Spire insight of silence
Swotch and bind, conspiracy of mind
Conspire and self-protrude
Mindless matter of maddened hatter
Borne gall of uncongruent bladder
Reign wettened confections'n faux pas
Pram embedded bedding of public propaganda
And poised for prose 'dulted diaper thrown an' broiled'n a gutter
Homely homelessness in wake of deft arms
Freshened refreshener and wetted choke
Chugged and driven doomed deliverance
Cut of word 'cross and lost'n devious drivings of work
Ticking tenor left fear to render
These haps to fall through ungloved metal and measly meak meal, and
Coarse feel along rift ridged riverbays
Swept upon eons of words spurred affray
Sully gusts, and worry t'encrust
And collect the lost worker from astray.

Through the streets of Whitechapel
A monster roamed them all
He left behind a history
Many to enthral
But who knew the romance
The lover behind this affray
He may wield a knife but in fact
Was Jack gay?
A romantic, emasculated by a wife
A sexual experience
Affected him for life
Read about the romance
The lover, murderer too
It's all in my new book
A paranormal tale for you
If you want a good yarn
My book is just a gripper
It's out in November and it’s called Rise of the Ripper

Twitter
I write on Twitter and vent my views
I never swear, never abuse
I sometimes joke and use satire
I am sometimes angry full of fire
I need free speech as we all do
But Twitter doesn’t like what I spew
So they suspend me, take me off air
Curb your language, yet I never swear
I don’t support Russia in any shape or form
Twitter thinks rape, murder and torture, norm
Therefore, when I say I wish Putin dead
They don’t congratulate, they suspend instead.
Now, I view him as a tyrant, terrorist, despot
I vent my view and guess what I got?
Others’ swear, F off, F this, F you
It’s a thing I never do
So I tested the water one day
And swore like a trooper in an affray
I wasn’t suspended or even chastised
Which proves one thing. Free speech is despised.

RECRUITMENT
Your country needs you lads, let Lord Kitchener tell you more
Come forward, join the ranks and we’ll send you off to war
You’re fighting for salvation; you’ve got Jesus on your side
Remember that in battle; let the shepherd be your guide
Join up with your pals lads and march in time with pride
You’re Ulster Presbyterians, so, the lord with you abide
We’ll muster at the Shipyard so that everyone can see
Then continue to the Farmyards and the local Factory
You’re young, or even younger, than the army will allow
You look a little older since you smoke tobacco now
We’ll put you in a uniform and show you how to drill
We’ll teach you to be brave and then train you how to kill
Say goodbye to your family and prepare to sail away
You’ll fall in on the Western front and join the great affray
Although you may be seventeen, we’ve made you into men
Yet most of you will never see your mothers face again

Jittery glittery tree
A mouse ran up the Christmas tree
Scaring the life from the fairy
Cat did too, with dog in pursuit
'Twas a fiasco and quite hairy.
Fairy's heart raced seeing the chase
The dog bit the cat on the bum
The tree lights flashed, the tree it crashed
And cat had the mouse in a scrum.
Poor fairy flew off, nerves were shot
It wasn't how a Christmas should be
She cared not a jot for this lot
Her intention was to seek peace.
The lady of the house rushed in
To find what was making the din
Kids lovin’ home movie herein
Were sent to bed with a warnin'
Mother had to clear up the mess
While dad took the cat to the vet
Mouse ran away from the affray
Mice who have laughed last, laugh best.

My childhood bed stood beside a small window
one story over our front door.
My brother slept in the other,
by windows to the garden.
I slept there again, not long espoused,
my wife asleep in brother's bed,
but I awoke that night.
A terror gripped, consuming fright,
as there ahead, above my bed, a demon.
Not a dream, but sitting up to scream and shout
in dread, to "Go in Jesus name! Get out!!"
Yet there my body lay, head pillowed soft in slumber, eyes closed to this affray.
I turned to see this self asleep while I sat up in utter fear. "Be gone! Get out! Get out of here!"
With disembodied screaming fear, and somehow,
as I knew, that every knee must bow,
the devil's fiend did disappear.
I lay down to join my body in its peaceful sleep repose, and this is something real that night
no other person knows.

