Premium Member A World of Boundless Black

In my distal conception you shine like a lucent star
whose touch fondles the fret and strings of my guitar.
An image worth painting in oils with my sable brush,
your voice like the recherche love song of a thrush.

You are the faint break of day in dawn's somber skies.
A sanctum of refuge in times of angst and weeping eyes.
My ardent lover, seducing me with each lustful thought.
You are life's pulse beating rhythmically within my heart.

If I am blinded tomorrow, visions of you I shall not lack.
And if I were entrapped in a world of boundless black,
wavering shadows would not fill my heart with fright,
for with you at my side, I would not have need of sight.

No demands would I make, but humbly I would beseech
you to please make me aware that you're within my reach.
You are the assuasive waves that quell my restless soul
and I, a brigantine moored in the shallows of your shoal.

Aspirations, Boundless.

Planted firm in dirt
They reach out with open arms
To Heavens above.

Boundless Blue

Boundless Blue

Born in a misty rainbow,
Blue slips out from her place
between her sisters Green and Violet,
painting the heavens azure,
covering the earth like the robe of Virgin Mary.
She floats into the ocean in a navy dress,
then waltzes on waves of the Danube.
Sailing the teal waters of alpine lakes,
she journeys to glaciers,
leaving her daiquiri-colored footprints on glacial ice,
taking some with her to cool the fires of Robert Frost.
She treads into meadows and gardens,
planting delphiniums, lupines, hydrangeas,
bluebells, and cornflowers to sprout in her wake,
with morning glories to climb fences.
People copy her free spirit,
painting their china in Delft and willow patterns,
sing “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Blue Velvet,”
“Blue Moon,” “Blue Hawaii,”
even play “Rhapsody in Blue” on their pianos,
blow their cobalt glass, dye their denims,
even their ice cream and candy.
They try to capture her lapis, turquoise, and royal sapphires,
pressing them into frames of silver and gold,
hanging them on chains.
She smiles at their craftsmanship,
then saunters down the path to the forest,
seeming to sway to her own swingy music.
With only her blue tick hound trotting beside her,
she picks wild blueberries, savoring the tart fruit
as its indigo juice runs down her fingers.

This poem was inspired by Meenakshi Raina's "Optimistic Orange". That poem is a great example of how fun it is to write about and personify a color. I encourage the rest of you to try it!

Boundless Ripples

Boundless Ripples

Refulgent ripples by nourishing night
Waves of love by magnanimous moonlight
My soul sending signals to you in flight
Never reaching the end thru waters white

Within the pond of love releasing ripple effect
I breathe your breath as the waters reconnect
Boundless and soundless they forever reflect
Vestal vibrations of visions in loves resurrect

Thru endless time and wandering waters gold
Ripples that touch your heart and withhold
Before they turn to tears and undyingly unfold
Our bonding love that has broken the mold

Heavenly tides in realms of tendering twilight
Ripples of the Nile we journey in partible plight
Thru the Valley of the Kings a sculpturesque sight
Ripples of eternity enduring, as lovers flames ignite.

Premium Member In a boundless night, I slip through the veils of undefined time

In a boundless night, I slip through the veils of undefined time,
where I glimpsed you as a star lost in an ocean of abyssal dreams,
in a silk delirium of shadows dancing ceaselessly,
where the golden horizon melts dreams into dawn, like fire melting brass.
With hands that have never touched you, I reached out like a bird to the sky,
whispering your name, a sweet echo in the unknown air of the heart,
and when you came, like a breath of wind bringing spring—
I did not lose myself in wonder, but felt the fullness of eternity.
I just sighed deeply, like a spring finding its way to the river,
as if I had waited for ages to immerse my soul in your presence,
the moment your steps enter my waking world, like a dance of spirits,
like an ancient longing finally fulfilled, like a story told by the wind.
The essence of time unravels into strips of light flowing like sand,
and I, a silent witness to this secret meeting, become part of the story,
I feel how silence turns to music and how each sigh is an eternal verse,
and how each sigh transforms into an eternal echo, like a call from the depths.
On the edge of the dream, your outline rises like a banner in the wind,
as natural as the sunrise embracing the mountains, a new beginning,
and I, a traveler between two worlds, recognize you as a part of me,
that was never lost, only hidden in the shadow of desire.

