How Great Thou Art!

High above the clouds, in the sun’s glow
Blue skies above, blue seas below
In-between, lies millions of milky white clouds
Looking like snow heaps, piled up in mounds

Sitting in this iron-bird, flying in the air
The wonders of God, His majesty how fair
Cloud patches billowing, each with its own shape
Some looking so much like the mountain’s cape

Men take in the air, thousands of dead weight
Have we with death, a final date
Can it be that we know, God’s presence is there
Let’s not our conciseness stifle here

O gracious and most mighty God
I bow in awe at your majesty
Each patch of land below
Each piece of cloud above
Speak volumes of your greatness and love
O Lord my God, how great Thou art

My fellow poets, whenever you should happen to be an airplane again, just take a look out
the window. Look at the clouds, see how they are formed. See how they hang in
suspended air. Look at the wing of the aircraft, see how it floats in the air without falling,
then tell me, there is no God and he is not a great God! I challenge you!

Premium Member Full of Hope

Hope is the only thing that keeps me alive
Every day I push myself to strive
Lord thank you, just these two words describe how I’m grateful
My life is full of obstacles and mistakes that’s what makes it intriguing and beautiful
Life sure has not turned out the way I have wished
That is why I must persist
The conciseness of these words is a gift to you from me
Poetry paints the whole world of what I need to say about what my spirit sees
There is more joy in being content
Life is a work in progress it is not finished yet
At times we may not get what we want or what we think we need
Patience is a virtue and it makes us take heed
When I think about that my live appears pretty full
Let life happen if it takes its toll
I will pray for the hearts that don’t have hope until my voice becomes gravelly, and my bones are weary
I will then rise in a new reality, and singing praises for all eternity

We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.
Martin Luther King, Jr.

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.

Past, Present, Future

Past haunts the present,
 Past lives in the future.
It crosses paths with what’s to come,
Shows its face when you don’t expect.
Casts its shadow when you think you escaped,
 mistakes felt, feelings lived through.
Choices uncovered comes back to you,
No point to run or hide from what’s left,
It will be beside the secrets you kept.
It will follow filling the hollow
spaces and places that mind hides and erases.
Heart beating rhythm, time won’t forgive them,
Mistakes, choices and old lost voices,
Conciseness burning and life keeps on turning

Premium Member Age Doesn'T Matter When Your In Love

This is all from my heart
It's all apart of my conciseness
And there's no perversions
I'm coming to you with true love
Just one step below agape love

You were thirteen I was eighteen
Your just starting puberty
You're, you are beautiful
But I couldn't tell your mother or father
Though there are five years age difference

It's not sensual nor sexual, I will wait for ya
Age doesn't matter when your in love

This is all from my heart
It's all apart of my conciseness
And there's no perversions
I'm coming to you with true love
Just one step below agape love

It's not sensual nor sexual, I will wait for ya
Age doesn't matter when your in love

Your eyes bronze
hair color amber
Lips are plumb, lemons
Mind so amazing
Life song singing praising the Lord

You were twenty-five I am forty-seven
Our relationship seventh-heaven
Hold my hand
I'll be the man
I have the plan
Together with God we shall make a stand
In holy matronmony
I shall not be ashamed to love you only
To love openly as long as we're together praising God together

This is all from my heart
It's all apart of my conciseness
And there's no perversions
I'm coming to you with true love
Just one step below agape love

It's not sensual nor sexual, I will wait for ya
Age doesn't matter when your in love

Your thirty nine and I am sixty three
I have a ring and I love you
I promised God I'll be strong
I shall never, ever lead you on
Mind so amazing
Life song singing praising God

The aged differences means nothing if there's truth
in us together in God with love

This is all from my heart
It's all apart of my conciseness
And there's no perversions
I'm coming to you with true love
Just one step below agape love

It's not sensual nor sexual, I will wait for ya
Age doesn't matter when your in love

Michael

Michael the first time I saw you singing got to be there I wanted to be there with you
Michael as you grew a little older I never wanted to say goodbye
Michael as you became a teenager I felt your lyrics from the heart break hotel

Michael when you became a man I became your number one fan
Michael when I saw you do the moonwalk on Motown 25 I wanted to be Billie Jean
Micheal when I heard human nature I wanted to become more apart of you

