I’m elevated and aroused, doused in scenic sensations 
Tickling my ears are the sounds of vermilions chirping
Jasmine incense redolence pure pleasance 
The lasting impressions of a passerby’s stirring smile
while waving back at the doe-eyed carefree child

I love your imagery, Anaya. The bird is truly quite beautiful, but your words are just exquisite: "Jasmine incense redolence," "vermilions chirping" are striking and pleasurable to the eye. Thanks for sharing. (Also, I saw in your response to Duke that you are self-taught - I'm self-taught too. Doesn't make you any less of a poet my friend. You are a very talented poetess)

I'm just getting started on a bird series, in order to learn something new. I want to explore what bird watchers see, first I'm taking time to identify them thru the internet, why not.
