Best Baseless Poems
The steeples tower over our flags
Dissent is not allowed here
How dare you not say the pledge!
Shots ring out in the crowded halls
Our children fall; victims of the sickness
We awaken from fractured dreams of something resembling freedom
Our electronic opinions hang like public laundry on a line
Eyeless sheep file out of the pews and into the voting booths
And the gods recklessly direct baseless wars against ourselves

When we went to high school
We’d do best to fit in
And our popularity was measured greatly
By the number of our friends
We dressed up in the fashions
That everyone would wear
And only spent time listening
To the gossip out there
And our thoughts and our values
Would always be in sync
And our cliques controlled us
And told us what to think
And if anyone would deviate
From the usual, standard norm
They surely would be bullied
And undoubtedly be scorned
And now what does it matter
What is the current trend
Before it was important
And now it reached its end
And where are all the people
That we were influenced by
The ones that terrorized us
The ones that made us cry
They’re likely not accomplishing
As much as what they thought
And not absorbing everything
That their lives have brought
Renounce the uniformity
And need for assimilation
It leads to disappointment
Resulting in frustration
One time it was essential
And vital to belong
We now see its triviality
And this doth makes us strong
The burden of conformity
Can be baseless and be unkind
Stand out and trail your own road
Your existence’s great design

He opens learners’ hearts with the key of kindness;
passionately plant in them the seeds of success
and watch them grow in the garden of greatness.
Talk about a terrific teacher.
He wields words from the wellspring of wisdom
to water worm-wheat in the field of freedom...
and shield them from the throne of thralldom;
Talk about a terrific teacher.
He tells his students the lore of love and life,
and the right use of rocket, rifle and knife
to save them from baseless storms and strife;
Talk about a terrific teacher.
He wakes up each day with this golden goal:
To tenderly touch each pupil's spirit and soul,
and make their broken bones worthy and whole.
Talk about a terrific teacher.
He prays for each pupil to have an honourable heart,
out of which will flow the beauty of eternal art
so they can be sincere, sensible and smart.
Talk about a terrific teacher.
He is a mentor with a matchless mission,
practicing what he preaches with pure passion;
his friends are spurred to have a vibrant vision.
Talk about a terrific teacher.
When winter’s wool and whirlwind betide,
and the streams of life roar in stormy tide;
he gives warm words to guard and guide...
Talk about a terrific teacher.
Examination is not just a test of intelligence;
it is also a test of creativity and confidence...
his students enjoy inspiring independence.
Talk about a terrific teacher.
In poor pupils, he see a pool of great possibilities,
he teaches them to tap from the oasis of opportunities
springing in their desert of difficulties...
Talk about a terrific teacher.
Some folks are only interested in high income;
he looks out for inspiring inputs and learning outcome...
his job is to make the future bright and awesome.
Talk about a terrific teacher.

This year I'll relish every day,
Enjoy each hour as it comes by.
No part unused will get away,
No minutes worth will I deny.
How many left before I die?
I've spent my many months and years,
So carelessly without a thought.
Or wasted them with baseless fears,
Knowing recapture can't be bought,
Forgetting the lessons I've been taught.
This is the year of precious time
And filling every empty space,
The year I write the perfect rhyme
Contrived with such exotic grace,
I'll have my own exalted place.

You frown with disapproval since you have a pedigree.
Born in the USA, you say, ancestors crossed the sea.
Proud of your German heritage, and I am just a hick.
Your phony pearls, your knock-off bag, you always look real slick.
You treat me like I'm nothing with your nose turned up so far.
I'd rent that space if in the need of a place to park my car.
But a shiny cover does not value always quite equate.
I'm sure your "antique" silverware is only silver plate.
No, value comes from something more that's hidden deep inside.
It's born of love and empathy, not silly, baseless pride.
It doesn't come in just one color, an accent or a creed
Hitler was rich but I'd rather come from Cesar Chavez' seed!
So I'd rather have an ice cold beer with a gifted Mexican
Instead of drinking coffee in the cafes of Berlin!

I’ve been empowered to inform you that never again
Will I allow you to light the flame of rage or ridicule within
The walls of my very being.
Never more will you pierce the core
Of who I am and anything I’m seeing.
You are hereby vaporized before my eyes
Into the nothingness of forgetfulness
Which is less than having ever
Lived and breathed at all.
You are smaller than the memory of
Earth’s first turning like a blue-green ball.
Leave me now, you of such baseless insignificance
And return to the pitiful depths
Of your own self-centered, concentric view of who
You think you are and have always chosen to be:
A god among men, legend above legends
Living far beyond the realm of reality.
I see you now for what you really are…smoke
Rising into the night sky
Disappearing toward the stars…
Whose molecules and atoms are so minutely scattered
That collecting them would take infinite light years
To discover how little you mattered.
My only prayer for you is pity
Which is all I have left to give.
Farewell, your myth having been dispelled to the gates of hell
(If such a place exists for those few,)
Whose life was wasted on ignoring, degrading and attempting to destroy
The unquenchable and indistinguishable
Beauty, love and unbounded good graces of humanity,
Like you.