Your style your essence I never knew could ever touch my soul not
just your physical being it's just everything

Michael when I saw the video the way you make me feel you really turned me on
you really knot me off my feet and, yes my lonely days were gone
Michael when I saw you in Thriller you really scared me you were that good

Michael when I saw you in the Man in the Mirror I never knew how hard
you worked on social conciseness which made our whole universe aware
you made me wanna make that change

Michael when I saw you in Remember the Time I remember once again you
stole my heart as I saw you dance and disappear I caught a glimpse of your magic
Michael when I saw you in Don't Stop till You Get Enough I was in awe of your every
move I never saw such a smile that lit up the screen your whole being danced like
I've never seen

All these things could hardly express how you touched my life in some many ways

On the day you left I was sitting here at this desk playing your music little did I know
on that day my heart would be broken with tears and sadness forever

I love you from the very beginning with all the sounds of my heart
the love I have for you will never part until we meet in god's promise
land in god's heart.

Calvary Hill

Calvary Hill.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I curse the day I ever entered Jerusalem,
I curse even more ever meeting Gestas.

The night chills seem to burn in to my wounds
and I feel wretched and stretched upon this cross.
The blood around my mouth has congealed
since i stopped biting my lips in pain.

My whole body aches with stiffness
from cramps and the pressure in my chest
is becoming unbearable,
I try to press down with my feet
but exhaustion is taking its toll.

I drift in and out of conciseness
and dream of water and warmth.
The crowds have all gone,
except for one woman
who kneels at the foot of
the cross of this man Jesus.
This man, that fool.

I bemoan the fact this man
even knows his Father
and I curse mine whoever he may be.

I think Gestas is dead,
for he has not hurled abuse
at this Son of God
for a long time now.

I pray to this mans God
that the guards will finally
break my legs and end my torment.
I call to him for help
and I hear this Jesus say,
"today you shall be with me in paradise"

My salty tears run down
my battered cheeks
and fall into forever.

A sign of my human frailty,
a sign of mans inhumanity
high upon this hill.
A Testament indeed.

The Undertaker

The undertaker
A vile cruel man
He that rots in the depths a foggy abyss
Chained by the sinful sorrowful
He only slightly emitted into a netherworld
His makings of the undone
His scythe piercing the heart
Of the two people
I loved most in this world
Sadly I wasn’t invited in this ordeal
I’m sure they were great for the feast
Though for surely not my conciseness was fed
Either Mentally or Physically
Most definitely he will rebuke the taste
For they are too untainted
For a vile man such as he
For he is always starving
For the purely unclean

A Grain of Stardust

from a photo challenge in A Poet's Haven
Out there amidst the glowing stars
She lived a thousand, thousand times
Holds onto memories from each one
She has loved the same man
In each one as their love
Has never ended and she searches
For him now out there amidst
The glowing stars is the one
She has loved a million times
And here amidst are humble Terra
There are but a few who
Understand the conciseness of a single
Grain of Stardust let alone all
The memories contained within each one

Howl Revisted

I.
Written,
Upon a TV snap,
Exquisite implosion, for
Crippled words,
In land of lords, and
Crimson shepherds.
My I, and
Hands at play.
Now moments are
Me bitter.
To work then,
This sharp,
A blade to sunlight,
To cut our fat.

      II.
A Howl,
In New York,
Black and white,
By the day's genius,
A fad long past,
With a wish, return.
When I Deep,
Held naked, In rhythm
His shaky, pitch,
Mantras voice,
Erect,
Brilliantly nasty,
Tentacle opean,
Nods to comrades.

      III.
Need beats,
And crazy men,
Gay jew,Buddha alkee,
Agent Lunch,
For we are no better.
Personally,
Been raised by woman,
In there works,
Need wild Intel.
Abstractly man,
Baby.

