no one was saying anything to the bully.
some people were laughing uncomfortably
the woman was berating and belittling her six-year-old boy
my four-year-old daughter walked up to her and said,
“This is why no one likes you. You are mean and you are a bully.”
the woman burst into tears and ran home.
Another mother and I made eye contact.
Ashamed that only a child had stood up.
But I was proud that she was my child.

little light belittling the darkness,
I kinda need her pecking on my neck,
and avoidance of war of the roses
I imagine her sweet brown eyes
ever so gently as this lazy lay
gives not the bad but the good cries
and there's no thorns in my crown,
push me over to my front side
as you sit upon my tummy
and cheekily give me a smile
I met you in a pub down-town
and silence are the exasperation
of a locked door excitement.
I need gently demons released
upon a shore of kisses on my chest.

They're the murder
The puppet
For disgrace
Steadily bullying
Whosoever fails or loses the race.
That's the game
They play
Murdering
People's confidence
By belittling.
Steadily irritating
Whosoever they hate
Because they don't act
Or misbehave like them
Steadily murdering
Who don't support
Or partake in their game of mediocre.

People will humiliate you
People who don't want your best
People who are against you
People who don't know your worth
People who don't know who you are
People without humility.
People will humiliate you
People who wants applause
People who wants attention
People who wants power
Some for fun
Most for belittling
Others just because of their inexperience.
People will humiliate you
People who wanna be above you
So they can use you
Rule and ruin you
Bend and break you
Tame and shame you
Just to make you bow to them reigns forever.

This is Africa
A land so bless
Naturally endowed
Different cultures
A peculiar continent
But everyday steady struggle.
This is Nigeria
Land of heritage
Very resourceful
Different traditions
But only the strong survives.
This is Delta State
The big heart of Nigeria
A prominent state
With several oil Cities
But the people can't afford it.
This is Sapele City
The city of humility
Very peaceful city
But no infrastructure
They steadily belittling the people.

I hear the mournful sorrows of war.
The sight of destruction brings its horror.
Come forth is the belittling of another man.
Incomprehensible hateful anger, they band.
Loved ones painfully shred our fragile hearts.
Mournful cries as we lay to rest the departed.
Our lives are currency; we mean so little to them.
They will relish and gleefully profit to no end.
Lords of war will manipulate and control our minds.
They divide us all, for they are cruel with words so unkind.
Remnants of moral courage fade into the night.
Dreams of innocent death wake the afflicted with fright.
We are enslaved in fear of their violent oversight.
Soon, the hidden truth will bring in a vengeful light.
We are many as truth binds us in beautiful, loving unity.
Even one candle lit will reveal the truth for others to see.
We are now free.

As we age, we whittle down
The things that we can do
Or the ways that we can do them
So we last the whole day through.
I’ve whittled down my exercise
And how much I can drink.
My energy’s been whittled
And my brain’s begun to shrink.
I’ve whittled my acquaintances,
Though some were not my fault
And my memory’s been whittled
Or locked in a keyless vault.
I’ve whittled down my travels
And my need to shop and buy.
Some hobbies have been whittled,
Which I loved; I don’t know why.
My knife is sharper than my mind
So I won’t be belittling
The ways it goes about its job,
As time goes by, of whittling.

Man gazes upon the shattered horizon
Witness to a cosmos, boundless as his imagination
Men beckon him as a fool
Only they have twisted visions
Belittling as insignificant to expanse ahead
This beholder sees opportune
As if a sea brimming with life
The horizon offers treasures that lay in wait
Even if not now
Efforts and struggles will go with reward

The most romantic city in the world the passenger next to me said
Her girth had oozed into my seat too, for she was super corpulent
I will fall in love, marry a rich Frenchman, live a life of luxury she said.
I was eating a donut in the lobby of the airport when someone sneered at me
American! He said, "are such pigs." I weigh a hundred and forty-two pounds.
Another person walked by and glared. I heard him belittling me in French.
Not sure what he said, but I did know one word, and it was piggish.
I am now wondering if my seatmate’s dreams will come true in France.
Or will she have to travel to Portugal or Mexico for love?
Two men tried to get into my rented flat when I unlocked the door.
I was horrified and turned horrible – yelling, screaming, kicking.
Americans! One said. Horribly nasty fat Americans. Paris is not for me.

Herm saw in Fee, a person who barely knew how to live
John recognized Fee’s will, she had survived childhood Armageddon
Herm focused on her downfalls, belittling her
John nurtured her potential, inspiring her
Herm discouraged most of his students, they received low grades.
John built his students up, admiring their goodness, giving A’s.
“I never have given an A,” Herm said, in a proudly weird way.
John had no words, recognizing the smallness of the man.

I always sought after to clear up the tittle-tattle
that continously throws mud at my character
Incessantly belittling and throwing sour grapes
created to denigrate with contempt and dishonor
thrown at my name.
God is so amazing, so amazing he will not leave us
nor forsake us, He will constantly bring us out of
our tests.

Walking in the heat of the sun
I saw you standing across the ways
our eyes locked with looks weighing a ton
I hope this is more than a phase
Our conversations were riviting
Our minds felt aligned
Now its me you are belittling
Your hate has been asigned
Im sorry for what was said
Im sorry for what was done
I now always feel scared
You are the one that made me run

THE POET AND HIS CRUEL COMMENT
Using Frost's form for "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowing Evening"
~~~
~~~
Whose comment is that?
I think I know.
It's owner is quite mad you know!
It really is a tale of human woe.
I watch him frown, his joy is a scowl!
He gives his hurtful comments a shake.
And smirks to false, hot tears to make.
The only other sound I hear....
Is the mean poet scratching his despicable rear.
The comment is deeply hurtful, cutting, meant to shame.
and to make you weep.
And the joy he gets at belittling you?
Aye~ he is the Devil's most precious creep!
He rises from his bitter, lonely bed,
With thoughts to destroy you in his head.
He idolizes you upset, and in blogs, shares his disdain.
He walks laughingly,,most haughtingly!
Amidst the razor- sharp shards of his most cruel reign!

You listen to all my babbling and triggering
Your friendship knows no belittling or conjecturing
You're just simply that special irreplaceable something
My love for you comes with total understanding
I am a warrior by your side waiting for commanding
Your secrets will be buried with me into this earth
This is my solemn promise to you and your worth
You never asked for devotion in our interaction
I never expected your Muse to be an attraction