The Boundless Questioning of Death

Are we born to live,
Or are we born to die?

Death's inevitable
So what's more to life

You can be rich as ever
Yet still afford to die

By every breath I feel approaching mine

What is the purpose, or the goal of this?
Is one judged by their holiness

But how to live a holy life?
When every night brings blackened skies

And even during'st the brightest day
When the sun is smiling away

There will still be a dark cloud, vision
Eventually approaching in the distance

Boundless- a Poet's Worth

Some might say speech is silver, but silence golden
But my tongue as a poet is resigned to speech,
Speech which bears not triviality of common silence
No, it bears not the triviality of the banter of the common man

My pen bleeds speech which awakens tyrants imbued with cold hearts of stone
To the consciousness of the humanity they abhor, for we are born equal
My pen bleeds stanzas which lend themselves as supporting pillars
To the weary cause of the common man,
Urging them not to despair but to fight on, for fortune favours only the brave
My pen bleeds the emotions which lie inert in the depths of my heart,
Emotions borne out of my will for a better tomorrow
My speech is the blazing sword which pillages the fortifications of social stratification

I do not mean to blow our trumpets
But as poets our worths exceed silver and gold,
It is boundless.

I Promise, a Boundless Love

Even if the rain falls.
The world won't flood. No more.
For I am now to shed a tear.
Of a wounded heart where you are here.
As long as the moon lights up the dark,
The fire of love will stay at heart.
If ever the rest might start to fade,
I promise to remain the same.
For my love for you is boundless.
No one can easily change, nor can easily ease.
And I promise, not to hesitate.
To visit you always at your grave.

Boundless Pastures

Boundless pastures, velvety green,
Between the forests there;
Sheep and shepherds, gujjars and buffalos,
Present a heaven’s scene:
Scarcely seen—in fog.
Sad soul! How benevolent is life there
And how hard in real.

Boundless Grace

BOUNDLESS GRACE

However great your trials
However great your troubles
However great the stress of life
However great the storms of life
Even though life seems hopeless
Or perhaps worthless
You might have looked left
You might have looked right
You might have looked
In every direction
Yet life seems so bleak
You have concluded
Beyond the horizon
Rays of hope appear
To bring the sunshine of glory
Beyond your imagination of gloom
The Savior’s grace is sufficient
In your state of gloom
The Savior is near
Nearer than you can think or imagine
In fulfillment of His promise
That He will neither leave you
Nor forsake you
Even in the worst situation
For His love is eternal
And His grace boundless.

''Boundless Energy''

Grasping the power of my persistence.
There will be no end.
Outraged,violated by sin.
Touched by the hand of hell.
I will not bend to his untimely spell.
Braced from disgrace.
Free my agony that I can't bare.
God grant love.
Limitless without compare.

Premium Member Boundless As the Ocean Blue

The puzzle of my hallow poetry
all the words a jumble
chaotic, formless, scrambled
an uproar unfathomable.

Deep are the caves perpetual I fall
searching for words eternal
poetry unfading and immortal.

Endless as the stars that glow,
and boundless as the ocean blue;
in a shambles, in a muddle,
until, the unveiling of the veil.

Despite the cacophony, I search
through the bedlam of words colliding.

And then, an apocalypse epiphany
the unfolding of a vision uncloaked
it was hiding down deep within
and now have spiraled up.

Endless as the stars that glow,
and boundless as the ocean blue;
in a shambles, in a muddle,
until, the unveiling of the veil.

I write with a madness and a fever
hysteria erupts in my mind
my thoughts a whirlwind of ideas.

Swirls of phrases multi-hued
a kaleidoscope psychedelic on paper
the pieces of my puzzle falling together
everlasting and everlasting.

Endless as the stars that glow,
and boundless as the ocean blue;
in a shambles, in a muddle,
until, the unveiling of the veil.

Endless as the stars that glow,
and boundless as the ocean blue, ocean blue, ocean blue . . .

Premium Member Boundless Love

The unlimited love,
With which, Thee, have showered us,
Oh Lord,
An inexhaustible source must become in
Our lives
From where our souls their compassion to
Draw
For
To love and to care for the whole of Thy
Creation
As
Thy everlasting law, in perpetuity,
Commands!
