Good thoughts vs. Bad Thoughts
Truth vs. Lies
Order vs. Disorder
Wisdom vs. Ignorance
Wealth vs. Poverty
Honor vs. Dishonor
When did pride, power and politics
Replace justice
When did protection become persecution
When do politicians pretend to be priest
When is instead of land there is an empire
When did leaders claim rulership
And earthly alliances no longer perfect
A cross and a collar
A reward to be won
A badge and a suit
A responsibility to some
A uniform and a gun
Killing for their rightousness begun
Citizens with a country and agreement
Rising like the sun
An employee who's duties
are not connected to funds
All are connected
in what you teach your sons
There's no need for a book
To tell you what's the truth
But when the answers are
pride. greed and laziness
When the answers are
Why, no and what for
When the answers should be
I feel, I will and I've done
Bravery does not defeat fear
What's required is faith
When reason , logic and philosophy
are starring us in the face.

Shifting alliances make nations queasy
though status quo frankly leaves them uneasy

So many conflicts, many nations want.
To kill, abundant arms, countries just flaunt.
Talking about wars, a thing they cherish,
it matters less, whether many perish.
On round tables, their talks always on strife:
destroy with bombs not even a knife;
invade other lands with slightest excuse
to commit shameful human rights abuse.
Their alliances rob others of their peace.
Their thirst for human blood is without cease.
A once prosperous place plundered to debt,
all their residents scamper in cold sweat.
But hope still glimmers, though the road is long,
still peace will come, though war now rages strong.

The election of 2024
Presents an existential choice
Which old white grandpa dude
Both past their prime time
Do you support for president?
Friendly, grandpa
Who has been president
For the last three years?
Presiding over a decent economic expansion
Amid war in Europe and the Mid-east.
Or the former chaos president
Facing multiple court cases
Owing settlements for fraud
Sexual assault and defamation?
Who promises more chaos
And retribution against his enemies
In the deep state, and media.
Calling them all communists
As if an international communist threat
Was it still a thing?
Promising to deport
Illegal aliens
And possibly withdrawing from nato
And other alliances,
and impose crippling tarrifs
on all imports?
Yet to his supporters
Has been anointed by god
To vanquish his enemies.
or vote for RFJ, JR
or Cornel West
or Jill Stein
or the libertarian candidate
or just boycott the election.
staying home in disgust.
Sadly, that is our choice
On election day.

In shadowed halls, I've followed the quiet threads of power,
Charting each muffled cry, its subtle sway in time,
Silently navigating the veiled histories held in their gaze.
Indeed, the world is more than a stage for veiled hands,
And the moon a silent sentinel of their secret rites,
In hidden rooms, the sacred vow shifts to silent betrayal.
I turn not to the relics of old secrets worn thin,
Nor seek the stark truths in ruins of ancient bonds.
Shadows are draped like promises, speaking of deeper dawns.
I've roamed the archives under the quiet moon's watch,
Untangling the snarled webs of alliances that bind.
Yet, they hold fast.
Sometimes, I long for the veils to be drawn back completely.
In the quiet corridors, triumphs speak their tales;
The secret heart pulses with the rhythms of old truths.

Riding the train on a summer afternoon
feelings of fallacy hurled upon me,
satori in my brown orbs with a speck of gold dust inside,
I was ready to take on my heels back to you,
these intrusions being new
as I cannot assert with the flow
something pulled at my soul
for I lost all track of the sea,
fortified myself down the rabbit hole
seasons turned hazy,
troubled with blurring horizons
juxtaposing everyone else’s against yours in wild tones,
tangled in circles of alliances
crestfallen over you,
just like a little parrot, the throbbing heart of mine
whispers syllables of your calling
and it brought the storm along,
the stark lightning of which struck the chord
in dissipating the blues of mine
aching to be raptured in untethered pragma of love,
while into the deepest of desolation
stepping into your territory felt far-fetched ?
moon light shepherded through
the momentary solace of the soul sought after,
etched onto my roots
when time demands of imperative forgetfulness
you remain
the footprint of yours remain unparalleled in my infinity

they promised to find him
among mortal
they wished to find him
one spoke of him
as if he had
seen and spoke to him
then he reported that he had been
deceived and called the
person a true Satan.
When he was among folk that he could
understand and
who's faiths had
values to believe
he made query into those
tomorrows that would
the todays of Times

they planned events together
and rherst together
they sorted changes together
and made time
for one another and
the need to be as one
there strength came
from there alliances
neither dispute
or decisive tongues
could speak them apart
that they stood strong
to trophy what they had achieved!

