Joy

There’s a lot of joy
In the quiet classroom corner
Sheltering my thirst for
New little things to pick apart
I love that here, I am allowed to be curious
I know my questions won’t always be rewarded
But now, debating an annotated essay
My brain does a little dance
And I remember school can be fun

Third party annotated bibliography by Tamanna Ferdous

Rene was composing a bangla song. After decades and motivations distant from a light year, he truly tried. Just with one concept. Photosynthesis is not something photogenic. Certainly not an easy subject, not quite popular that fame is blessed about.

"I think you need a break. Simply try an easier path."

Shanta wanted to cheer him up.

"Let me brief you with a little scenario. A written up verse should not be a price tag , nor should it be anything other than a equidistant line that fails to understand occupation and occupied territory. By the time the second line will emerge, I am tired. So awfully tired!" Rene shrugged.

“Find an agency. That will help you adopt children from both

sides.”

Shanta tried to smile. She had a sad note to pass. Their only child would be dropped out as they found him smoking and in other felons too. She could not sleep for the last four days.

He looked her in the eye.

An uncomfortable stair… a staircase…with rise, with tread.

But give it all you got, Then you will find God in drops of rain.

In nothingness. God does not need us. We need Him.

Familiarity

Familiar as an old book,
but priceless.
Worn and frayed like,
an ancient tome.
Pages bent and torn,
heavily perused.
Annotated musings scribbled
bring back memories.
The shininess, sexiness, luster,
crispness of new pages,
new cover long gone.

Marriage is like that old book.
Now used, worn and tattered,
but warmer, deeper, richer.

Downloading the Light

Take a slow tick of time
to shut-down the brain.
Rebooting also works,
the writing on the mind wall
will probably continue,
but don't get back on the thought train,
The much annotated, over-cluttered script
will fade away
when your eyes begin to look through it.

We are all born with a soft spot
atop our heads, that aperture is still there,
it opens when you unplug
from all your self-talk.
The starry universe can now pour in,
or just a scent of an unworldly flower
that swoons your sense.

Keep brainless, sit apart from its
scrolling word-monitor,
sit, lay or stand one breath away
from its constant chatter,
watch from a distance
watch the one who watches
do not editorialize
just observe.

That metaphysical hole
in your emptying head
will let your Higher Self inward
and it will fill you with wonder
until you know there is no 'you'

at least until once more
you turn back on
your beeping and buzzing brain
to find some news of yourself.

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

Effective, live, give
Related, created, dated
Contemplated, illustrated, annotated
Realize, chastise, surmise
Talented, Sainted, painted, fainted
Proportion, distortion, contortion
Humongous, among us, fungus
Incantation, contemplation, situation
Intend, extend, suspend, upend
Support, escort, retort
Harmonic, Teutonic, tonic, bubonic
Criticize, realize, surprise
Limerick, pick, edict
Tutor, suitor, refute her, recruiter
Traitor, educator, date her
Weigh a ton, around had spun, start to shun, she's the one
Order was out, without a doubt, starting to shout
Debilitated, rehabilitated, rotated, rated
A mattering, started scattering, broke and shattering
Choke, broke, spoke, yoke
Table, enable, fable
Hostile for a while, quite a gal, would beguile, could compile
Seduce, reduce, produce
Abuse, excuse, obtuse, what's the use
Wangle, angle, dangle, wrangle
Worrisome thought, Lincoln was shot, outside is hot
In between was caught, hit the spot, ended with dot, within earshot

Now go for it. Jim Horn

Snake Oil

I heard all the anecdotes on antidotes
but I wanted my therapy done chemically
so much that, in an approximation of intoxication
my judgments blurred uncertainties with a whispered ‘allegedly’

spectacular vernacular, jailed - minus crime or credibility
capital cliches of an amateur poet, inevitably
a teenagers growing phases annotated in the vaguest of chosen but stolen phrases
regurgitated words and statements

the morbidity of authenticity that is lexicon-artistry

The #1 Best Seller

the basic instructions before leaving earth
the book that will quench your spiritual thirst
the B.I.B.L.E. the anointed word of God
the manual on how to live that we should take to heart

it's been in existence for over 2000 years
so there must be something of substance in there
the tenets of God and the teachings of Jesus the Christ
the basic instructions how we should live life

the #1 best seller since its inception
but today still receives mixed reception
it can be found on the shelves of most every book store
the #1 best seller that many still ignore

it's full of wisdom, power and Godly insight
history, poetry, truth and might
KJV, NIV, the Message or the Annotated
Contemporary, Amplified of Living, no version is ever out-dated

it tells of kings, queens, prophets, prostitutes and the ever-present poor
lepers, beggars, tax collectors, sinners, disciples and so many more
a continuous account of the nature of mankind
as seen through the lens of grace and the sands of time

the #1 best seller you should get this book
and once you start to read it you'll probably get hooked

THE BIBLE

We'Re Moving Again

In the poetic violence he will sing
With such manners as to offend all
But on the road does it really matter
Never again will he see them
He's painted lawns with others' blood
Because he will never return to places so dramatic
The man he has become is too laid back
Not he will disrupt others but distract
When they look away he'll be gone in a flash
And when the lights are off he will stay
So many occurances have the words he dreads
Been spoken to not come back home
"We're moving" heard much too often
And much too often does he stay nights
Inns annotated as others' homes
He has made home
And the road simply his driveway
