Oak wears green taffeta
Dancing in March's brisk breeze
Sometimes shakes ill at ease
Are oaks in Africa?
Looking at Aquila?
An affair with Altair gee !
Oak dances with redbud
Changes partners with speed
Forsythia now is freed
When she see this wild dud
A philanderer, stud.
Tulip puts on brown tweed
No need for spring's light clothes
In the midst of her throes

Wreaths and stockings hung with care,
baughs of holly deck halls that were bare.
Tree lights twinkling, a top a star glares,
Trimmings decorate banister and stairs.
Homes inside and out have holiday flair.
Angels with gold horns ready to blare,
snowmen with black eyes, stand and stare.
Amid children sledding and double dog dares,
a snowball fight, "WAR" one declares!
Laughter and bells ring out holiday flair.
Some people wake up to a nightmare,
winter storms catches them unaware.
Snowflakes fell from the night air
dancing on the wind like Fred Astair.
Glimmers with magical holiday flair.
Santa's sleigh with reindeer in pairs,
Rudolph's nose shines brighter than altair.
Middle of town is like a sidewalk fair.
Dressed up and looking debonair.
Shimmering with holiday flair.
Tis the season that's extraodinaire,
time of year none can compare.
Taking all year to prepare
Cheer spreads across the globe like malware.
Joyful and triumphant holiday flair.

When once I pondered whence came the stars
With baited breath and rapid pulse
I let my spirit loose to fly
To the source of my concern.
Pollux was first to welcome my quest
And I shouted, “Why are there stars?”
“A dragon’s sneeze, with blazing glow
Birthed my neighbor and myself.”
“Why are there stars?” of Altair I asked.
He grudgingly barked a reply.
“Methuselah’s birthday candles
Blew embers strewn heavenward!”
With spirit weary, I ventured on
With many more stars left to source.
“Why are there stars?” was my anthem
Until fully satisfied.
Vega had to hold back a giggle
When faced with my inquiry
“Atalanta now wears Nike’s
Cleats poking holes to the gods.”
With one more cluster to hit I flew
“Why are there stars” my only words
But never in my pondering
Could I picture what was said.
“When your father passed ten years ago
He obsessed of your fear of dark.
He never rests, or takes a break
But hangs nightlights for your peace.”

The other day my beloved asked me to do her a favorite I agreed but it's going to be a wild hard travel, yet she accepted. We hit a desert road to Alcove peak, under that mountain we lighted two candles. We were going down to enter alcove, there she gazed at the roof then to the ancient books. Randomly she picked one asking what this about. Aldebaran and Altair I told her so. We had a good chilling/hot night. Good morning :)

Here is the love story of Zhi Nu and Niu Lang
A romantic ancient Chinese tale of very long
Zhi was a nymph and Niu Lang was a cowherd
Cowherd-nymph love forbidden,secretly wedded.
Had two children, but their happy life ended.
As by the goddess Wang they were detected.
The goddess took Zhi Nu back to the heaven
Niu Lang chased them with his two children.
They were blocked by the milky way- sky river
And the children kept crying for their mother,
Shouting her name, Niu and children wandered
By their pain and grief, the goddess was moved.
She allowed them to meet one day in a year
Could be seen in the sky as Altair and Vega stars
They meet and live happily ever after for a day.
Day celebrated as Qixi- Chinese valentine day.

Someday,
my spirit
will fly
in the
night
sky,
to the
steps
of
heaven -
And
the light
of
Altair,
will shine
bright -
Guiding
my way
to
the
Most High -
For
I will
rejoice
with
a happy
heart -
As I
soar
among
the stars,
flying
my way
home -
