Premium Member The Longings of An Old Man

I long to—
Walk one more time
To where the land ends, and the ocean begins
To listen expectantly for the sounds of infant waves
Grasping layers of golden sand
I long to—
Hear the fat gulls with white bellies
And ebony eyes
Floating on invisible wires
Calling for the savory morsels
Hidden inside the curled fingers of an old man
I long to—
Stand beneath the tangerine sky
Lazily descending into the cradle of the sea
Vacating heaven for the snowy celestial sphere
Hung upon Vincent’s starry canvas
Ten thousand lights scattered forever
I long to—
Be embraced by the tenebrous sea
Her loneliness engulfing me like lovers of yesterday
I long to—
Gaze beyond the past wrapped in sorrow
The years of trudging through cheerless mire
Searching for reasons without answers
Answers without questions
I long to—
Remember only moments worth remembering
A twirling montage of love and hope
And dreams
Of a time when two became one
Hearts pulsing in harmony
Minds ascending to tidal floods of ecstasy
I long to—
See your face
To walk hand in hand
To where the land ends and the ocean begins
I long to—
Do it all again

Premium Member Celestial Being

Beautiful angel a soul's destination flies
High above on gossamer wings delicately
Circling between heaven and earth as soul keepers

Eclipsing the light seraph twitches softly gaze
Touching inside one bond never to be broken
An angelic message shown to the earth dwellers

A celestial sphere nacreous spirit falling
Grace kissing ataraxia sweetly embraces
Deep spiraling sentiments shape mosaics of minds

Kneeling at your feet royal mother of pearl clouds
Standing right before the eyes undying spirit
Pure shafts of wondrous gold has lit the earth tonight.

Gracious beauty floats upon a breathless air wave
Delicately enchants your sweet rendering praise
Bright faces all rise up to such mesmeric glare

Heaven sparkle in the glistening shining eyes
Love's fire burns inside reflection that smiles warm
And all mankind with open arms can only stare.

Guardian of this cosmos beyond dreams sails east
we become a single structure bound together
In cosmogyral dance around a starry floor

In space filled words evaporating straight out sighs
The mind blissfully colliding sparks kisses dust
Gazing through an endless flickering mass of light

Sprinkles on two stars cluster in magic wishes
Granting on the trail ethereal red glitters
Heavenly energy shines down to save all souls

Diamond blue gem sends cosmic shock waves twinkling
Brightly flickering blinding light upon one star
Poured on our world to save us from evil darkness

Orbiting around this earth glows raising upwards
Filled with divine energy rotating halo
Beams fly in sunshine beauty embraces angel

Premium Member June whispers secrets

In a gentle slumber, where the moon takes flight,
I lay my dreams next to her this tender night
June whispers secrets, in a voice so sweet,
A symphony of stars, a lullaby complete

Underneath her breath, a hush so deep,
Where shadows dance with every leaf
Her eyes, like tangerines, aglow with light,
Seeking answers in the endless night

She wanders through the cosmos, lost in thought,
Searching for a grand design that's never been sought.
The universe unfolds, a mystery vast,
But answers elude her, out of reach, far-cast

Yet in the silence, I find solace,
In the rhythm of her heart, a tranquil pace
My thoughts become one with the celestial sphere,
A melody burning with cosmic seer

I dream of being the answer she seeks,
Of being the reason her heart beats.
To be the key that unlocks her mind,
To be the rhyme that's her life's design.

For she is wisdom, a truth untold,
a lesson I never learned when young and bold
through her, I see the beauty in the unknown,
In my chaos, there's a pattern she's unshown.

She paints with colors, not seen in daylight,
With each stroke, she brings me to life
Her artistry transcends the mortal plane,
In her presence, I am never the same.

And though our paths may cross only once,
our hearts entwined, our souls intertwined,
I know that I will never forget,
the love she drew in trembling lines

So I close my eyes and let this night,
envelop me in its gentle might.
I rest within her arms, secure and free,
The answer to her search, eternally.

When the Stars Aligned

Is life predestined? I ponder
Gazing up at the blue sky yonder
The alignment of stars in a certain way
Does favour and fortune our way sway?

Does Fate spin the thread of destiny?
Leo, Virgo, Scorpio or Gemini?
The constellation, the galaxy, the celestial sphere
Star gazing raptly with hope, awe and fear.

Heaven benignly smiles on the blessed few
Yet frowns on the rest. Unfair!! You argue
For Fate rages against this unfortunate lot
In a web of inevitability they are caught.

They toil and toil away in vain
Only to despair in sorrow and pain
Fighting their battles over and over again
Woe is life! Just to remain sane.

But oh for the favored lot, on luck they ride
Fate gently carries them across the tide.
What then befalls a person's lot
If against Fate he valiantly fought?

Fate, kismet, karma and kind
Astral influences on soul and mind?
Does Fate then our life destine?
To each an inevitable part assign?

