Herein lay the words,
That geyser burst in:
She’s a happening tapestry,
Well-versed in,

Person; As an aurum recipe,
And fly like a dart: trajectory;
Heaven, I declare exactly,
Her sexy lexicon: olfactory –

What does it mean,
To love You?
Which would this be:
Is it such, or untrue?
How may I wake,
To trust You?
What permeates?
My faith, destitute!

As aurum rightly shines,
For luster may come through:
I’d rather yield inside;
So, my prayer, ensues –

Fall season is a favored time of year
when leaves irradiate their aurum cheer.

Custard colors cloak paths with brilliantine
while misty breezes tease the woods to sheen.

A couturière flouncing haute couture,
adorning the hillside with striped hachure.

Rich gemstones of ornate colors convey
an elegance to Her brilliant bouquet.

Wild winds blow briskly and bracingly strong.
High mountain tops lace in silver sarong.

Her splendent figure, festive femme fatale,
reigns regally pluperfect pastorale.

Her flamboyant panache is très chic.
Au fond, She's decisively magnifique!

Olympic Games

Olympic games
              Nations united
              fair play... all is joy,
              peaceful sights...
              Royal gifts offered,
              gold,
              silver,
              bronze...
              Equivalent to
              Aurum,
              incense
              myrrh
              of  Three Magi... !

Oceananigans I and Ii

I.

Ode the thrill of a tango
curled in clutches sleek

Elegance, a prerequisite
Add on a spun euphoria

Nimble is a turgid swoon!

Arms conduct to the aria
New skin, feels no tocsin
It's deeply in a you and i
Glazed, to the tightening
and a strangling organza
Necked into a suffocation

So go the tunnel deaths…

(1/27/2021: '02 Silverton MY; Alameda ...contest theme was murder in the tunnel)

II.

Ornately, I gild over my days a’ la fresco
Carefully, I wield molten gold, enigmatic
Elaborate must these life undulations be
as metallic sheen screens all insipid aura
New cantankerous crack? Just weld upon
and smooth the jagged with flowing flora
Now the feckless plaster sparkles golden
I spurn mawkish, like the silvered literati
glossing my craven, to caverns gleaming
Aurum weaves, in its narcissistic miasma
Nothing malodorous in self-love / loathin’
So imperious my bombastic art, it glazes!

(8.17.21 Redone at Willow Berm and DBW; theme was Craig’s Broken contest relating to Kintsugi)

The Poem of My Soul

Aurum skies of morning
 Awaken in these eyes
Bright golden gleams
 Where ever streams
The poem of my soul

Silver beams of starlight
 Reach within this dream
Embrace with hands
 Of silken strands
The poem of my soul

Then give me wings of nebulae
 Wrought from saturn's rings
Enchant my flight
 That I may write
The poem of my soul

Please Don'T Hate Me

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I step into twilight's wispy fog,
take me with you, don't go alone,
and rendezvous in night's prologue,
lets go now, lets not postpone.
Birds, bees, butterflies, grace the glade,
high up in the canopy monkeys play,
as nomadic sounds float and fade,
pity we know not what they say?
I breathe in the scent of aurum leaves,
you beckoned me to sniff, I sneezed.
Over the horizon, the sky hangs like the eaves.
For sometime there on, you me teased!
I feel the cleansing of my beat,
your heart, your soul cleansed too.
As the earth embraces my feet.
Enthralled I keep you in view.
I am a child of this earth,
us both, as babies, filled with excitement!
I love this planet for all that it is worth.
Both now seeking our lost contentment.
I wander the world, stardust in my eyes.
You wander on, you precious muse,
before the sparkle of life in me dies;
I'll be lost, that's a truth, not a maybe;
Please don't hate me!
Aurum and Argentum
A piece of Silver found,
Polished to display it's brilliance,
Helped lift others too,
But looked away from in favor of Gold.
Becoming dull in the face of stagnation,
Even with a flare of a dazzling spectacle,
Still Second to Aurum.
For Argentum is rarely admired,
Seen only when appropriate.
Much like the third,
Like it's lost sibling, Bronze.
The Aurum River
A burning golden river.
A thousand ember dots.
Whose endless waking slivers,
Hide liquid molten knots
A contented purring timbre
Of viscous weary rock,
Caught in eyes of amber
And weeping molten locks
Its ingot rivlet ripples
Wafting whispers in the air.
Its quaking thunder trickles,
Build shaking sunder mares
Brushing one another,
Aurus tears they bleed
Darkened flesh they smother,
In dripping gilded creed
Burning golden river,
A weaving flame no more
Dusty charred banks quiver
Slaked in starlit gore.
All That Glitters
Atomic number seventy nine,
A precious metal that sure does shine.
Sought by many, claimed by few,
Prospecting was the thing to do.
Found and used in all forms of life,
Sealing the bond with my dear wife.
It is noble and so versatile.
Some is visible when I smile
Symbol Au, from its Latin form,
Aurum, meaning shining dawn.
Used in food, E one seven five.
Olympic aim for which to strive.
A brilliant alloy, carat by measure.
Worn by ladies, gives them pleasure.
Lots of jewellery, plenty of bling,
Some find it attractive, that’s the thing.
Given to Jesus by three wise men,
A gift to treasure now as then.
Please remember what you’ve been told,
All that glitters is not Gold.
Impoverished Fate
She drooled over
the soggy fries
discarded in
the foul rust bin.
She feasted with
the famished flies
and cockroaches.
She bathed her throat
with the drink tagged
imitation ---
quenching the thirst
of her dried hoarse
esophagus.
In occasion,
she would look
at the portraits
of the people
inside and wished
for the same fate.
As they leave the frames,
she begged for
old alchemist mints
and cherished them
like fine aurum
that can be pawned
for a treasure
more valuable.
