Blowing through my area for a few days
gust making temperature bitterly cold
rushing underneath my coat; soo bold
penetrating my layers of clothing and boots
siphoning my body natural warmth
hands throbs with pain; gloves no help
feet and face froze noticeably numb
leg bones stiffening as I continue to step
restricting my singing and dancing blood flow
left me feeling empty, cold, and stiff head to toes
wondering, "are you trying to steal my heart and soul?"

Slow sleek steps,
Pounces on its paws,
Snow-clad fur,
Brushes off impatiently,
Ears perk up,
When squeals and squeaks are heard,
Steady and slowly,
Merges with the blanket beneath,
Almost at ease,
Confidently it please,
Lowers into its position,
Ready to strike,
Pounces on its paws,
Announces in its jaws,
Mouse struck beneath its claws,
Ounces in vigilant strides as it withdraws.

Arctic front just a little seems to much
A tolerance to something with no passion or no desire
To be that frozen bird on the wire
Burning purpose Burning reason
reason to plant the greatest ideas
A non-touch society bleeding out slowly
As they shape our mold
To be a force or be a commune
Starving the less prepared
Now their army they call us the metronome
Building their power forgetting humanity's moral disaster
Ambiguous though they left us no escape held hostage
Corporations traps us always fighting for food.
Panic it's out of their control
We the people
Hold all the cards
Watching the economy teeple
Expecting only handfuls to be still driving cars
I have been stuck in a black hole
searching for ammo for my soul
Searching for camo
Before gravity takes it's toll
Now it's 2066
They think home will be hit by some close encounter
Some near Earth object is eyeing annihilation
Apophis at 3.4km on 2029 sounds pretty close
Apophis Just go away we don't want you back

She drops from the sky when the right clouds are formed.
There is no announcement, not a sound of an angel’s horn.
She arrives with her snow bear, he is Artic normed.
They are fresh every time, both newly born.
We know she comes on days of the Northern lights.
She comes in the night, but we do not see her until day.
When she arrives, Iceland’s nature turns up her brights.
We rarely see her in our life time, so enjoy her okay?

Gypsy Kaleidoscope
Mystic, mystical, magic gypsy
Spins a halcyon kaleidoscope on white horizon’s
Calypsos leaping in crystal canticles
Erases darkness of the neon midnight sun.
In polar solstice fireworks of ruby throated flaming vermilion
Solar windstorms paint an artic canvass in sapphire frost -
Electric mischief hums in flashing emerald rose
Like phosphorus disturbed excitement from a garnet star.
A razzle dazzle of cerise surges, bounding through carmine flashes,
In bewitching specks of lemon citrine bursts
Like transparent wings of dragonflies
Charged with joy to release diaphanous rose dust.
Uncatchable glitzy shards crystalline dart -
Icy silver gilded lilac bonfires sizzle
Coloring midwinter far north cobalt dreams
Gathered in fluorescent enchantment of captured opal fire.
Phoenix nomad on fiery wings, that never weary,
Basks in flashing flickers - escapees of the spectrum -
Sends a spiraling cinnabar kiss – dazzling topaz light -
For a magnetic midnight jubilee.

What's it like travelling in cold,
you think you know but do you know,
the white lands set before your eyes,
sweet summer sun shines up in sky,
I'm Mr Roald trying strong winds,
Burning my face I never knew,
in winters' sane you would not know,
this part of cold the part that burns,
the part that scorns but yet spurs me,
I'm Mr Ready I bred me for this,
I'm searching strange lands,
men little but know,
lands where the rainfall is snow,
lands with grounds all thick ice,
I'm Mr Explore I dare to find,
Here are lands no government bides,
the only emperor is a tall penguin,
too bad for him how could I know,
later on in heat his palace ruins,
I'm Mr Man I rule and ruin,
Canned beef or stew, cold biscuits hard bread,
my food for months my crew with me,
the ponies are pretty but soon they must leave,
on supplies we're short and so far gone,
I'm Mr Leader I make the hard choice,
I'm at my limits even now I quiver,
rigid bodies left behind here you must shiver,
check my compass then look uncharted lands,
lost but unforgotten I've charted the path,
I'm Mr Scott now one dead-famous.

Wisdom speaks in notes of light: If another hates
Their neighbour then truly they walk about, darkness
Having blinded their eyes heart to tongue; burnt offerings....
A winter's blast this altar so seeks ? Stripes, the millstone bleeds.
