now ...

dance for me …
eyes of polished onyx pierce
me like the keen edge of a scalpel,
deftly wielded ...
the blood of my black
heart flowing in and around you,
warm and welcomed to your
wings and wants ...
the aspiration of our spirits -
charged air between us as still as ruin,
while the world spins outward,
ever a cacophony of color ...
calm coalescence in a
realm of chaos,
airborne and harmonious,
transcendent, if only ephemeral -
if only once ...
I am your vessel, awaiting,
I am your barre,
to stretch and strain upon …
I am the adoration in your hush,
and the dark feathers of your plume ...
I am rapt in awe by
such immaculate and lithe form,
destroyed wholly by the feral,
flawless grace of your
movements ...
I am devoured by the
ferocity and exquisite finish of your
line and flow 'en fouette' ...
it is the anger and
complete abandon in your
expression that at once terrifies me
and slays my sullen spirit -
that brings all that
is demoness to your passion,
and all that is angelic to your erotic ire ...
spellbound by the sway,
I plummet into your soft shadow,
and let your ebon wings
surround my delirium ...
an aphotic interplay of souls, a forbidden
allurement of fierce, fluid figures,
a carnal and concupiscent
'pas-de-deux' of fury -
dance for me ...

now.

The New Jerusalem

THE NEW JERUSALEM

THE FIRST STANZA
Have thou ever seen such a concordance?
A new relation between man and beast
For beyond these hostile hills lies a place where the boisterous Bacchus feast
Imagine the fruits of Adam grow on a common tree
Where all would merry, ebony and ivory
Slave and free
Imagine the seven rivers meet at a widen strait
For today good has triumph over evil
Love burns up hate
The New Jerusalem is not a truce between Zion and Arabia.
Nor is it the fall of another great wall
It is not the end to man’s vicious battles fought with monstrous infernos, sulphur and thunder
But it encompasses all

THE SECOND STANZA
Have thou ever seen such an enterprise?
Where the stars would rejoice
For the lachrymal clouds would start to sing and dance at the slightest hearing of the voice
Oh! Pure ecstasy! Elysium devour me please
For a lamb has made it so
Imagine a land replenished with trees, gardens and lakes
Where untold pearls and diamonds grow
Imagine the Pandora’s box once unlocked now thrown into its abysmal grave
For a thousand pieces of silver, gold and mace
Is no equal to the deeds of the brave
The New Jerusalem is not the new –found romance between Babylonia and the Eagle.
Nor is it the coalescence of Prussia
It is all that is said and will be said
And not the rebirth of Russia

Life On Mars

One day a pale star began to glow
in scarcely-noted nebula where it swirled.
And this five thousand million years ago,
to bathe in light a distant, dusky world.

Lightning streaked amid primordial dawn—
stroked a soupy mire of mute quintessence.
Diverse concatenations urged a spawn
and coaxed life into coalescence.

A hive and every mind within related,
yet diverse and mild in their expression.
Collectively their members liberated,
verisimilitude their progression.

Myriad were their subtle variations.
Legion were their specialties outlandish.
In unison they laid a world’s foundations.
Limitless the skills they had to brandish.

But in Mars' core, dying breaths were taken;
fury from creation’s fires abated.
Absent these, Ares was forsaken—
magnetic lines of flux truncated.

The shield from radiation thus destroyed,
innocence’ pogrom bitterly ensued.
Air swept away forever to the void,
sentience vanquished—majesty subdued.

Iridescence and subliminal flow has condensed within your fragrant bower,
a scene of isolated beauty that portrays the essence of all splendour and redeeming
power.

You are repose and renewal to my longing soul
which in hunger for such a sight could have stayed unrequited still!
barren and with plighted role unto my desperate ill.

Now seen suffused in the radiant glow of you, like mirrors
are placed surrounding flowers inset in your resting place or in bunches,
frieze like and still, are coloured floral showers.

They experience no passing hour, in lilac clad repose, you gift this domain
with abundant russet locks a’ spray in a cascade of feral purity
shining vibrant gleams, diaphanous and serenity proclaimed.

You exude ephemeral and delicate majesty in coalescence
with this limpid mystic scene, pure spiritual visions profound combine
with siren-like illusion seen.

Desire calls as from traces etched on heavenly walls,
reflected pinions fan-like show through emerald hued illumination
in subtle sweeps below the surface of this inviolable creation.

Only In You

Through the lonely woods, I may head,

Upon the autumn leaves, I may tread,

At the secluded horizon, I may stare,

And only you, I may see,

In those symphonies of silence,

In those melodies of calmness,

In those euphonies of quietness.

By the silent lake, I may lay,

Till the twilight fades, I may stay,

Then in reclusive silence, I may walk,

And only to you, I may talk,

Through those toungueless emotions,

Through those wordless attachments,

Through those voiceless sentiments.

In the lone meadow, I may wander,

Along the untrodden paths, I may waver,

In companionless seclusion, I may hide,

And only in you, I may find,

The depths of oneness,

The bonds of togetherness,

The cozy feel of coalescence.

In the wilderness of emotions, I may die,

At the merciless daggering, I may sigh,

Through a million wounds, I may bleed,

And only in you, I may seek,

The balm of love,

The warmth of affection,

The heal of inseparability.

