Arranger Poems

What the tea leaves reveal

From a loud-mouth, world’s cease-fire arranger
To desperate man as if in manger,
Who when naught was rendered,
Panned, having surrendered,
And what is worse than that,
For a rival to bat,
Dubbed as salesman and Putin’s messenger!

Note: Meeting between Trump and Putin in Alaska. Boasts galore and no more boats to reach the coast across! Putin conceded little, trump ceded his boasts, reduced from being a realtor president to a salesman and messenger to relay Russian terms to EU and Ukraine. But the deal maker that he is, Trump might still get Russian oil to flow in the world easing prices, access rare earths from Ukraine, and his coveted Nobel peace prize.

Hello Sitty Patty

They got this weird thing going on.
They have tthese parties and serve steaks. They save the bones and dry them out and even smoke them. They mix ground meat and pack it around the bone, and then do the same with the ground fat.
I tasted it: it was good but I was told not to encourage this sorta behavior.
They get all excited about the event and make jokes about being so poor that you'd recycle Steak bones and pack them with meat. I heard one guy say: that his father told him when he goes to the store withhis mother, see if she's buying streaks or recyling the bones. He said that once she wanted to go buy a new bag, but didn't have enough money. So she took the money and bought cheaper ground meats and packed the bones and feed the family at 7 p.m. after the sun went down in a nearly lighted room, so they wouldn't notce the difference. Said his Dad was beered up and didn't complain.

Spitting seeds, "pout ting!"

Sooth Songs and Grooves

Where do we began
Since this is beginning
How does it end
To show it's meaning
What to write
To convey my frustration
I like the chorus
But it sounds like
a beginning
Put sum ooh ahs in
A harmonic melody
Some strings and
Bassy grooves
Let the music beg
Me to sing
First verse is missing
Something it lacks
Something
Maybe it needs me
Sweet talking people
to see if there care
The oohs and the ahs
aren't that, repeatives
When we sing it onstage
I'm gonna need
Some strong voices there
Song love me
I think I'm in love with you
Say you need me
Like I need you
Get us where
We gotta be
It's a chart topper
Gone take the hook
Make it a real show stoppa
Alright now
Sweetie do your thing
Fellas tell the ladies
they can really sang
Voice under
Put me over
Right in the middle
Like what I feeling
Mix that lone
guitar with the
Fiddle.

Fried garlic cabbage
With peppers and onions

Lime ,olive oil, fish stock
Dressing
On a cucumber onion salad

Medium rare roasted
Lamb chops

Lily Valentine
By Franklin Price
5/19/2019

I'm here to tell a timely tale
Of lovely Lily Valentine
It may be slightly slanted
She's a relationship of mine

She's the daughter of my daughter
She has great talent in her voice
Since her early days of childhood
Music always was her choice

Was the lead in most the musicals
Was Drum Major of the band
Sight reads all the music notes
I just barely understand

Plays piano and the French horn
Maybe others, that's her game
Directs an a cappella group
Gemini Boulevard its name

They compete with other college groups
Awards for her are quite a few
She's been named the best soloist
And the best arranger too

Tried out to be professional
Was just the other day
For Musae, an a cappella group
Here are some words they had to say

We loved the way you interviewed
The way you used your voice
The way you copied Windex
Hands down you are our choice

Now she's on another branch
To climb the music tree
I know she has no bigger fan
Than her pop pop, that is me

Some Scatter Brained Horn Haiku About Priest

Had been battle torn,
Which is way Priest's robe was warn;
Saved from sin one morn.

Our sins should be shorn,
So we will have been reborn;
Heard call of God's horn.

Things love that adorn,
Forget sad things that forlorn;
God will always warn.

While we had waited,
Our priest had postulated;
On concentrated.

God placed great glory,
Into Son and His story;
Both Wig and Tory.

God is on each side,
So in Him we will abide,
While we do confide.

Priest is dead ringer,
For someone a poor singer,
And likes to linger.

?Great re-arranger;?
?And our priest seems no stranger;
Babe in small manager.

