The Marvel comic book unique character,
Mark Spector, an American mercenary,
called the Moon Knight, becomes the avatar
for the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu.
He assumes the identities of Grant and Jack,
arising out of his mental reflection.
Grant, the mild-mannered British gift-shop employee,
becomes Mr. Knight, and confronts Harrow,
the servant of the Egyptian goddess Ammity,
who summons a jackal to exterminate Grant,
but he transforms into a cloaked warrior and kills it.
Jack, the third most ruthless alter,
eventually kills both Harrow and Ammit.
The story revolves around the fatal mystery,
mystically linking the Egyptian gods
with Moon Knight’s multiple alters,
perceived through dissociative identity disorder.

love has drifted and shifted from old days,
from daisies, roses and chocolate trays,
we fall in love, not after meet and look,
love is often through twitter or facebook!
her eyes were so dreamy on her webpage,
her lips so rosy they lit in me rage,
I fondled, kissed the pillow next to me,
dreamt with her I had a family tree!
I messaged her twice and got no reply,
good girls of that age I knew would be shy,
googled and Yahood, finally tracked her down,
knew exactly where she lived in my town!
that evening when we met, my love went cold,
her photo on her webpage was 30 years old!

You read poetry for the survival that filters through its lines
Poetry that promises healing
no matter wars in distant lands
Poetry's brash cracks of hope as the planet veers
off kilter in disarray
with lines idling, a narrow gush of pleasure
Poetry with a script of heroes
that wipes away the mess of life,
earth's crowded house of frenzy
Poetry with multi layered meanings
most a fog, like digital tech updates
Poetry to sanitize the world, which it won't
Poetry to restore the thin crust of political civility,
which it doesn't
And if you're the last person to see the light,
poetry won't save you
Still your need to read poetry expands
a validation of landscapes unseen
a lighthouse in a world of complications
for sometimes verses lift your thinking
for sometimes lines breath through you.

She doesn’t get triggered too much anymore,
She’d put all her worries to bed,
When she figured each nuance of folks she lived with,
After meeting them all up in her head,
There was a small cranky lady, all stubborn and stern,
With tied back, frazzled wispy old hair,
And a small little boy, all innocent and nice,
Who had a favourite little brown teddy bear,
And each personality had their own style of art,
From pop, to cube, to nouveau,
And one liked the speed of the fastest race car,
Whilst another liked going real slow,
But the most amazing thing she saw in her mind,
The thing that made each one unique,
Was when she watched every dream they had every night,
When all of her alts were asleep.

Five months, and a flower blossomed
Artemis' prayers chanted at the lighted moon
A spirit entered your home, you won't go back
Who is she? A god or a demon
You hate her and love her
So much suffering drunk your mind
So many alters no one will find the core
Remember its all for a better world
Lead will turn to gold and men to gods
Nothing can stop them
Its all written, no one will find you Judy
May the holy spirit fight for you
Good bye, my love
And hail to the brave new world
