face

Soap-Song
if the sinking-of-boat …ice-cream by name
be deducted from the swept-off-in-flood … by name roll no 31
then would the wings of the comics
cease to exist

what says the uninterrupted sound of water-falling
from the stomach of the moon

what writes the pus and...

Hitler's Watercolours
This one’s a castle, that’s a customs-house.
They’re stolid, listless, just a little dull.
The sky supports an arbitrary gull.
The languidness of Lizst, the style of Strauss

are wholly absent. Colours are metallic.
The eye sweeps over cornice, turret, steeple,
and then it dawns on us – there are...

Bazaar
Bazaar

The nights’ chest opens up -
strings of illusions
rattle in palms
the knowing buyers haggle
for a dream
while the fascinated women
try on
toles of princesses or odalisques.
In the shell of hope
genuine perls are priceless.

Silk labyrinth
of amber and incense,
amulets of shamans hidden in death,
a mirage in golden cases,
the...

Carried Off In a Flood
the open-hair magnolia remains standing
putting a hand on the window-bar
of the camellia

sometimes
i think of knowing from her
through sending a pink-letter
who have gone in the fall of night
crossing the border
on foot

and who have like to deposit
the spoilt...

Haywire Ghetto
Haywire ghetto, lingering corpses, malingering sunshine,
Malignant malediction, staccato with disseminating stench,
Portending: ichor, insipid blood and wenches.

Juxtaposition of aphotic with aphotic; incognizant iniquity.

Noxious oxygen, attenuated jasper, jejune jardiniere:
Zion.

Smoke: implicative cornice,
Sherry or vitriol?
Ours, a world, that feigns polo in alcohol!!

I Couldn'T Let Me Die, Yesterday
I couldn’t let me die
=
The edge of the cornice is a call I cannot avoid;
the torrents of sounds, vague and uncommunicating,
are encircling myself; the edge of the cornice calls me.

A whisper of nothings, which can only be the dark rants
of one who loves flogging,...

Dawn's Embrace:
Adret: Dawn paints the face of giants,
Where sunlight warms and shadows dance.
Aiguille: Fingers pierce the azure sky,
A challenge whispered, sharp and high.

Earth's Whispers:
Dome: Molten heart, now cold and grand,
A silent testament to time's command.
Escarpment: Sheer cliffs, a warrior's stance,
Where wind whispers tales of...

A Pretty Large Pumpkin
A pretty large pumpkin
Light orange red dome
A greenish hand holding the petiole
Is there a green soul

It's a little obscure
The halloween moon is
just a slim crescent

Roots and branches are a giant spiderweb
holding a spooky silhouette

On that flat stone behind
what is that, a cat?

Paper thin melted gold
laying...

She Likes To Walk When Night Has Come
She likes to walk when night has come
And every time like on cornice
She's like an angel I'll stay numb,
But skies reject her heavy sins.
They're heavy like her idle cross
Nevertheless she goes outside
There's no free place in heart of hers
She doesn't need someone beside.
I give her...
