August wind, glass moon,serendipity...
two chairs gazing at each other in tender flow.
Hundred miles away, clouds gather
to fondle the opening and closing
of after- midnight refrains,
both trespassing a continental divide
to awaken upon scrolls of ramblings
united by the sorcery of mystic spaces
between humid lenses.

On such lit evenings, I...

Premium Member Song of The Jaguar No 2: ABBA
Inspiring, crescendo ... the ascension,
of myth and legend as Yaguara,
or "Death in one leap" the sleek frame, Jaguar
as if it's from another dimension.
Leopards bit spotty, but Jaguars take
a rosette form, tell-tale signs like water
that natures them. As a jungle squatter,
prey, and time of hunt, don't...

Climb the terrain slowly, the nature's wonder is unfolding
Look afar, the Rocky Mountain peaks are beholding
Marvel the scenic wonder of rising bluish hues
Catch the rainbow hiding behind snow covered views.

Roam the glowing clouds with a dessert in the dining car
Glance at the meadows of...

God lets us see life from every angle. Anklebiters that we are. Fist fighters, black-eyed contenders, snivelers. The boss looks down, looks into our eyes, looks at our feet, looks underneath. We don’t see the cobwebs between our fingers and toes, in our mouth and...

Your Move Lord

Is there a God?
A benevolent entity.
An eternal presence presiding over me.
A creator, watching and observing.
All knowing.
Is my end determined and conclusive before it begins, before I begin?
If so, then to what purpose am I created?
How does something so perfect, create something so...

From the Painted Desert, head west
Past sagebrush, brittle bush, desert scrub
And The Petrified Forest at rest
To the Rocky Mountains above
Go past the Continental Divide
Below Douglas firs and pinyon pines
Head down the sunset side
Where the Colorado River cuts and winds

Many generations ago
Native Americans were inhabiting squatters
There...

Hear the lonesome whistle blow, it echoes across the vast
Continental divide, connecting the Pacific and Atlantic
Coastal shores, by the steel rails iron horse.
It raged in blazing thunder, leaving a storm cloud of white
Smoke in it's wake.
Lightning's hell speed, drives this devil's steed, with flames
Fire, feeding...

Summertime Celebration, Freedom
I love summertime.
Especially the ones—
Meandering from here
To where with only
   One care.
Adventure

Three curious children and a map
Destined for experience.
The trunk packed to the rim:
Ravioli, tuna, applesauce, and veggies,
Salty crackers, peanut butter, jelly
And you name it…snacks galore.
Lots of pillows, covers and
Camping...

The Great Falls of the northern Plains is actually a chain of five seperate waterfalls
varying in height and majesty extending over 12 miles,
they also confirm that the right river was chosen,
we had hoped that the necessary portage of boats and supplies
would take no more than...

Hold the Phone

Incoming ...
distress missive call
Hangups on the other side
of the continental divide cellular room
Mushroom sobs of insecurity
click end of volatile transmission
Redialitis sparks an emotional kaboom

Hold the phone ...
busy signal
blocks the aural unnecessary
audio carrying on

Listen to the sick, sad drone
of earworm...

Riding Route 66 With the Wind On Our Faces
The bike was loaded and packed
The duffle bag strapped to the rack
The air was crisp when we started out at dawn
In the early morning hours we were gone
Down the road with the wind on our faces
Off to visit some far off places
Headed south...

In the Moment
In the Moment

There was a happening
in the sky last evening
just before sunset
pregnant Cumulous clouds
streaky Cirrus clouds
and even the ones that
look like flying saucers
all there in a thousand
shades of gray with bright
sun beginning to fall
beneath the continental divide
the space between the clouds and
the Rocky Mountains shone
brilliant...

Heart Sounds
Does your heart make a sound when it is breaking?
Can you hear with your ears the sound it is making?
Does it sound like a train when it is crashing?
Or more like it hitting the water and splashing.

Is the sound so silent it is curiously deafening
And...
