Infantry

INFANTRY

At alert all day,
Waiting for the Marshal's orders,
To move into position against the foes,
Disintegrating into companies,
To launch their campaign.

Day and night on the battlefield,
Bullets raining the sky,
Reinforcements and air supports engaged,
Soldiers left hoping to come back alive,
But many died on the battleground,
And others injured,
Sacrificing their lives at the altar of victory.

As a sniper,
I said to a fellow soldier
''God gave me a special gift,
Made of fine instrument of warfare,
If He was to put me and my sniper riffle,
Anywhere up to and including a mile,
A mile to the arch enemy,
With a clear view of sight,
Pack your bags young men,
War is over''.

Soldiers Should Be Promptly Paid

Off was triggered a rebellion
And it was by a Battalion:
Troopers stampeding like stallion -
More than lost was Hundred Million;
Someone checked it: A Half Billion!

Some day might notch up, A trillion.
The contents of art Bank’s Bullion,
Each soldier’s stirred mind cast-iron
Of his own Devil – A scion…
I guessed what they’d stirred up-Trouble,
Whirlwind from sown wind reaped double!

Press I soldiers be promptly paid
And on Pay-Day nothing else said:
Money not paid shooting skills fade
Dues not settled like Razor Blade.

You don’t one turn An Avenfer;
He’ll be worse than A Scavenger.

Battalion Memorial

Upon the center, of the two paths crossing,

where green grasses, and trees, are being grown.

Is an memorial, for fallen soldiers,

whose existence, is recognized, and made known.

Long aside, an historic massive great battalion,

always there when hearing the nations call to fight.

Containing leaders and soldiers, talented and inspiring,

along with, the courage to go forth, with the battle, despite.

In association, are the fallen, with the present,

whom both have kept the allegiance, and heritage alive.

Each displaying characteristics of a true soldier,for one,

 to become, empowering new soldiers, soon to arrive.

Daphne Has No Plans To Cry

Daphne has no plans to cry:
She shall another man try:
Not The Old with hairs to dye
Nor One others think might die…

Asking she has been: Why? Why?
She never for once did lie
To Mac with his Spurious Love;
Mic Mac to Pranks not above…

Mac, who’d call her Animal,
Twelve Times just The Minimal

Daphne would not dare to wait
For another on This Weight
Nor would she for same sigh
The Voice for Sighs never high…

Now, Daphne for Rebellion
Of an Ill-Used Battalion!

One Battalion Fights For You

Y-our soul and your heart.

A-n early Tuesday comes,
N-ice day twenty-first February;
N-ew dawn has broken, bringing brightness and glory.

G-ood and organized group
O-f soldiers is in view;
D-enying the word of cowardice,
O-ne battalion fights for
Y-ou.

451st Civil Affairs Battalion

Permission for draft of requisition order
Civil war family heir
Destroyer class reconstructionism
Turn liberty up a notch for the western fleet
Fussy bonnet held us high

A destroyer class vessel is surplus
Afforded the documentation of drafting
Her pardon
Is not a priority
Abandon requires address

The 451 st Civil Affairs Battalion

The adjustment of languaging a building.
I come from this to you, as a published author of poetry books. In allowance of paper and address we aren't communicating for sun reasons? Limitations of equality?