Donning upon all of those midnight flares
Marked assuredly by the baseless cares
Trespassing over the basics of wind
Smiling she gives chills to defining send
A sophisticated brightness of light
Outside the nipping nature of the night
Complexion of the evening enters me
Over the supreme moon’s sincerity
I collapse over the dream laden bed
Smelling the damp odor of hearts that bled
Maybe the moonlight can affect our hold
Heavy breathing envelopes us all cold
Burning my eyes by the gazing surprise
Secrets holding captive seeing them rise

The Dark Obsession - for contest
Horrendous thunderstorm of explosions
Dark clouds of the noxious obsessions....,
that we have more weapons; we fight for a cause
Malefic causes so senseless and baseless...
But paradox is, it appears noble for the offenders
Large-scale indoctrination of the young minds
for violence and ruthless destruction
Obsession of supremacy so dreadfully corrosive
Mad spree to hoard guns and WMDs,
Innocents or criminals, men or animals,
shudder with fear all that has life!
Collossal apocalypse of terror-waves ...
Atrocious erosion of moral and social fabric
Grotesque grimace at the principle of
universal brotherhood that underlies all our
holy scriptures!
Oppressed n' suppressed are the weak n' unequipped
Belligerent, pugnacious mindset mobilisation to bring
vitriolic ripping n' decaying of global peace
Peaceful waters turned filthy black with terror,
boils in the furnace to give to the globe a
shower of hot flowing blood!
Amicable contemplation to assassin this obsession
would bring no wars, no terrorism but peace!
Sustainable peace assured for the eternity!

Time is a fearful thing,
it can give and take in a blink.
My love for you came in an instant,
but now it's lost in the distance.
I remember when we first met,
both were nervous, hands drenched in sweat.
Lost in the moment, we embraced
and since then I couldn't leave your space.
We've stuck together through thick and thin,
fought our battles with groans and grins.
You were strong, and I was meek.
You were broken, and I was weak.
I fell for you, for God knows why.
You were quiet, and super shy.
It took you a while to open up
and that is after...how many break ups?
Nevertheless, I've loved you always.
Three years have passed, and for longer I'll stay.
Even though the path has always been rough
but I promise you I'll remain tough.
For my love is built upon baseless trust
and yours started off as purely lust.
I'll fight until you finally realize
that I just want you to grow and be wise.
But baby, my time is running short
ever since the night I left the airport.
Time has been more foe than friend
and eventually, our relationship will end.
Despite that I still believe
that one day I will receive
as much as I've given you these years
because I remember fewer smiles than tears.
So hold on tight, my darling, my baby boy
to my last glimpse of hope before it's destroyed
by that sad smirk, and glum glance of yours
when we have our cold little wars.
There's nothing left for me to say,
for these are feelings I cannot convey.
Even fate can't dictate our story
if you feel losing me is worth the glory.

My existence is incomplete I can't dream my world without you.
I can't produce a life hard task for me until you don't merge,
as a building is incomplete door and windows need emerge,
naturally i were born incomplete to complete a portion of you,
otherwise my entity is infinitive that 'll never be gone through.
I know the importance of embracing degrading is not my lore,
You 're my love factor I can't survive alone if I need to rise score,
My living is hopeless, desires are rootless, your assistance is true,
you made for me, I made for you but who made us for growth,
we are incomplete to complete a unite when we merge both,
No need to abuse each other as we 're the toys of time,
We feel pain when we break a heart, try to kill each other a crime,
Nobody is wise, a single person can't rise then why do we blame?
If a woman or man are complete argument is baseless no flame.

Greatest Fear
Arachne turned spider by curse of Goddess
to weave and weave non- stop as lifelong process.
Baseless fear of spider is a stupid mania,
scientifically termed ‘Arachne Phobia’.
Africa is the zone of primitive human being,
where dreadful poisonous black spider was wandering.
Into human genes intrusion of spider phobia
is more or less developed since long ancient era.
Mom, me, and all my siblings younger or older,
each is scared just by look of spider, my worst fear.
Once we stayed in a house encircled by tall trees,
spreading long branches to touch windows at ease.
Off and on spiders took chances to enter threatening me.
To kill by one stroke of broom was the duty of my hubby.
One day my little daughter rushed from dining room,
yelling ’Large spider is chasing me. Come with the broom.’
What to do! I felt so helpless, so scared of venom
I was alone puzzled and hubby was not at home.
No alternative, I had to be valorous.
Just by single stroke I killed the furious.

