Letter To 2pac
This is my letter to Tupac, I don't know how to start this
20 years after your death, and people are still talking about how amazing your art is
I was only 4 when you died, I didn't get to Watch you in your prime
In 2002, as a 10 year old I heard you for the first time
I instantly liked your music, but was just a bit too young to understand it
But I still played it, and the lyrics that went over my head, finally landed
I learned fast, And have always been ahead of my time
Through your music, I could see you had a good heart with a genius mind
You spoke the truth and that's why the government hated and feared you
All Eyez on you for a reason, you had a lot of ears too
Some think you're still alive because they don't know how to let go
It should have been Suge Knight to die, You deserved to be free from death row
We all know Suge had something to do with your death
You survived so much, no one doubted you would be the last one left
But I guess God needed a soldier, but we needed you hear
You put Courage in the heart of the world and helped us to kill our fear
It makes me sick that they're auctioning off the car you got shot in
You should be here to be president and fix the world we're lost in
A rapper, Poet, Actor, Leader and inspiration, You're a true legend
Rest In peace Tupac, I hope you're in the ghetto in heaven
This is my letter to Tupac, I hope you don't mind me writing
You don't know who I am, but your music is one of the reasons I'm still fighting
Me against the world, and I've shed so many tears
Damn, I wish you were still here
