then as such) flowed
along life’s swift course
rippling with glee and roaming youth’s chasms.

It then streamed relentlessly to the Now.

left in its wake
so I can

I am confused by what I see
Some kind of dichotomy

Eggs and agates

Protective shell
Fragile
Easily broken
Fluid thoughts and emotions within
Needing warmth and nurture
To spark the life contained
To grow
To fly