As a child you are a free bird
Playing hide and seek, here and there
Controlling a crumbling child is truly hard
So your mother cooks up threats of invisible monster
Your twinkling eyes may be fearless
Designed devil may drive your distress, high
Smile sprouting from your rosy lips may become baseless
But your mother breaths with a sigh
Your wrist may be tender
In a crowd, she may drag you like a handcuffed criminal
You may feel, as if things are out of order
But mother ensures your safety as cardinal
Your skin may be beautiful and fair
You may like to play in the open sun
To let you out, your mother may scare
Fearing your skin may get tan
Reading aloud restrictions, may get you to burst
She focus to shape your life, decent
She knows what may happen in the worst
As every child is naturally innocent
Only out of her own anxiety
She may at times harshly talk
She does many things to fit you into the society
As raising a child is never a cake walk
Each action helps your personality to build
Parenting is an onerous task
Every endeavor is to turn you as an effective child
You shall admit later, if one were to ask
She cautiously weighs each choice of your freedom
With a reasonable rating of good and bad
She chooses to tap her own childhood wisdom
As responsibility of raising you, drives her hard
She sets the path to learn
When you win or loose, mother understands
Whenever required, she tends to horn
Learn to lead life, as your mother commands!

The curves of her body are not for your hands to slide,
For that she buries herself under the pardahs, for them curves to hide.
Those two freaking eye balls, follow her assets everywhere,
Buddy, you are not blessed with that pair, to just stop and stare!
Look at your mouth, drooling with lust,
Look at your eyes, aiming for her bust.
With that pair, milk she fed you with,
Little did she know, u will pay back throwing bottles of acid.
Nurturing since childhood, a constant fear
Being a girl is not easy, she swears!
Your harsh whistles, when enter her ears,
Your shameless intentions are crystal clear!
Her body does not invite you in anyway, even if she decides to expose,
For people like you, her doors of sexuality are always closed.
If this was your purpose to live, may god keep you unfertilized,
9 months of pain are not worth it, one day she will realize.
Your hands so eager, to pull her clothes down,
Murder her directly, than digging dungeons to bury her womanhood underground.
She never took birth to quench your desperation,
She is not a toy to play with, so filter your intentions.
She will walk past u naked, and dare u, not an eye should roll,
She will kick u off in that way, begging for manhood, will cry your soul.
Do not mistake her silence for acceptance,
don’t mistake her inaction for her weakness.
you judge her by her clothes, and u were born naked in front of her,
you judge her by her curves, and she lost them all in giving birth to u
you judge her by her face, n look shame is what written on yours,
you judge her by her work, like u have anything better than t give your baseless judgements!!
One day her patience will end, n that will be your ‘judgement day’
That day for your misconduct, heavy price u will pay
because, once she is done, u will know her strength,
for justice and her self respect she ll go to any length.
So stop being a pervert, and learn to respect,
This time, let the humanity within you, stand erect.
Forcing your will on hers, is not the right way to show
Be a real man,
and through your values she will know!!!!

Suspicion
Suspicion is a friend of mean souls,
Jealousy, inferiorities, are its pals.
It always makes you a back biter,
Back talks are baseless, and bitter.
Suspicion is very often unjust than just,
It is far more to be wrong than right.
It is great enemy of virtue and Happiness,
And the bane of all society and goodness.
Suspicion reveals the character of its holder,
When words proved untrue he becomes a liar.
Suspicious minds imagine beyond words,
And brings out words sharper than swords.

Few will believe my genuine praise
Of the rare graces you so subtly possess,
Men of a lighter spirit may trace
My adulation to some forbidden drug.
Yet if men your gracious beauty opt to doubt,
May these immortal lines your record keep;
And may that rare seeker of truth unbelieving lies
Find these enduring lines in some forgotten heap.
Ashamed, they will read ‘Ode to Kate’
And curse the error of baseless doubt.
Your fame shall outlast the rigors of fate
As you get peppered into the larger earth.
The yellowing ode to your fair features
And wasting flesh under Nature’s weight
Shall not your unmatched loveliness erase
But make sweet the tale of gorgeous surfeit.
