Best Blizzards Poems

Oh, the All, the Blizzards Path
Oh, the wicked romance,
oh, the abusive dance,
oh, the self-destruction,
oh, the love that lasts.

All the wilted roses,
all the concrete slabs,
all the memories faded,
all the moments frozen in the blizzards path.

Oh, the wasted chances,
oh, the cherished romance,
oh, the resurrection,
oh, the kiss of death,
oh, the dance of...

Blizzards
Ever watchful,
the third man
and we knew
there was one
that
always followed on
behind

snow blind,
but able to see
the future paths
laid out for me....

Premium Member Fighting Blizzards
few headlights light the road
worried drivers headed to their abode
progress more and more being slowed
in hope of not having to be towed

not all that far to go
perhaps two miles or so
as dark sky drops snow
big flakes falling slow

snow above the ankles so cold
should have done...

Even blizzard alley

Monster blizzards...

Bustling corridors, places to go,

Make a plan, plot a course,
there’s an entire campus to traverse.
Other things are good to know,
like the best place for lunch
or where the wi-fi’s slow.

Last year there was lots of...

Premium Member Winter Overload
Winter bought rights to long life ~ in command
of blizzards, ice storms, unusable roads.
Iced windshields, snowmen--whatever's on hand.
Heat overuse caused great melt overload.
Alas, Winter thawed--and found he'd been snowed.

~Snowed, in this sense, means overwhelmed with lies,
taken advantage of~

Premium Member Skiing
Skiing steep sloped slaloms one snowy week,
Knowing my courses from every stark peak.
In whiteouts of bitter blizzards bleak
Which lacked hazards to frighten me to freak.
Nothing was too risky to stop my streak,
Getting ski heroes poled into a creek....