     IV.
Arrogantly, Once,
Proclaimed, I was
The beats reincarnate,
Madman's conciseness,
Now, Have to be.

Anything Is Possible

Where did you come from?
Every ancestor you ever had, had to beget with who they begot.
If any link in the chain begot with someone different.
If someone turned left instead of right.
You’d not be here today.
By being here today you won the infinity lotto.
Or
Some say this place we exist in is just one of many.
They say in fact the number of realities existing in parallel is infinite.
Different links in different chains, infinitely so.
It was, therefore, inevitable you’d appear in at least one.
Or
You, your soul, your spirit, your conciseness is eternal.
Moving though different realms of existence for any number of reasons. Maybe you have much to learn before you arrive.
Maybe immortality gets dull and boring.
You live finite packets of reality infinitely with no connection to keep things fresh and interesting.
Or
Maybe something else is going on.
A finite mind can’t know all the infinite makes possible.
Since you can’t know what’s possible, anything is possible!

Premium Member I Surrender My Soul

I am not afraid of dying or what lies beyond Death.

Some may question why I have no fear,
Until they understand that I am a soul;
Released at the time of my death.
Realizing the truth of this,
Entrenched my spiritual convictions.
Now that I am older, I accept that
Death is an inevitable certainty.
Everyone dies, but Jesus spoke of a spiritual
Resurrection, once Death releases us from mortal flesh.

My beliefs will guide me past Death's door, where I'll
Yield to God's love and judgment as a soul.

Suppose for a moment, there was no God,
Our existence, our conciseness, would all be for naught.
Until we accept we are souls, we are spiritually blind;
Look beyond the reality of now; look through the eyes of faith.

Words That Lack Meaning

Servants of enlightenment, do not confuse thy will of thine eyes. For upon you lies a deceptive malice. Fortitude of thine ears deafens your malicous tone. Longevity in thy words escapes thy logical conciseness. Delude thy dreams on spheres of flaxen gold. For my words lack meaning. Silvery beams of moonlit swirls crescent the mind of the weary guest, for indulgence is rampant. Questionable plees. Run beside me O foreign ground and plot your way of life. Distilled in my mind is the wine of your concepts. Treacherous words form from the froth of conscious indecision, though beautiful are their play. And I wonder is there any meaning to be found? Surely the pen entangels the soul. Delve deep into sheets of pulpified wood. Giving glory to thy hearts of the counseled grace. Spinning spirits of indignation before the helplessness of the blue eyed demon. Rot in your love of foolish scutiny. Foreshadow the absence of thine own meaning.

Essence of Love

Loves waves crashes on the shores of my heart.
Mists cool me from failures scorching heat.
When you are around the tide rises and changes where my hearts shore start.
Where the end of loves ocean begins and that its depth start to go deep.

I want to awaken to you and know that love now has no end.
It is only outlined with the failure left in the horizon.
Emotions dance across the water in the same way in which the sea gulls ascend.
As the waters glistens in the sun.

Loves Paradice..

The paradise I speak of is only capable because of you.
It is created through my wantto call you my baby.
I lie down at night and it breaks downmy conciseness view.
Overtaking my nights dreams and my days fantasies daily.

You are my loves paradise in which my heart lives.
In which it thrives.
In which it wants more. More of you.

Loves tide begins and my hearts limits end.

Premium Member Is Not This the Brevity of Human Life- -

Is not this the brevity of human life?
In my conciseness and exacting mentions
The proper use of words in my writing or speeches, huh
In awe, at naught-what
Is not this the brevity of human life?
While filling my mind of redundant thoughts
Conciseness What, Concision Why,
Succinctness Yes,
Is not this the brevity of human life?
Economy of the stock market crashes the economy clashes raise more taxes , huh!
Language skill, consciousnesses, shortness IRS you either do or don’t pay your taxes;
Briefness stills faithful wills,
Pithiness jaunt, pith, incisiveness skills,
Is not this the brevity of human life?
Crispness words rips truths and lies spills;
And we're all compactness together,
And we shall compression compactness, compression forever (huh);
Laconic, terseness, pointlessness, curtness, abruptness; (what)
"This verse notable for its clarity and brevity"
Shortness of time, why;
"This verse is or isn’t the brevity of human life"
This verse	shortness, briefness, transience, What
It’s transitiveness, ephemerality What!,
Impermanence Huh??
Is, is not the brevity of human life-Huh
What is not this the brevity of human life?
Is not this the brevity of human life?