' An Aura of Light, So Bright ! ... '

I Gathered The Aura Of Light Around Me
The Aura Of Light, Softly Surrounds Me
An Aura Of Light, So Bright
I Closed Eyes To View Sight …

Premium Member The Nature of Poetic Change

I aspire for a flight of magnificence
though the words at times reek of innocence.
Yet striving to create a renaissance
in form which will not require penitence.
I boast of overcoming pestilence
in manipulating verbal reticence
to overcome loathing of quiescence,
which in a sense is the essence
of any poem of mental brilliance.
Aspiring to poems that soar in evanescence,
a luminescence of fluorescence in abundance.
The presence of acquiescence a deterrence
to obsolescence of obeisance in appearance.
The absence of pseudo credence and conformance
to the quintessence of acceptance of senescence,
in poetry, assures defiance of decadence,
and a deterrence of annoyance in articulence.
Yet the arrogance of old heads holds coalescence,
the decidence of some form’s discontinuance.
The annoyance and inconvenience of their defiance,
keeps their belligerence in convalescence.
Their exaserbescence akin to adolescence
in nature, they think obstinance is a virtuence.

As Newton found an apple
As Einstein used his mind
In Leonardo's genius
So art and science combined

When Chaplin tugged at heartstrings
Or Mandela called for peace
A common theme unites them
Such that hope would never cease

Teresa shows compassion
Or Rosa Parks stays put
An inner door is opened
That may never now be shut

Keller's inspiration
The bravery of Anne Frank
So many souls unlisted
We should take some time to thank

These people never settled
For the current status quo
Confelicity, coalescence
Or a child-like need to know

We can learn from their example;
Dedication to a cause
Persistence in adversity
The human soul adores

The innocence of believing
The faith of pushing though
The mighty and respected
Were once like me and you

Coagulation

Finally, my blood began to coagulate,
Flowing like insomnia
Between the wounds of dawn and dusk
When wounded memories drip pools of enigmas,
Fleeting gossamers of absolutes,
Drying into sticky puzzles.

Bloodied dreams wander labyrinths,
With no exits,
Leaving spatters of millstones
For ruminating relics to follow,
Thin images of wispy encounters
Fade
In lost chords of words,
Ghosts gel from gashes.

Impostors of reality
Spit rebellious clots into ruminating plateaus,
And phantoms,
To leave a crimson stain
On unwelcomed daylight and martyred Mondays
Stirring penance from clotting confessions.

Tourniquets unbound,
Veins transfused congeal in coalescence
As platelets and corpuscles gather yesterday
Into the flow, a cadence, blood pressure restored,
The pulse of reminiscence throbs
Memoirs course through venous vessels,
Then seek a place
To dream.

Premium Member Flies In My Head

My mind coalescence into a mush
Flies of the past reeling to the present
My used head doesn’t want to give a push
Only the butterflies leave such a dent
The fields of the lost mind are very lush
Doesn’t show progress that others have lent
My head is swarmed with little bugs, mildly
Showing the pain and tearing directly

Shining with allure
in psychedelic brilliance.
ruby, emerald and azure
coalescence glow,
iridescent mysteries

light writhing in dance
swiftly they come and they go

flirting with the sky

A Chip Off the Old Writer's Block

Strikes relentlessly thrashing
     (from all points
     encompassing me) assigned
unforgivingly, vehemently,
     witheringly, blind
ding figurative sight, then
    I finally craft a title,
then subsequent lines

     of poem (or prose) defined
incumbent to pay
     proper obeisance deigned
then once a thread bare
     theme more or less defined
unleashing skein of thoughts,
     (that barrel thru
     muss hike key)

     utterly entangled,
     enthralled and entwined
rather then panic, a series
     of deep breaths
     decompresses,
     deemphasizes, and diminishes
a near futile attempt (thwarting captivity,
     futility, and impossibility) to find

even just a faint coalescence,
     essence, and furtherance
     pitting ma small nose
     to the metaphorical grind
stone calmly try
     to temper onslaught
     of tsunami like brain storm,
     yet no matter

     how fast fingers type,
     a sinking sensation,
     sans pursuit to process
     this tidal wave sets me
     further be hind,
this faux
cat and mouse game,
     which forces bust

ting thru out this scribe
     demand to answer himself
     with minor expletive,
     viz cheeses crust
why the ƒ¨ç° must
     this doggone eventual dust,
when staking claim
     on literary fame and fortune

     will no doubt entrust
yours truly to pauper's grave
     (if lucky enough
     to garner gofundme monies
or not bother, and consign
     any viable anatomical
     parts of this
     well kept body fussed

over with copacetic delight,
     holistic insight, and magic night,
     where a strong gust
of wind doth suffuse dreamy state
permeating mine subconscious,
     where inexplicable

     exemplifications doth leap
and prance, while aye
      obliviously repose in deep sleep,
which may be the condition
     of an unsuspecting reader,
     whether an generic
     guy or...a Veep.

The Coalescence

In present days and times
Of twisted wit for dimes
Where many have lost their highest priority
Just for that which is vanity
Neglecting our master's will
Of love, trust, and goodwill.
Even in this earthly walk of contention
Men have lived with deceit and pretension
But every soul in itself knows of a day to come
Where we all want of valued substance to become.
So, our master deviced a way
For reconciliation and freedom for Alway
But for vain ambition and impudence
We reject this honour of a bright Coalescence
"Just to pursue vices and pervicatiousness".
In love, our master awaits our return
If our repulsiveness we will overturn
And turn onto the bright side
And with him have an aside .
Then after earthly departure
And at that crucial juncture
His love on our behalf will decree
An eternity of being whole and free.
