The Poet and His Cruel Comment

THE POET AND HIS CRUEL COMMENT

Using Frost's form for "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowing Evening"
                                  ~~~
                                  ~~~

        Whose comment is that?
        I think I know.
        It's owner is quite mad you know!
        It really is a tale of human woe.
        I watch him frown, his joy is a scowl!

        He gives his hurtful comments a shake.
        And smirks to false, hot tears to make.
        The only other sound I hear....
        Is the mean poet scratching his despicable rear.

        The comment is deeply hurtful,cutting,meant to shame.
        and to make you weep.
        And the joy he gets at belittling you?
        Aye~ he is the Devil's most precious creep!

        He rises from his bitter, lonely bed,
        With thoughts to destroy you in his head.
        He idolizes you upset, and in blogs, shares his disdain.
        He walks laughingly,,most haughtingly!
        Amidst the razor- sharp shards of his most cruel reign!

I don't know what brought this on, Pangie, but those kind of people certainly exist. It is easy to say 'ignore', but it will still linger at the back of our mind. ~ Hope you are keeping well, my friend. ~ Regards // paul

That is thr truth, Paul. It certainly casts a black crepe. On my illusion of being trusting, that ended,…Then, they move on to adotre my friends? Comments to some, are more important than long time friendships here. This should be renamed The Popularity Site. Not poetry!I know you are one of the best here. I really don’t understand the rage to win every contest.nor drive by comments hugs, to 100’s.but I realize EGO rules the day.I respect your integrity. In appreciation., Pangie

I seriously don’t know what kind of human being would enjoy belittling others.

The answer is one wearing a halo but has no value for another. How would you feel, if I insulted you, like a snake not under your name, but at another’s? Or saw 6 pages here of people insulting you that you thought were your friends. I shan’t be stopped. Others here have withstood so much. Quitters, Fin, don’t win. I have a famous writerr in addition, in my corner and God! I am blessed! Pangie

Oh, Wise Wizard of Words! I most humbly accept your dazzling compliment. And the deep, profound inspiration, and poetic style of Robert Frost. Pangie

- Well written, Pangie ... such people enjoy hurting others ... because they have a meaningless and sad life ... I delete such comments ... or block the "poet" ... do not want to see them ... - hugs

Hello, Sunshine. Yes, you can block them,unfortunately, they can cast insults against you under another poet’s poetry! You won’t see it, but I have, they bring their shoddy admirers along. Worse they have a huge following. I don’t see the point of besmirching another and neither do you. Bless you for being a kind soul,dear friend. Hugs, Pangie
