arctic colors bluster
 gossamer rainbow ripples ~
  northern lights fanfare

north winds of daybreak
 electric neon highlights ~
  polar bears snoring

pink and green streaks flash
 watermelon auroras ~
  iceberg skyscrapers

auroras fox trot
 light in staccato steps ~
  high stepping brilliance

tundra skies blush
 frozen lights do somersaults ~
  polar breaths glow

Where I sit it is 17 degrees with it feeling like 9 and tomorrow the negative digits. Your execution of the haiku suite is marvelous executed wonderfully including voice tone and imagery with a perfect title to which you did not stray. Thank you for sharing your skilled poetic talent. Gosh how i wish i can see northern lights, its definitely in my bucket list , and i absolutely love how descriptive this poem is. Every line shows me magical skylines of fleeting and swirling rainbow hued northern lights.i love especially “ gossamer rainbow ripples” “electric neon highlights” “ watermelon auroras” and last lines too! Profound! And artistic is the fitting title for this definitely! Pleasure always reading you.
