Love and Grace 'Twill Show the Way

a kyrielle sonnet

Lord, warm folks’ hearts as cloth we sew
garments of faith where trust will show.
Pure mercy, help Christians display
Your love and grace 'twill show the Way.

Lord, wake our souls along this path
with cords of truth we do the math -
ALL praise is Yours, we trust and pray
Let YOUR love and grace entwine our Way.

Lord, weave with us, Your Word we've read;
sweet hope we tweak among our thread.
Strands of patience to appliqué
so love and grace can clothe the Way.

Lord, warm folks’ hearts as cloth we sew,
Your love and grace 'twill show the Way.

By Happenstance

By happenstance a glance may say
we humans saw the light of day
in universe’s vast expanse
to personate our song and dance
within a fleeting earthly stay.

At night black velvet sky array
stelliferous with appliqué
might seem to firmament enhance
by happenstance.

Yet ‘midst the starry overlay
concomitantly underway
cause and effect their course advance
encompassing in nexus trance
connections cosmic, not at play
by happenstance.

Mad moments mesh mind mystery;
Yesterdays yield yonder yeses;
Sight sensuous stash sync sensibly;
Thrust tensile thrill to touch tresses;
Empty emote ends each earthing;
Ready ripe rock rustling rich roast;
Yesterdays yoke yield young yawning.
Mind mulling mock moves motive most;
Aplomb appease asking appliqué;
Seize subtle space singing sweetly;
Troubles trace tease trembling technique;
Endow encase embalm empty;
Rich rides revoke reel remaking;
Yesterdays yoke yonder yielding.
