Beneath the Blue Dome
Looking back at Earth, I can't really describe how beautiful it is from 300 miles up.
Looking down you can tell it's a planet. The sky is black. There's just a thin blue
ribbon, what we see as blue sky on Earth. You realize how small it is and how
fragile the planet is. Quote, Astronaut, Mike Good . . .
______________________
me, a tiny speck
on Earth, beneath the blue dome
a celestial sphere of sky
ever changing hues
oh, just a thin blue ribbon
when viewed from deep outer space
beyond the blue sky
the sun, planets, stars and moon
and from my view bright rainbows
and white drifting clouds
but, although so beautiful
my Earth, is being destroyed