Wings of Power

Is this world made only for males?
Even History talks about 'His' Story only,
But I am the creator,
The creator should rule her creations,
I am the Master of this magnificent world,
Not a slave or serf to the feudal men,
Power never goes with gender,
Your prowess lies only in your cognizance,
Facing Dictators for years and years,
I have learnt to write my own fate,
This domination and suppression for ages,
Has sculptured my thoughts sharp,
Though manist needles stitched my mouth,
And tied my tongue with despotic credo,
Nothing can stop my hubristic thoughts,
Never the dry winds can swallow the mighty ocean,
Denial of self respect is denial of life,
Why confine me to a scullery?
When you can eat why not cook?
When you can wear why not wash?
When you can force why not follow?
This celestial sphere is boundless,
Immense and unfathomable,
My dreams are same,
Measureless and undefined
Your arbitrary chains can never pull my aspirations,
When you curtail, an inch grows more,
Discrimination for generations,
Pricked by Rape, Dowry and Adultery,
Wounds and sores all over burn,
But never the heads of male chauvinists turn
From time immemorial I was ruined,
Female foeticide and infanticide always rule,
Tradition and custom hinders my way,
Antiquated and rusted walls erected all around,
My cry for freedom hardly touches the blind ears,
But the gravel hearted men always begrudges,
Disparages and denigrates me,
Am I so inferior in your eyes?
With my muliebrity I brought you to this world,
With my muscularity I can bring this world under me,
Who are you to reserve my rights?
Now I Emancipate myself from your clutches
My wings are wide and extensive,
They are not to flap and fan your royal slumber,
I wanna fly high,
Across the boundaries,
Reach those alluring skies,
And shout “ I am the most powerful creation of all”
I am The Women.

Premium Member I Dream of Andromeda

Aethiopia is a land of exquisite beauty,
Inhabited by a princess worthy of its charms.
And the king her father thought it his duty
To boast of her glamour in spite of envious alarms.
So the lovely Andromeda sitting on the shore,
Her long hair waving seaward in the salty breeze,
Has been chained to rock by vengeance heretofore.
But the brave Perseus arrives and her he frees,
After slaying the sea monster with a vicious gore.

Now Andromeda is the goddess of all my dreams,
Who reigns supreme in the celestial sphere.
Her beauty is yet unique in the heavenly schemes,
And can cause clouds and tempest to disappear.
If I for a moment neglect to confess her glamour,
Savage beast would roar her praise from lust.
The most ardent lover she forces to stammer,
Her charms makes their tongues unable to adjust,
For it is that womanly way she has with men to enamour.

The forests, streams and all of nature are her gift,
Since every creature with a heart she delights.
O God make me her Perseus and please be swift,
For she is my only dream on starry nights.
My brand is honed sharp to slay the dragon,
And the keys to her chains lay buried in my sack.
We will fly away on a Pegasus drawn wagon,
And sail the celestial ocean in a star guided yacht.
To toast life eternal, may I lift this star-studded flagon?

Premium Member Celestial Sphere

Celestial sphere, a moon of coral hue
an empress of my universe, it lies
so cloistered deep between the curtains, veiled...
serene and quiet till it's brought to life

when sought and fondly wooed, she starts to blush
and moves sedately out of hiding place
caressed and gently kissed, she comes to life
and pulses strongly, moon-like drawing tides

eclipsed is everything except her wish
to stir the tempest of awakening love
and when my ravished soul is on the brink
she brings release and lets the storm abate

you know her well; you know her every mood
and how she will succumb to loving play
this earthly sister of bewitching moon
abides her time until she's called to bloom

Premium Member Beneath the Blue Dome

"Looking back at Earth, I can't really describe how beautiful it is from
300 miles up. Looking down you can tell it's a planet. The sky is black. There's just a thin blue ribbon, what we see as blue sky on Earth.
You realize how small it is and how fragile the planet is. "

                                                   Quote by _ Astronaut, Mike Good . . .

me, a tiny speck
on Earth, beneath the blue dome
a celestial sphere of sky
ever changing hues
oh, just a thin blue ribbon
when viewed from deep outer space

beyond the blue sky
the sun, planets, stars and moon
and from my view bright rainbows
and white drifting clouds
but, although so beautiful
my Earth, is being destroyed

Premium Member Upon Remembrance of Things Past

When memories are memories long-lost,
and when infancy's twilight hides what feels
like lifetimes in half-dreamt dreams, sleep storm-tossed
     surrenders glimpses of childhood's ideals

now only half-remembered. It is these,
that I dislodge from my still obscure past
(existing despite the present's dis-ease),
before life as an outcast unsurpassed.

Like echoes from out of immortal time,
     mnemonic ghosts appear and disappear;
and now are fixed in everlasting rhyme,
writ on earth under this celestial sphere.

And since upon remembrance of things past,
my late innocence returns at long last!

