Dazzled by something worth comparing; our friendships common majesty
Offers without warning while in unfamiliar waters; we may both be
Lost in foggy noise; we are individuals; of sound triviality
Passing millions of years since our divergency
Horrific is our view; it is found of your arrogancy
Inside minds the size of yours, love grows the same, developmentally
NO, we see in black and white; squandered, you are a gifted tragedy
Save my bottled nose will never understand; the pineapple mess outside; that is sweet within humanity

Having learned from principles of Scriptures
We’re admonished to leave the paths of arrogance*
Nourished along humility and meekness pastures
To reach-out others with God’s gracious extravagance.
Treading against haughtiness’ direction
We’re marching by the Holy Spirit’s command
Governed through heavenly wisdom’s unction
Surely complying to faithful stewardship’s demand.
*1Samuel 2:3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

The Word of God equates me with haughtiness
Highlighting evil of arrogance…
Declaring that my arrival brings shame
Along with contention and conflicts
Warning the wise against my folly
Exposing the prudent midst my ill effects:
Failure, fall, and frustration’s miseries
Driving down my adherents toward humiliation
Leading my supporters into destruction
Conquering souls to wallow in vain glory
Imprisoning exalted self-righteousness around futility's abyss …
Beware of my peril: I AM PRIDE*!
*Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth.
