Consciousness Correction

Envy sneaks in unseen
A thief robbing light from my house of gratitude,
Sowing simmering anger, extinguishing thankfulness,
In blind yellowed views
Gratitude held captive,
Strangled,
Pennies of “I wish” tossed into stone cisterns
Where winter thrashes cyclconic -
Vortex of a gleeful witness to spring’s demise -
Dead-ends swell...

Be careful of how you think,
of its logic is how your rank,
sow, reap and weep,
lesser to be,
is frozen in time...

to be of the lesser fact,
is not all that it is cracked,
Mount up on heavenly wings,
it is the logical faith that be,...

The Last Supper of Hope

Grief has exhausted itself
And pain has abandoned the heart;
Emptiness now lives where joy
Once called home.

Our streets have become cisterns
Of blood—death quenching its thirst—
Flashbacks of the belly bowels of slave ships
Flying flags of crosses and crescent moons alike.

Hell remains without fury—never discriminating;
And...

You Inside Me
You are a heart
which enlightens the
road of love.
You are a heart
which makes love
live in the cisterns
of endless wells.
You are a heart
which sails in the
endless sea of love.
You are a heart
which makes
addictive untill the
dawn.
You are a heart
which makes flowers
bloom in my world.
You are a heart
which makes...

Sea Life
A dance of elegance they leap
in grace of movements sweep
moonlights skipping on the waves
upon the circuits the currents paves

A Spanish Dancer twirls her skirt
whose painted like a rainbows shirt
Your works oh Jah blanket the Sea
where creatures frolic internally

Where Leafy Dragons in Reefs foray
the clown fish...

Jaew
Goes in hot. Comes out hot.
But this may be more than the casual student
Will want to know.

Mom’s grinding chilies for me in Modesto.
Red, green, a dash of fresh cilantro,
Fermented shrimp sauce and a pinch of salt
Between her mortar and pestle.

Dabbing a sticky ball of khao...

Food For My Heart
Your hidden precious smiles
that selectively rain on my face
as water from heavens above
as drips from underground cisterns
the silver touch of your fingers
that paint secrets sensitivities on me
the face full of pleasure-shines
are delicious food for my heart
and drink for my hungry spirit
these secrets I...

Tulip: Symbolic Growth of Freedom In the Arab Spring
Along Iran's alluvial fan,
spanned a virgin, untested
train
A scourging blight the tender,
fecund suckers did restrain
A heartier tulip bloomed on
Tunisia's arid plain
A docile wave the royal
Jasmine blight to stain
Transplanted in Egypt; a more
fertile strain
Leaching the arid soil, the
tyrannical oasis...

Candle Silhouettes
For every beginning
Why must there be an end
Shadows creased where whispers cease
Memories bristling past me
like a Mediterranean love affair
Jasmine wisps of your unbridled hair
Brushing my face in waves of azure
Eyes locked so hearts could endure

The bed is made
But your impression is still there
Soft and tangible,...

Premium Member Listen Closely, My Son
So much to solicit, but with substance excluded,
she mimics intimacy, but leaves one secluded.
Flatteries slip off her tongue like honey's sultry sweetness.
"Come to this incensed bed for pleasure's soft caress."
Like a crafty serpent's spiel, her lips slither stellar speech.
Secure your spirit, flesh, and soul; she'll...

Made In China
I see a savior everywhere, I see
a prophet everyday, shining purple through the faces of
Teachers, Stockmen, Welders, Prostitutes.

Those halogens shine, pilot lights burning bright in
Cyan, Magenta, Hunter green and Mauve, stained-glass
saints made free from that flat and veined dimension.

Those are
Figurines,
translucent they bear before...

The Fountain of Living Waters flows,
Ready to quench our thirst,
Why do ye hew out broken cisterns?
Broken cisterns that burst;

Drink from the Fount and be satisfied,
It will become a well,
Water springing to eternal life
From your being will swell.

Flowing like a...

The Ruba’iyat of Créteil Lake – Part Four

Lovers stroll down her nubile spine blithely to pubic isle
Where under linden boughs and mulberry spread connive smile
Old and young keep parading swathed in bundles of fur wear
While children romp around on tri-cycles with befuddling guile

Hopeless
Your words hurt.
Heavens doors are shut.
The sorrows that assail me are like glut.
My wrists, I wish to cut.

Hopeless.
Empty lies my cisterns of joy.
In fuitilty I keep reaching out.
Hoping anyone will notice.

Look beyond my smiley face and emojis.
Look beyond the makeups I have donned.
For the mascara...

Broken Records Been Playing
Broken records been playing.
Playing there for your Pain.

They're played there
By the great teacher, Ma$ter No Name.

Where for art thou Blood Stain?

I'm the water of the mother of a New age
Day breaks,

only the chosen will be allowed passage
On the mother ship's baby carriage.
