Best Anthea Poems
On the death of Bruce Forsyth, British entertainer
The Forsyth saga is now gone
strictly come dancing the whole night long
You played cards right with Anthea, your girl,
So we played it at home and gave it a twirl.
May be life was not meant for the uncoordinated.
I look at life through an open window,
Always careful not to fall out of order.
I skim the hems of walls I have created
And build myself a roof top.....
Just incase it rains.
Without hesitation I chase company away,
Only keeping mirrors of my unsolved sanity.
I look out in to the world through my transparent door
I alway wondered why that was,
but it saved me the trouble of ever opening it.
But now looking back I still ask my self
How was I able to live in my tiny umbrella house?
Anthea Ghobede.
Young but filled with passion
Beautifully placed in this world,
Like a puzzle piece
Making the picture complete
A painting lays in solitude
incomplete of its beauty
Waiting for that last splash of colour
you never thought it needed
A dusty brown crayon
Left behind due to its color is all you need
So you see young girl
Get up from the ground
Mend the wounds you have
And continue walking forward
Never drop a tear
And never let anyone see you cry
Don’t you ever fear weakness
Don’t you ever fear pain
For those are the things that make you strong
Those are the things that make you brave.
