On Attack: a Rainbow Six Siege Poem

On Attack: A Rainbow Six Siege Poem
By: Jacob Wallihan

Time to prepare
The drones are on the field
Rolling right towards
The building called “Coastline”
Callouts for the position of the bomb
Not Kitchen
Not Bar
Not Billiards
It’s Penthouse
Spotted the enemies
2 Roamers
Caveira and Ela
3 Anchors
Pulse, Mira, Rook
All spotted picking up
Rook’s Armour
Drone’s all shot
Pick the spawns
Pool is mine
Let’s Go
Spawn in
3 minutes on the clock
A 5 man squad
Montagne with Blackbeard
The hard breachers;
Hibana
Thermite
For Intel: Lion
Enter the building Hibana
Through VIP window
Frag the Ela
5 v 4
Montagne
With defuser
Walks into Guitar
In doorway to Penthouse
Blackbeard watching Monty
Sees the Rook
Reacts late
4v4
Hibana places a claymore
VIP hallway
Runs back to window and vaults
Lion activated “Big Brother”
Hibana rushes past Monty
Lion
With grace
Bounds through bathroom hatch
With Hibana
Picks off Rook and Mira
4v2
Monty smokes
Goes for the plant
C4 below
Sends Monty out the window
3v2
Defuser down
Thanks to Lion
Pulse
Activating the claymore
Flies into the courtyard
3v1
Caviera
Running quietly into theatre
Downs Lion and Hibana
Throws a hail mary
Monty doesn’t react in time
Cav gets the defuser
Over the coms
“OPFOR disabled our defuser”
“Mission a failure”

Roast of Rhyme - Rhyme Schema

I am trying to relate to the strategy of rhyme,
Using words to titillate from the droll to the sublime.
Do I write "a rime that scintillates" to describe a ghost
Of frost? I consult the information highway hosts
Who assimilate rhyme-chimes on internet dot coms,
Those prime verse doctors granting aid so poems do not bomb.
I'll create a word-dance show to equate a tango's flow,
So solitude and fortitude and quietude must glow!
These multitudes of disciplines provost my attitude;
Will you, for faulty demeanor, please grant me latitude?
My aptitude to mutilate (a crime I must not boast.)
Is like a marmalade of brine upon my morning toast.
I ventilate and, then, deflate my inmost certitude;
This grime will grow in plenitude, a naughty turpitude.
I'd rather ev'ry word I post would jubilate the coasts,
Mime the scent of thyme about each lyrical outpost.
This roast of rhyme will blow ego and have me eating crow
If I don't quickly disappear, you know, vamoose and go.

I Like Clothes

I like clothes
Someone makes them
Another places them on a rack,
No buttons to push,
You can even take them back.
No dot coms to remember,
Or passwords to crack.
I like clothes.

I like clothes
They may hang on you like a sack,
But you can depend on basic black,
Don’t have to spend hours with a geek,
When all you want is a human to speak.
I like clothes.

Le Vacance Pretentieuse: Your Favourite Tv Programmes, Now Even Less Understandable

Gargling, a gargoyle’s groan gulps
From the bilingual blackness of TV,
A clockwork advertisement pulps
Knowledge into your worn mind free
Of charge. Nothing but gobbledegook
Everywhere, an insistent humming bee
And you just volunteered for the hook.
You can’t understand it, but still can see

That it’s appealing. Someone wants it.
We now return you to your film with Mr T,
But subtitled. There’s nothing to do but sit,
enjoy – all else is static - and sweatily agree.
Your mind is a sad wastebasket of re-runs;
Rom-coms galore, dubbed films about keys,
Action films with loud explosions and guns.
Poor translation aside, I enjoy foreign Telly.

Text At Lunch Time

rushing bytes that nip and nick
demands of time to check and tick
a phone that rings and message that brings
a call me ... urgently
a pad to hold and touch and take
do other things to type and calls to make

To stop and smell a rose or flower that brings
Its own winter pine – never
To stand and gaze at wonder at the sky – never ever
Or smile to passerbys and recount a passage or tale of the day
Never – there is no time
My mind is gone to bytes

My battery died today
I froze and stood in the way of rushing bytes
By others that did not stop
Or stare or smile
They tapped and typed
With coffee and wiped away the frothy
Mouth that never spoke a single word
My Mind calm – its track stopped,
Was there panic – where to go and who text
Where’s my emails and the rest of giffs and jaffs
Of pgns and paffs of coms and co’s
Oh give it up and sit and watch the world go by
Smile, breath, think.

