In The Moment…

I’m elevated and aroused, doused in scenic sensations
Tickling my ears are the sounds of vermilions chirping
Jasmine incense redolence pure pleasance
The lasting impressions of a passerby’s stirring smile
while waving back at the doe-eyed carefree child

Your ocean colour eyes,
reflect your  warmth,
Streams of golden verse,
ooze from thy soft lips,
In life’s peak and trough,
your silken tone heals,
My life is richer for,
my garden belle’s fragrance.
Enigma fair you rouse me,
when dark clouds appear,
Our love is a noonday ice cool ripple,
Because of my loved one’s presence,
I can overcome the toughest obstacles.
Nothing is impossible when,
this wondrous lady,
casts her magic smile,
Is it any wonder that our veins pulse,
with sparkling engagement,
based on strong rapport?
Even when we momentarily part,
this firm caring bond,
treats distance with scant regard

Flushing tunnel moisten with the dew;

Sweeten view, vibrant hue;
Vessel cave entry in tunnel dark misty;
O' Epicurean, ahh! sybaritic yes voluptuary and dionysiac sexy;
Sweet are the tissue of her veins says he

O' Jubilee, caressed embraced shalt they so kiss, heavenly now blissed;

So whole some beauteous envisioned so delicious

***** Aroused

Do you see the colour of my skin?
And the fire that burns in my eyes?
Yes! By now you must realize,
I am a strong, black man!
Yes! I am a Jamaican.

 The rich black blood that runs through my veins,
Has lit a fire into the pit of my stomach,
And I feel the urge to dance, to laugh and to sing a sweet reggae tune.
In honour of my ancestors who struggled for a place to call their own.

Freedom came with sweat and tears
And with pride and heads held high
 The journey will continue with my son, my daughter and many more to come.
I will knock on doors that will open wide!
I will seek and find my place.

I am a strong black man!
Yes! I am a Jamaican, no longer a slave!
And with nothing to lose I will gain a place among the strong and the brave
And our journey, my journey will take me where no one knows,
For I am me! A ***** Aroused!

Aroused Memories From An Incense Stick

Swirling twirling wisps of smoke,
Fragrant and pure threads of dreams,
Soft as new laces,
Dreamy with a touch of sleep,
Sanity, it’s hard to keep,
Dreams finally coming true,
Long forgotten stories alive,
Worlds all at once trying to strive,
Images flashing like bolts of lightening,
Those old days forging to the front,
Old memories suddenly arising,
Across mementos treasured so long,
Searching for something,
I find what I’d been looking for,
That old diary hidden away,
Now keeping it on top of all,
That diary of my grandfather,
Is a loving memory no one can forget,
We all miss him so much.

It's Pretty Long

"I will take this lamp, here, back to my room."
"I don't care, I'm scared of the dark too."

Thought’s Aroused
Written by: Tom Wright

Most days, my thoughts
Are consumed by phantom pugilism
With things that once were
But long in absentia.

I re-trace the missteps,
That became teaching tools,
In the grandeur of life;

My unspoiled moments,
The fourth dimension, has purloined,
Leaving me to mark time
With no pronounced purpose;