Limelight

Limelight

Once I had to go on stage
reading my poetry, I was a nervous wreck
but when up there bathed in light
that shone just for me I was in my element.
Each poet had read three poems, but I was unstoppable
until the arranger of the festival dragged off stage.
The audience consisted of 50 people who are not
who are not afraid of a poetry reading.
I was afire and wanted to read poetry everywhere
but my wife got me to go to bed before the fool
in me took over.

Chair Arranger

Homer's a chair arranger who
works in meeting rooms
on 30 floors in a building
tall as Trump Tower.
At least it looks that tall to him
getting off the subway
half asleep at 4 a.m.

Setting up a banquet is
the toughest job for Homer.
Long tables and many chairs
take all morning to set up
all afternoon to take down.
He works alone by choice.
Doing so is job security.

But no one wants his job,
not even young Jason,
who steps in for Homer when
he has to take a vacation.
That’s when Homer warns Jason
chair arranging is like life.
What goes up must come down.
And both can happen quickly.

Everything We Are

I am many things.

Am
I
the
everything
that i wish to be?
everything
I am,
Is
that
what you see?

the stayer awake
of thirty six hours,
carrier of new borns,
arranger
of
flowers.

And
I
have
super
powers.

I am the fixer of broken,

mender
of
parts.

I
fix
all
the
broken hearts.

I fix all the cuts,
the scrapes,

( The thirty times an hour I attach the capes )

I am the name cried out in the night,
I am the hold that holds you tight.

you are the reason,
my stopper of smoking,
the bright eyes and oxygen,
my
no
longer
choking.

am I all that i could be?
am i the world,
is that what you see?

I
am
everything
you
are
to
me.

So Not We See

So we do not see
Eye to eye
Or heart to heart bound
I see you on the precipice
Out warily looking
When I glance down
Two views the same scenery to most
I see a thousand possibilities
But yet you see just one

My endless ways of the falling rain
But only wet and damp you get.
The same in demented
Weather
Blessing to me
While unpleasant to you.

My esculent speech
Not digestive toy you
For the
Nourishment
They give me
Sustain me, while starving you.

Perception you say,
Like it is mine to own.
All humans on this planet
Perceive things different
However
That in reality or virtually.
They are naturally the same.
The eye goes the beholder is.
What arranger to others viewing.

Premium MemberHi Ho Sliver

When we retire to our charming boudoire
Cathie just likes to read
While I on the other hand prefer to sleep
And dream of my kindly deeds

So I don my mask to block out the light
And I'm off to my fantasy land
Helping poor souls in dire straits
Those seniors whose life's hit the fan

You see I'm known as the “Lone Re-Arranger”
I help seniors rearrange their life
Along with “Pronto” and faithful horse “Sliver”
We help those struggling with strife

If your mate's in the kitchen preparing dinner
Using sharp and dangerous things
Don't start singing, stay far far away
She's distracted when she hears people sing

Travel to another part of the house
Stay as far away as you can
Older people at times lose control
They've been known to cut off their hands

Here's what the “Lone Re-Arranger” suggests
Be gentle with these elderly folks
They really don't mean to cause you no harm
Though the house may be filled with smoke

Just then I wake up from my interesting sleep
As Cathie turns out the light
Sure happy that knife in my back wasn't real
In my dreams I was rigid with fright!

Premium MemberWouldn'T You Rather

You can do it
All that you set your mind to
You can accomplish all that
Get them all done
And in perfect shape
You have it in you
To do the best
And be the best
Let He guide you
In what to do
And when to do it
You will not fail
You have the perfect teacher
Arranger, Organizer
He will rearrange your life
To the way He wants it for you
It will be in perfect order
Harmony
You will be astounded
To see it changed
You will be surprised
To know
What God can do
When one allows his life
To be touched by Him
Be guided my friend
Let you be a willing vessel
Where God can pour
To and through
You’d be shocked
To learn of what you can do
In his unlimited power
Which you will have
When you allow Him to
Be in control of your life
Wouldn’t you rather for Him
To be the driver
Instead of you?