Perilous Times
Written: by Miracle Man
September 25, 2020
Lord, Hear our prayers as we intercede,
on behalf of our troubled world today.
Disobedient people good thoughts impede,
and each day brings some new affray.
Today we are living in those perilous times,*
that you said the last days would bring.
The media reports daily on riots and crimes,
change our hearts before death bell’s ring.
*2 Timothy 3:1-4
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Proud to be alive, with a beautiful stride
it’s a mate she has to sway, before it’s too late
After something to strive, it’s now time to reside
with not wanting affray, she says bye to her mate
Her cubs born in a hive, and still having to hide
it must me mums’ way, that decides their fate
Getting taught to survive, from a mum who has pride
they’ll need lots of play, to turn out so great
Wanting them to thrive, she has to be their guide
so they can have their say, for what’s on their plate
With young ones to feed, she goes hunting for food
with a stealth of a creep, she gets close to some feet
It is what they need, as their meal comes her way
she has a big leap, and clamps down on her meat
In they come to reap, on the catch of the day
they now start to feast, after finding the best seat

Vandalizing History
A Miracle Man opinion
6/21/2020
Under social injustice, history is vandalized today,
what started out a peaceful protest, wound up an affray.
Many became vociferous in expressing some slighting,
now, seems no day passes without dissing or gaslighting.
The world is too loud and I need placid times,
but my thoughts are ambushed by protest and crimes.
While burning, and looting, history they replace,
bringing to their movement resentment and disgrace.
Today, segments of some cities are facing a coup,
there’s so much fake news, who knows what is true?
It’s cleverly reported inciting anger to peak,
tongues utter only what sinful hearts speak.
We witness flags ablaze and monuments torn down,
society as we knew it, has experienced a meltdown.
If revenge is payment for wrongs of some past day,
God has declared, “vengeance is mine; I will repay.”*
*Romans 12:19
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”

Hating The Haters?
Written: by Miracle Man
6/5/2020
Protesters brandish signs which decry stop hate,
yet loot and burn until the hour grows late.
As intolerance is tested, many become agitated,
but the hate in man’s heart can’t be legislated.
Beyond our sight are those intent on causing trouble,
whose aim is to destroy, leaving livelihoods in rubble.
They don’t burn buildings based on pigment of skin,
but loot and leave graffiti and have no chagrin.
In pandering to voices because they’ve grown loud,
police give more oxygen to a match lighting crowd.
All lives matter not just those causing the affray,
we must move forth together as we seek a new day.

The thing about scrabble,
Is one should never burst a bubble,
Accept the tiles that fall your way,
In lieu of falling affray.
A Z in your rack,
Now to plan your attack,
A triple letter you see,
Please keep it for me.
A blank in your stock,
Now I'm ahead of the flock,
A bingo in mind,
Now where can I find?
My opponent not grinning,
Now that I am winning,
No more tiles in the bag,
But I am trying not to brag,
I play the last tiles on my rack,
But is that enough?
A close game in the end,
But always a friend,
Win, lose or draw, I extend
It's the company, I savour,
As scrabble will never go out of favour.

Sad departed endings
From deep internal memory I reminisce about our past. The good times & the bad & the shadows of doubts cast. For jealousy came reaping Seeping into lovers gains. And all it was achieving Was a life of aches & pains. At one point I was broken And I couldn't see a way To escape the painful feelings That caused my heart dismay. So sadly a choice was given To & from each other self. To regain the love we'd lost If we were to achieve loves wealth. So with that we had our reasons To go our separate ways. And continue on our separate journey No longer afflicted by hurts affray.
