Premium Member Lord God, You Are My Great and Powerful Christ

October 17 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Acts 8-9

Key Verse – Acts 8:10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GREAT AND POWERFUL CHRIST

Lord God, You are my great and powerful Christ,
always working beyond my incapacity
Thank You for healing me of my sin-caused infirmity
Truly extricating me from bewitching worldliness-vanity
Indeed beholding me with Your loving security.

Lord God, You are my great and powerful Christ,
always responding beyond my prayerfulness
Thank You for prodding me to do well with Your gracious steadfastness
Truly convicting me to repent of my unrighteousness
Indeed pardoning me with Your forgiving zealousness.

Lord God, You are my great and powerful Christ,
always granting beyond my desire
Thank You for declaring to me through the Scripture what You require
Truly moving me to believe You along Your revival fire
Indeed making me rejoice in Your bliss that does not retire.

Lord God, You are my great and powerful Christ,
always rescuing beyond my threatened situation
Thank You for accompanying me in my spiritual journey along Your direction
Truly leading me through Your divine vision
Indeed showing me Your goodness with Your compassion.

Lord God, You are my great and powerful Christ,
always upholding beyond my strengthened might
Thank You for proving to me Your amazing and confounding light
Truly watching me by Your counsels so right
Indeed taking me away from harm by Your protecting sight.

Lord God, You are my great and powerful Christ,
always cheering beyond my fear
Thank You for comforting me as to Your heart You draw me near
Truly making me whole against iniquity-affliction’s tear
Indeed enclosing me around Your care I hold so dear.

Lord God, You are my great and powerful Christ,
always comforting beyond my grievous weeping
Thank You for consoling me in my frustration-groping
Truly lifting me up when I lament, miserably coping while hoping
Indeed supplying me with Your blessings that are heaping.

I Can Do All Things Through Christ

....Whom strenghtens me.................................
My Father knows that this child's life has been strewn
Littered about with sorrows, sins and darkness ? Still these eyes
Behold his infant innocent; seven years old hearing about, Lord Jesus....
Amid the turmoil a life for their very first time: perhaps, and left wishing ?
Deliverence from that her starless night; love as light this, tiny heart
Twas not my road, of meant to be; a different passage was drawn for me: time
Etched her truth his spirit the valley, where tears shall fall: purity swept away and flesh
Fulfilling it's call; offering a scorpion in exchange these fertile eggs ? Vehement their cries when
The King did say, Woe unto you hypocrites, for you have taken away the key of knowledge....
An open sepulchre entering not yourselves ? High places black robes; convicting hades, your ghost.

Premium Member You Are So Good To Me, My God

My God, You are so good* to me…
Despite my sinfulness and selfishness
You gave Yourself to me with Your loving kindness
To save me from hell and give me eternal life’s fullness.
Such I can’t fathom; thus, let me acknowledge Your graciousness!

You are so merciful to me…
Though I disobey You consciously
You always grant me forgiveness completely
And cleanse me from my unrighteousness fully.
Such I can’t explain; thus, let me forsake my sins with Your help totally!

You are so patient with me…
Along my stubbornness’ reaction
You keep working for my restoration
While convicting me of my transgression.
Such I can’t understand; thus, let me yield to Your direction!

You are so gracious to me…
Even if I depart from Your design
You pull me constantly toward what’s divine
Upholding me so that in frustration I won’t resign.
Such I can’t assess; thus, let me follow You as I’m Thine!

You are so faithful to me…
Amidst my infidelity to our covenant together
You unceasingly assure me of Your care forever
Whatever happens, You’ll leave nor forsake me never.
Such I can’t describe; thus let me trust You against doubts that bother!

You are so long suffering to me…
While I appear arrogant and unyielding
You teach me humility’s virtue as rewarding
As exemplified by Christ Who died on the cross bleeding.
Such I can’t measure; thus, let me bear earthly condescending!

You are so compassionate to me…
Notwithstanding my service that’s unacceptable
You correct me of lack of prayer and vanity-stumble
To reach Your holy standards, making my stewardship fruitfully stable.
Such I can’t repay; thus, let me live for You truly as Your Spirit does enable!

*Psalm 25:8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Unity , Grace Above

I roam whine ding down an endless road vexed . Near truth but far from its effects in this mess where men's minds relaxed wasted in haste for no rest from hate . Their cries unheard as pain shouts out fear raised yet creed of men not applied . Not a tear of humanity , nor fear of god's convicting spirit . As I stand bemused tears rush but not for deeds , but for minds so blinded by haste rush in with hate not love or just act . No honor amongst men just cruelty . Nobility , virtue lost in mazes of race yet justice is ignored as she lays gasping for air near death . For when men loss sight of her , not up hold her creed that was an effect of from the word of god . But men with no creed heed not conviction of a maze , grace . They are slaves to wasted time of hate with out cause , and when men do wrong in a continuum spend of time their minds are remade with false creeds . Where pain is not seen , where deeds inhumane . But justice is a child of the father above whose deeds are empowered by grace in mazes of wrong , just . For grace flows when men united reflecting respect , yielding changes . Unity even but by a few shines , reaches out beyond . For if a few have mentality of unity their state of being spreads , burns hotter than a blazing fire in hearts of men surrounding near .