The Clicker

The master of the living room
‘Cause I’ve got the clicker
My children, to my tastes shall groom
‘Cause I’ve got the clicker

They storm around, they scream and shout
They act as if they’re al put out
They whine and moan, complain and pout
‘Cause I’ve got the clicker

Procedurals, I won’t partake
‘Cause I’ve got the clicker
Network news lies and berates
But I’ve got the clicker

Adventure tales, I am a fan
Better sit-coms, I can stand
But mostly I steam on broadband
When I have the clicker

Reality, thy grind at me
So I grab the clicker
A stress release, so great the need
So I grab the clicker

To reset faith with simple tales
To restore peace amidst travails
I rarely feel so week or frail
When I’ve got the clicker.

Tempest By Ron Porter

in silks and satin,? ?she coms to me
fire in her hair?; ?moon in her eyes
perfumed neck,? ?and wrists,? ?and thighs
and soft sighs fill the shadows
when she shakes loose her tresses
and her pastel,? ?pink kimono
flutters to the floor

there is hunger in her kisses
her shoulders taste like apple wine
she whispers as sweetly as angels sing
caresses as gently as a butterfly wing
music humming in my fingers
magic strikes,? ?like the first flash
of lightning in a storm

she moves like waves upon the sea.
as does a clipper ship ?,? ?i ride the swell
slient thunder about us roars
flesh forgotten as spirit soars
then,? ?in the after tempest calm
one quick promise?; ?and she is gone
I know she'll come...? ?again

Life On a Stormy Sea

Hours of stressful birthing was an arduous task.
From Mother's waters I was pushed and drawn.
Since then, I've wondered, is it too much to ask
for a gentler method for a child to be spawn
then to be tossed into the stream of life to bask.
I paddled on a stormy sea yelling, "Bring it on!!"

I soon learned to accept the wisdom of Donne's,
'No Man Is an Island.' My choices took a toll on me.
I traipsed on stepping stones; watched setting suns.
Shorelines held no appeal, for I belonged to the sea
Life was a series of rom-coms and dramatic reruns.
I felt like I was homeless, floating in life's debris.

I swam with the ebbing tide, seeking a placid shore
where my hopes and dreams would not drift away.
I yearned for this, and something worth much more,
a heart bound with mine until our hair turned gray.
Are these few trenchant things too much to ask for?
If not, I'd be complacent any where and every day.

Premium Member That Which Makes Me Smile

From a reddish horrifying gloomy cloud which brings upon a frowning
beast~ I shall overcome and finally a smile shall bring me peace—poet :)

                 Smiles are weapons against pain
                 Armor protection for depression or hate
                 Diffusers for an opponent’s attack
                 Antidotes of dopamine and cortisol
                 Smiling eyes are the windows to the soul
                 some say, yet smiles can be deceiving
                 A player uses his charm that sweeps you away
                 An enemies leer stirs unspoken innuendos,
                 mouth is smiling yet dead eyes defy
                 A ghoulish grin denies it's upside-down smile,
                 scornful cinnabar smears, spanning ‘cross the lips
                 from cheek-to-cheek as fingers paint
                 when tears deny a petulant pout
                 ‘Tis what makes me frown
                 What makes me smile can be admired in;
                 Arts colorful paintings, ancient and new
                 Fashion Design, Egyptian hieroglyphics
                 Poetry, witty with a bit of whimsy
                 humorous Limericks with mindful tricks
                 Animals and a child's innocence
                 a baby’s giggle, a kitten’s purr,
                 a puppy’s warmth, a bird’s chirp
                 Musicals songs, Movies Rom-coms
                 Theatre recites, the Opera excites
                 Dances that mash up with Western music, high energy
                 fusion of styles global, multifaceted technique
                 Bolly-Hop, Disco-Funk, Tap! Is sheik
                 Music's nostalgia, classical is golden
                 Nature's moonshine, sunshine, a stolen starry night
                 Red bourbon rosette, blue violet, fragrance flowers
                 From land to Ocean, to the crystalline sapphire sea
                 Food and drink, Antipasto, mint Iced Tea,
                 Tapas and Sangria, Hors d’oeuvres and cognac
                 Finally and most of all what makes me smile?
                 Love of life, so free-spirited, it gives love back

An Ode To Theatrebreaks Dot Com

There are many websites to help you
When a theatre break is what you require
You can go to London or Stratford
Book a three star hotel or much higher

So without all the dots and the dashes
the cos the coms and the nets
Here are the names you’ll be wanting
when you want to book a show next.

The most popular are Theatre Breaks in London
Folks book them in their legions
But Breaks in Stratford-Upon-Avon
Are popular in the regions

If a theme is more to your liking
Then it’s Musical Breaks you seek
But opt for Theatre Weekends
If you don’t have time midweek.

