There once was a dog called Rover
Who used to dance the bossa nova
The other dogs would stare
But he didn’t care
He had the most rhythmic rollover.
His squeeze was an Afghan hound
Who used to play around
With a feisty Jack Russell
Who had lots of muscle
And put Rover six feet underground.
The Afghan’s a dog groomer’s joy
The definitive Lord Fauntleroy
But with all that coiffure
One is never quite sure
If the “she” is a girl or a boy
when the sun sets
i am on a deck of a beach house
watching the sunrise
drinking my french vanilla blend
catching the dolphins having their morning swim
looking at the fishing boats
smiling at a dream come true and a perfectly laid out plan
the only part missing is someone to share it with
i flirt with an older lady who looks so young and vibrant
i flirt with a younger lady who is not feeling my vibe at all
i flirt with a lady walking her aged afghan hound not noticing me at all
i flirt with a lady who is taking it all in like me and responds to my flirtation in the exact same way
all in all, i am having a ball
The Lord's Blessing Is What It Is and What It Exactly Should Be
either way, i am Noticed, Heard, and Loved
also, i have another week and a half of the wonderfulness in front of me
so Thank You Lord.....AMEN.....
afghan hound dogs are
the oldest dog species and
fast than a racehorse
2019 September 17
me and my Afghan Hound
drink coffee by the pound
she'll put other dogs to shame
for she could play any game
more than a pretty face
she could win any race
my best friend is a Hound
best one I ever found