Premium Member A Poem of Love, Question Mark

Write a poem of love?
 Aye, aye, aye.
 (Sigh)
 I'll try....
It's like trying to recall a violent crime.

 Describe the incident.
 Details, be specific.

 My body shakes.
 Tears flow uncontrollably.
 Who did this to me?

 A police shows potential suspects,
 questions my best guess.
I gaze at the faces, blankly.
Quite frankly, each looks the same:
a cruel man without a name.
 So there becomes my frame---
 They ARE all the same.
To ALL them is my blame.

 A bitter woman I became,
 claiming rapists among the tame.
You're one. So are you, and you, too.
 Closed heart. Fearful, angry view.
 Convicting the innocent.
 Condemning them,
so the one possessing my torn out heart
 still held it
 in prison.

I waited for their impending death.
 Instead I died.
 I died inside.

 Where is love?

 Help me find
a safe place to hide .

My Mind

My mind

My mind is a prison
Overpopulated with remorse
Incarcerated by images of sin
My mind refuses rehabilitation
It cowers in a concrete corner
Face in hands; protesting parole
My mind punishes me with guilt
Terrorizing my thoughts
A reoccurring rape of recidivism
My mind is unforgiving
It confiscates my hope
Segregates my dreams in isolated darkness
Allowing occasional one hour visits of promise.
My mind is a complicated collage of convicting confessions
Callously castrating my continuing calls for clemency
My mind mocks mercy
It Mimics moments of misery In a mental mirror
Molesting my mild memories in a riot of regrets
My mind wants no truce
It gladly guards my goals behind gilded gates of grief
Giving me a life sentence of worry
My mind is a prison that I cannot escape
Every night I am summoned from my dim-lit cell
And violently beaten into submission
Here, I repent
I pray for a pardon
And although the Almighty has given me a reprieve
My mind assures me that death is my only release

Premium Member Jude - Servant of Jesus Christ

This guy Jude is the real thing
giving himself to serve the king
sending his word of mercy and peace
with God's perfect love he does bring

But brings also a real warning
to beware of those with false faith
unaware they've crept in to deceive
denying Jesus Christ they saith

Sodom and Gomorrah are examples
of those who don't believe were slain
a judgement awaits such sinners
with fire eternal like torrential rain

Enoch prophesied God with his holy army
will come convicting all of ungodliness
in every aspect of such awful iniquity
bring an account of all unrighteousness

God alone's able to keep us to stand
present us blameless in fullest joy
give glory to Jesus Christ the Lord
alone worthy for Satan He will destroy

Grace

Striving for perfection comes with a price
so it's true the higher you climb the more unforgiving people become,
so I ask God let thy will be done not mines,
I too felt like I was in the garden of Gethsemane in my life time,
forced to make decisions about the people in it when their season was finished,
am I tripping. That's what they said,
and my actions obviously led them to believe that this wasn't supposed to happen,
kinda like how we who call ourselves believers or even devout saints
weren't suppose to let sin be the reason we relapsed. Cut out the Holier than thou act
truth is even those you idolize and pedestal are in rehab,
everyone is struggling with something,
so go ahead keep lying to yourself but note to self
the first step is acceptance, accepting that you are far from right with God, you went left.
Go ahead repent, what the Holy spirit does that non believers or atheist will never get
is that it shoots straight threw pride past your emotions and leaves a convicting spirit
with the fear in your soul where you finally can admit and say "I'm not right"
you see the biggest misconception about Christianity in the west,
is that if you accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour then everything this world,
these streets couldn't offer you he will and indeed bless you with the rest.
But here's the truth,
just because you came in class late you are not exempt from the test,
Hell, God made his self into a man,
and because he saw no end to our ancestors wickedness,
he deemed it necessary that the only way to redeem us was to give up himself for us.
Now I'm no preacher, I don't even go to church
so don't confuse me with any lay member, minister, or deacon just someone who kinda
knows the Holy script according to how the Catholic church saw fit to write it up.
but here's the message. How can you, a finite flawed human being compete with his
perfection, you can't, stop trying he knows this, so start shooting for progression.
Because no matter how good of a saint you try to be,
you can't buy your way into Heaven.
He paid the price you've been set free from bondage of the flesh.
You got what you didn't deserve,
he took what was coming to you and that's what we call grace.
So I guess my only other question to those who say only God can judge me,
without Christ Jesus how you plan to beat the case...

