End of year was here,
R.... closed the communication Apps since May this year.
For 6 months, he walked past my front garden 6 days a week,
Worked at the back yard for 6 weeks,
Sat in the special guest room on each visit,
Which was converted from a dining area.
Now many months later,
The Agapanthus in the front garden,
The Hydrangea on the left of my house,
The bushy Apricot tree,
The flowers were blooming,
And the fruits were ready to be consumed.
He missed to enjoy the beautiful blue,
Green, pink and white flowers,
And tasted the delicious home-grown fruits,
Which he used to appreciate and wait.
He gave them all a miss,
After tossing away our friendship.
Truly, I did not care if we could not be friend again.
Just really want to know why
He has decided and treated me the way he did,
Terminating a relationship was nothing, really,
When comparing to the way he hurt me.
In my garden, there’s an apricot
tree with pink fragrant blossoms that
fall from the branches one by
one to the ground. From a
tree, then tiny green
leaves sprouting out.
The fruit it
makes and
grows.
On
the full
apricot
tree, the young fruit
cover the branches
with sweet, juicy orange
apricots. They are very
delicious; even the blue jays
and crows eat the fruit right off the tree.
I lean in to your space tonight
My hair caresses your face tonight
I started looking for you long ago
I am waiting with grace tonight
I came dressed in shadows
I’ll mark your place with black lace tonight
A fantasy of an apricot tree and rose water
I’ll put my love for you in a wide vase tonight
Vanilla scent fills the air
But I won’t leave a trace tonight.
Apricot tree grows from broken car
Branches reach up towards the North Star