They poured a slab and bui retaining wall in the enbankment
they used cynderblocks to make a room with a chimmey. They covered it with stones and concrete.
They buried the prefab house and sprayed insulation around the windows and base of the building and sprayed whole unit to create a large stone!

Alliances last longer,
Or when help will cease.

We have had nightmarish experiences,
Of fighting two worst world wars already.
Both wars involved military alliances
Between different groups of countries.
The first one was fought against colonialism;
The second was due to ideological differences.
Though, the methods of warfare were different,
In these wars, millions of people lost their lives.
Yet, we haven’t learnt any lessons from them.
A critical phase, now the world is passing through;
Based on religions and regions nations are divided.
For silly reasons, one country hates the other,
One nation occupies the territories of others.
For selfish motives, one intimidates the other,
Cooperation and coordination, they know not.
Proper friendly relations, they maintain not;
Exhibiting nuclear power, one threatens the other.
Today, the world is on the verge of World War three.
It’s time to stand united and fight against wars,
For the welfare and survival of our future humanity.
Life is nothing but learning good lessons,
From our past irreversible bad experiences.

The US and Japan
How did that end
Once sworn enemies
Now fairly friends
Russia and China
mutually suspicious
Though lately they are
partners auspicious
The US and Europe
an alliance once tight
Today slowly sinking
Titanic at night...
Alliances shift
over the years
Lack of preparedness
is what we should fear

Boldly I exhume exclusion, a badge of sacrifice
Milestones shunned, money’s usual manoeuvre
Cultural flimsy stronghold, servant’s fiscal price
Top tier requires slaves toil all day for approval
Nonetheless, pleasingly, I hail our lucky country
Offers safety, anonymity, hovel unacknowledged
No need to solidify alliances, desperately hungry
Primed pilferers for immediate advantage pillage
Supplementing streetscapes bolster unsold soles
Trove tumbledryer drums cook my new costume
Accesses babyboomer tower, to fire escape stole
Secure deep sleep from moonless cement room
Adverse to version of
us who refuse to assimilate
A new season - Winter
Begins today

On the dusty table there sat
Dirty cups and plates and other nick-nats
Swept across the table was a book
That had news clippings worth a look
For it was placed together to tell
A gradual descent into a fiery hell
As the wind blew the pages were revealed
Of a story of a world that didn’t yield
The first pages spoke of alliances made
And a bonding together for the warrior escapade
For buying guns and planes and army trains
Seemed the thing to do in all refrains
As the wind turned the grimy pages
The need for territory produced the rages
Until the final declaration was made
Of war and troops a farewell bade
The final page revealed the sprouting mushrooms all
And the end of every nation now the call.

deposed dictators’ club
they sit there in their comfort
each in his moneyed retreat
maybe each reflecting
on unexpected defeat
unprosecuted criminals
guarded wherever they go
protected maybe in silence
for not telling what they know
the remaining world leaders
mouth off about their end
no position quite as transient
as that of political friend
and they push and the jostle
for a share of the spoils
particularly when
it’s a country rich in oil
back in the liberated places
where the worm finally turned
the mess is sorted out
maybe lessons learned
and for a little while
new alliances are cemented
the diplomats return and
credentials are presented
good will rules for the present
until that time comes when
power breeds corruption
and it all starts off again
they sit there in their comfort
waiting for revolution to end
and the deposed dictators’ club
welcomes the newly deposed friend

That girl has a promising future
Clearly shown in her sense of adventure
Sadly the sourbellies of our tradition
Pose many threats on her ambition
A world that prefers the misfortune of a male gender
Over the good fortune of a female gender
Can't appreciate the confluence of skills
Imbedded in that girl child that he kills
There are many tales of horrific imbalances
Orchestrated by men that form alliances
To cower that girl child with their sense of soured culture
In order to forfeit her sense of adventure
My word of advice for that girl child
She shouldn't accept the plots such men styled
If she ever desires to fulfill her dream
She should hold herself in high esteem

It goes without say how most times
We vote for the party and not the person
That's why we've seen many times
We don't really vote in the right person
There's something about being in a party
Being under people who've been at it
It's from the political party
That one grows politically, right at the heart of it
Forming alliances within the party ranks
People who not only just share ideas
They even finance you into those ranks
Bringing to reality your vast ideas
At times in the primary party elections
One is forced to take a seat back
And wait it out in the coming elections
Being told next time we'll have your back
But with time in the political party
Voicing your opinions you get attention
And even when you not the one in the seat for the party
You'll be the man consulted for your vision