I Need To Pray For Others

I Need to Pray for Others!

Someone came to me,
 wanting some prayer.
He was filled with trouble and despair.

When I reached out to him to
 began to pray…
I just couldn’t find any words to say.

The Holy Spirit began tugging
 at my heart within.
Convicting me of holding
 on to a “secret sin.”

THIS SIN, God told me
I must first let go,
For this was eating
at my very soul.

My prayer life had been
 such a mess.
I soon repented, and to God I confessed,

I called out to Jesus’
precious name
Inviting him into my
 whole life to reign.

On bended knees before my Lord
 I humbly bowed!
My prayer was going to be answered somehow!

This prayer request for this person
  is going to be met!
For God has never
failed me YET!

Joan of Arc

This quest arose for Jeanne d'Arc,
A peasant girl engrossed in prayer.
When voices deep inside her head,
Spoke of her future, saving France.
During the passing march of time,
   Wise words transcended Jeanne's belief.
   With eloquence she did proclaim,
The Dauphin Charles would be crowned king.

Jeanne's duty now, to free Orleans,
   Which Englands army had besieged.
   Her strategy of no retreat,
Caused panic in the English camp.
   When cannon fire created haze,
Two arrows pierced Jeanne's armour plate.
Despite her wounds she battled on.
   With victory lifting the siege.

The road to Reims to crown Charles king,
Was fraught with danger near Patay.
Jeanne's orders were, to ride with spurs.
The English drums beat out retreat,
French knights on horseback giving chase
Were almost ambushed by their foe.
   A startled stag caused disarray.
The French knights spilling English blood.
   Jeanne kneeling down, tearfully prayed,
Betwixt those dying and the dead.

With Charles crowned king, and wanting peace
Jeanne's siege of Paris did surcease.
Her power was his great concern,
   Consigning her to free Compiegne.
A skirmish by the city walls
   Ended with Jeanne's captivity.

The trial of the Orleans maid
A charge of heresy was placed
Which Jeanne as always did deny.
With threats of torture or confess,
Those voices past, she did retract
Only to say, it was Gods will.
So weary now, she knew her fate.
For modesty, she wore mens clothes
   Convicting her of heresy.

   Within Rouen's old market place
Jeanne's death was burning at the stake.
An English guard made her a cross
He wept then cried, we've burnt a saint.

A Killers Mind

( A KILLERS MIND )

What goes on in a killers mind, what makes them want to kill.
Is it money that they are after, or the sickness of the thrill.
The subconscience can be convicting, the appeal can be unclear.
Do they do it for the graditude, why cant they face their fear.

You can try to read a killers mind, but get no-where real fast.
Alot I`ve heard have twisted souls, and a pretty messed up past.
How they think is quite perplexed, their emotions run real wild.
They dont care about another being, and thats putting it quite mild.

Their life is often daunted, and they dont have much to give.
They are loners in society, and they dont care if they live.
A killers mind is akwardly smart, To them life is a puzzle.
Their attitudes can change real fast, like a dog that needs a muzzle.

To understand a killers mind, one must feel perception.
To dig deep in and anadote, a killers mild redemption.
A lifetime of constant rejection, is what you just might find.
Deep inside a monsters head, set alone is the killers mind.

Jsus Needs To Cleanse the Sin In Churches Today

Jesus Needs to Cleanse The Sin In Our Churches Today!

Many in church allow things in their life, that don’t belong!
This is why they’re weak,
 and not spiritually strong!

So much filth from the world is what’s often enjoyed…
While so many lives are being spiritually destroyed!

Even prayer time seems to be a “thing of the past.”
Many want “cheap thrills…” And they want them fast!

Any kind of holy living is often being replaced.
“Anything goes,” as long as it brings a “smiling face.”

“If it feels good, do it!” Seems to be the “new rule.”
“We don’t want to offend anyone.” “We want to be cool!”

Many want to have services that are called “contemporary.”
Whatever “peace” and “love,”
 many have… Is just temporary!

Many don’t want to hear about God’s holy way of living.
“All is o.k.” As long as they go on Sunday and keep giving!

Any respect for God’s house is often “thrown out the door.”
God’s convicting presence, they don’t want anymore!

It’s about the numbers, and how many people come in…
“Let’s not offend anyone.” “Let’s no preach about sin!”

The truth of God’s word has too often been watered down.
Would God himself, would be welcomed on their side of town?

It’s time for a Holy Ghost shaking of the wickedness within!
It’s time we preach on what is holy, and what is SIN!

Judgment shall begin at God’s house. It’s almost here!
Christ is coming soon! His return is very near!

Please come Lord Jesus! And restore our churches today!
We need your cleansing power!
 And our sins washed away!
