Alliances Shift

The US and Japan
    How did that end
  Once sworn enemies
    Now fairly friends  

  Russia and China
    mutually suspicious
  Though lately they are
    partners auspicious

  The US and Europe
    an alliance once tight
  Today slowly sinking
    Titanic at night... 

  Alliances shift
    over the years
  Lack of preparedness
    is what we should fear
