Leaving Paths of Arrogance

Having learned from principles of Scriptures We’re admonished to leave the paths of arrogance* Nourished along humility and meekness pastures To reach-out others with God’s gracious extravagance. Treading against haughtiness’ direction We’re marching by the Holy Spirit’s command Governed through heavenly wisdom’s unction Surely complying to faithful stewardship’s demand. *1Samuel 2:3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