Asteria and Theia

Asteria and Theia

(Asteria is the goddess of the night and stars and Theia is the titan sun goddess)

“I embody the darkness of the celestial sphere and the innumerable stars that dot my skies; she is the burning sun and I the dark abyss of evening. I spend my days chasing her radiance from abreast. For centuries I have cherished her yet I am never able to reach out and caress her luminous astral presence; her bright glow sustains all mortal beings- mercy and grace seep from her vivid spirit. Though I long for her to bring light to my darkness I know she would only destroy me; a forbidden love affair that will leave my soul scalded and singed- but still I follow her light hoping one day she will turn and anoint me with her tender graze - for that I would give my life.”

Exulting the Seasons

Spring is the most adored of all the lovely seasons,
its starts with blossoms, then ends with flowers;
in solitary landscapes the curious mind wonders
captured by beauty, it seeks the hidden mysteries!

Summer lets our sun reach the wondrous Celestial Sphere,
and standing over the extreme Zenith, it brightens everything;
sails and ships are seen in every sea and ocean glittering,
soothing breeze turns into a rapturous wind ready to interfere!

Fall has its own idyllic charm changing the green landscapes,
towards sunset they blend with the russet of the deep woods
unable to distinguish which is sky or earth that has no roads;
take an evening stroll and explore the bliss of sheer loveliness!

Winter is the bearer of calmness and profound reflection,
all the sound are hushed, even the farthest stars appear;
and who doesn't love this season of snow and redemption?
Look at the magnificent heavens, sigh to release each fear!

Premium Member Where Can I Roam

where can I roam where is home
the skies are dark with cloudy vibrations
sounds behind the celestial sphere there is a chill
sidewalks, streets, cold doorways
half open stores, partial windows
where is home turned into an old earth creation
ancient life in the skies bluegray and shinning heavenly stars
what blurs between reality and what lies beyond
I wonder at a strange and recovering life
existence the essential unity of all
where can we create home

Premium Member Beneath the Canopy

" The forests are my bones "

I find the beauty of shadows and shades
beneath the canopy painted in dappled light
from the glorious glowing spokes
  of a celestial sphere
that creates an elegant twilight realm

where my spirit is held captive
by the warm arms of changing hues
that comforts me in a quiet solitude
  of reverence
as I walk the untrodden path

where limbs float on the wind
allowing sunlight to wash across the forest floor
like a glittering fragmented tide
to warm wild berries and ferns
that peacefully lay between the thickets
that stretch through the emerald forest
  of standing trees
that my heart and soul...call home

Silence in Night

I see the beauty of splendid light of shooting star
         in silence of night
         looking bright.
dazzling charm of flash by explosion of meteor.
         Its fall
         can call
         rare but occasional natural disaster.

I dream beneath canopy of celestial sphere
to which billions of galaxies can adhere
        Night is silent.
        It is linient
        to say,
        God may
be neither He nor She, just Universal Power

I sink in vastness losing my nuclear identity
I try to realize everlasting eternity.
        Night remains silent,
        My heart beats vibrant.
        My soul
        can roll
on eternal time owning immortal entity.

Supernatural Energy flows ceaseless on Universe,
showing spectacular fantastic nature in diverse.
       Silent night allows to think,
       as stars twinkle and blink
       I vow
       and bow
to God as Moral Values to put in prose or verse.

From the core of my heart the melody I bring
to compose the lyrics on Eternal string.
      On the silent night
      I peep into deep insight.
      On choice
      I voice
my music and release my mind to sing.

Progressing Cascade Being Revealed

Graded ten out of ten in this crusade,
A progressing cascade that doesn’t fade,
Self-made, self-aware word engineer,
Deploying cutting edge concepts into the atmosphere,
Projected from the celestial sphere,
Today I appear, The first of May on this calendar year,
Shifting up a gear throwing nuclear bombs,
Destroying you all and taking gold, silver and bronze,
My mind is stronger than ya strong’s concordance,
Undeniably notorious and the wisest in this enterprise,
An allied movement,
Got the Oracle on my side bringing allegorical development,
Always in it to win, prudent as I’m in this,
A student with higher consciousness, bringing these hypothesis,
Scary like Newton’s theories with force of metamorphosis,
Effortless with divine providence because of self-confidence,
Believing spirits of Old Wise Men are my influences,
Or are they from Demons?
This is my dilemma, beaming from hell or heaven?
Streaming to my brains antenna,
An evil agenda or from a source higher? and put into this cypher,
Peace to the past generals as I desire what’s wiser,
This is in my will for after I’m gone and transformed,
Striking insight in written form, the advisor for all,
These thoughts I have called out for could maul you,
My views, with superior dialect matched with out-of-this world intellect,
Collected, dissected and selected,
Organized rhymes I’ve requested,
Like the writings of Genesis with emphasis,
Comprehended correctly will bring great benefits,
Deadly when read with no intelligence,
Venomous alphabet recipes I’m pioneering,
Bearing surreal appeal with these writings I conceal,
Because the majority of people are sealed within their socialist ideals,
So wake up to your own minds and see what’s being revealed.
