Household Auction
Saturday and Sunday
Refreshments

I must sell some family heirlooms from grandmothers attic,
there are many items, jewelry, glass, lamps, and some furniture;
but the most treasured item is a mahogany sideboard quite exquisite,
beautifully carved, and ornate with dragons and scrolls and gorgeous feet.

I noticed you arrived...

Maybe I missed my window to the heart.
Maybe I just never finish what I start.
Maybe I walked away just a little too soon.
Howled one too many times at the falling moon.
Maybe all I ever needed.
Was what I had all along.
But I sure couldn’t see it.
Blinded...

Free Indeed
Never seen a day light for quondam
impediment in abdicate quitdaim
auctioning what thinks best incessantly
believing it’s a good stomping realm
eatoboree and drinkoboree in deterioration with chum

struggling in all his days with felicity
is there another life better than? This in quandary
on that stunch day exert
in getting what...

Wergle Flomp Good Humor 2023

The following constitutes a rather
twisted as a pretzel SUBTITLE:

I dash with my jiggling boobs in an attempt to escape...
being overrun by teddy bears and beanie babies
while carrying out heavy duty spring cleaning.

Twas the bright idea of zee missus aye...

Letter To 2pac
This is my letter to Tupac, I don't know how to start this
20 years after your death, and people are still talking about how amazing your art is
I was only 4 when you died, I didn't get to Watch you in your prime
In 2002, as...

Purple Passion

Royalty of the purple metaphor,
shall I compare thee to the motor kings?
In Heaven’s choir you sing for evermore,
‘Formerly Known’ in white seraphim wings.

The world without you is a hungry place,
already auctioning off your dreams
with the posted images of your face,
boosting ratings and greedy tabloid...

Beauty Pageants For Little Girls
in the sea of lipstick & matching eyeliner
you need to check your hands quickly---
oh watchers of beauty pageants for little girls
it just might be that you never really
developed those thumbs like the
rest of us---
as those of us who have been riding that popular...

Waiting For Acceptance
Now Buxton is the place to stay when hiking in “the Dales”,
But your schedule’s shot to pieces if you’re troubled by strong gales,
On a campsite in the Pennines the wind was blowing bitterly
I confided to the warden’s wife, “Next year I’m off to Italy”.

So I...

Professional Mourners
Bawling, blubbering
yowling, howling
crying for a day...

Weeping, wailing, whimpering
sympathy for pay

Relatives nonexistent?
No one left to care?

Snivels, sobs, tears to shed
sorrowful sordid wares
ghoulishly, greedily
auctioning
despair...

An early wintry storm hit late last night on this date, September 11th, 2035. There was strangeness in the air like a stale aftermath of partying. Frigid. Strange that people still celebrate Freedom Day like it happened yesterday. But none of that stopped...

Will I Fly Free
I want to fly free like a bird
Breaking this wall of Jericho into dust,
Transcending my limitations and boundaries above the sky
Escaping from this miserable prison I just want to fly.

All those catapults of prying eyes on my flesh
Each and every thirsty soul full of...

Bang Bang
Guns are blazing
America I use to think you were amazing
But all this violence have me worshiping
God alone knows I cannot stand this slaughtering
Why aren't you willing
To put a stop to all this killing
Every story I read is so chilling
How I pray Politicians would start admitting
That...

Catarrh
Meanest Bouncer of visiting oxygen
Like a scarf of coarsest jean,
Ever keeping it and the nostrils at arm’s length,
Displaying its suffocating strength.

Oxygen keeps loitering at the fringes of the nasal chambers,
For as long as Septembers are from Decembers:
Kind of dreading an entry into them,
To the sufferer...

Mysogenist
Will you allow these anti-celibate hands to be your remedy?
For they've known years of auctioning pleasure and devouring hearts
I am a chartered Smith
Blessed in the art of forging lies and seasoning of Romance
These are the games I play
If you may, allow these hands to...

Rhyming Over Everything
Poetry over all, rhyming over everything
You need to leave me Be, my pen has a deadly sting
I'm determined to improve, because I'm not great yet
That's why I write until there isn't an inch of the page left

I Write quick like it's an auction and...