And if you have a hankering for royalty
A yen for Jubilant Celebrations
A Royal Break will be just the ticket
In a range of regal locations.

For Just a Split Second--- Then Poof Gone

Here as time
as we know it
everything is
going so fast
one moment... here
then next...
poof.... tis gone
Nothing lasts..
Except for Eternal Life
With Our Savior Jesus Christ

I must say...
As I had seen
Your sweetness coms...
Heart shining with Love
Beholding charm..
Sweet as Sunshine
To my heart from yours
As mine expresses tis same...

then as I had another write
went to post.. it tonight
but then poof... it was gone..
my write of "My cup runneth over"
the one your sweetness
 commented Tender heartedly
upon my heart...
Sweet treasures
now tis... within my mind
of What you said...
to my heart...me...
for that split-second of time...

For just a Split second...
Tis all it takes...
Moments are gone..
For some shall be
their fatal mistake..

For Now tis time
Please those who not know
Jesus Christ
Time is now
To ask Him into your heart
Into your lives

Come please those who not know
Please come to Jesus for He
It The Way... The Truth.. The Life
The Only way to go..
Jesus is the Giver of Life
Come be Born-again...
Before this split second of time
            is

                Poof...
                         Gone...

Where are going to be for Eternity???
When your Time runs out here on Earth

God's Glorious Garden of Love

As I walk in the garden
Down winding road
Through the trees
I see before me...
Beauty everywhere

Flowers in the midst
Trees standing strong
By the river
As I looked around
I noticed
Someone Special was looking at me
                                                         YOU!!!

As I ran to the Garden of Love
Brushed by loves colorful reasons
With the Gift of Love
Knowing that tis be
Truth shall set us free..
Love unfolds..
Power within..
God’s Beautiful Grace
Tis for “You & Me”
Beholding Beauty

Come to Jesus

`````````````````````````````````````````````
As I am not sure why...
but as my write disappeared
Many Hearts posted coms
Of Beautiful Treasures in my com-box
Tho.. I lost you Precious Treasures
Thank you for your gracious words...
Much Love & Warmth
As You read my writes
I read yours
Within our hearts
Tis Enchanting delights
Forever more
Reading each others coms..
Feelings deeep within hearts
Want to beholding
Within Each others arms
Enchanting moments
Wish upon a Star
Wish a may..
Wish a might..
That I Come through this computer
For You to be..
holding.. me tight
Smile..
Only if there was a way
that this could be
As I would love..
As I see..
you would Love too..
For this to be
Just to be
Out of this computer
Into your Sweeet
Tender-Loving arms
Beholding Each-other
True Love endures
Hearts.. Dancing.. night away
Sweeet.. as Heaven
Beholding True Love..
Shall Always Stay..
Just to see.. you smiling at me
To hear your sweeeet voice
Just to walk.. to run
Holding hands.. Sharing.. Caring
Fun-Laughter.. Romance
Spending time..  Our Hearts
Loving in the sun
Staying all day together
Then Dancing the night away
I wish.. could be
Out of this computer
and then able to be
With-In Your World
As I know.. You Wish too
I don't know when
I don't know how
something God only knows
As we watch and see
Someday shall be
Out of this computer
Within Your World
As You be within mine
Sweeeet as Heaven all time..
Forever holding on
As You.. my Darling too
Wishing upon a Star
God allows us to be
Within this world
Together..
Blessings of True Love
Forever-lasting
God Only Knows.. the Times..
Smile.. Darling.. I Love You.. your Fun-Loving Heart..
Ever so True..
Premium Member Bitter Winter In The Midst Of Summer
As the world spins
And our feet stay on the ground
How many other broken-hearted lonely souls
Live life in limbo
As me
Lost in a sea of misery
The pain makes tears fall
An empty bed
No valentines
No love notes
Shared sunrise
But we see the sun go down
Every night
No butterfly kisses
Tenderness or care
No welcoming warm arms
No eyes to lose yourself in
And see them smile
At you
And say I love you
No one to hold your hand
No one to listen
No one who understands
The Unloved Child Inside a Man
No one to care
No one to share
The love songs
Tell lies
The rom coms
Conceived fantasies
Six Billion people in the world
Many women and girls
And you can't even get one
Missed the boat
Kills you a little more each day
And only a good Woman or Girl
Can take it away
Heal the wounds and sores
From the ravages of onesided wars
What's the point of clinging on
When there's nowhere to cling on to
And hope is nothing but a slippery slope
And you can't cope
You display your colours
But no one takes no notice
They are blind
Not exploring your heart
And mind
Time travels on
But your life stands still
Flowers never bloom
Birds don't sing
And the rain never stops
The world still spins around
With you
Or without you
Life goes on.
