Dreams

Sometimes
you dream
and it
never
happens
sometimes
you crave
for things
to happen
but you
never
dream
sometime
you think
the time is
over while
it just
started.
Sometimes
you think
your time
just
started
while it
just ended
our
dreams
make us
assume
our
imagination
this how it
goes when
you crave
for things
you always
use this
WILL
DREAM
EVER BE
REAL?

Quilted Crossroads

were at a quilted crossroad
why not lie there with me
and watch paper unicycles go by while listening to owl city
this doesnt feel real but i knew it was when a teardrop escaped from your cry
but luckily it fell and i caught it in the palm of my hand just in time
and right there you lay your pouted lips on mine and suddenly it felt like i was in
summertime
it didnt feel like we were in a situation
i felt like we fell in love at the right destination
coz all our thoughts blew away with the wind
and then it felt like we couldnt lose the slot machine tripled win
and all that could have happened was if time froze
and on your body lay a rose
coz then its sleep time and the scene is set for a quilted crossroad....

Greatest Grandmother

To the greatest grandmother,
Of all times from above,
I write you this poem,
Full of blessings and love,
You're an angel of light,
And a blessing from heaven,
a gift to the world,
And the mother of seven,
Your aura shines vibrant,
Your smiles gleam bright,
The advice that you give us,
Reflects divine light,
You have twenty-two grand kids,
And you've helped raise us all,
From the time we were born,
Past the time we could crawl,
You were there to help guide us,
From the time we were walking,
You were right there beside us,
When we first started talking,
And now that we've grown up,
To have kids of our own,
You have sixteen great grand kids,
How the family has grown,
You have two great, great grand kids,
What a lifetime of bliss,
An amazing achievement,
That began with a kiss.

Matilda's October

Frankly I'll stare blankly into darkness all the time I wish I could and you still in the
spot you stood saying this time for good I knew you'd stay just like I thought you
should. Were alone in these vacant woods this situtation aint no good it's been
sixteen days were misunderstood common sence is on vacation so let's take up
roots in a new location, light a trail through our duration build a new on this
foundation show the world to a standing ovation then settle down into salvation
enjoy the scene a surreal sensation finally give in to our temptations. As I look at
you your my admiration so there's time for celebration intuition planted in this vast
constellation let's break this disolation repair unflattering devastation it's our time
total domination. Tonight we take our place among moonlight break the void escape
the sunlight into this eve we'll both take flight a wrected hyme we learned by sight
let's take advantage to much delight. Before October let's set things right in the end
we shall ascend.

Road Trip

I went on a road trip with my brother and dad
And I want to share the time that I had
We left from Indiana to New York City we were heading
To be a part of my sisters wedding
I didn't have the kids so I thought yes smooth trip
I lied to myself sure was fooled forget it
We had to keep stopping it just would'nt last
For some strange reason we kept running out of gas fast
My dad got hungry as his stomack loudly grawles
But there wasn't another rest stop for at least 20 miles
We had a smooth ride until traffic started to jam
We got restless trying to do anything we can
Then the cops pulled us over and issued a speeding ticket
I'm not the driver I'm not paying it
The wedding was beautiful and so was she
I got to see my best friend and spend time with family
now Iam sad and feel so alone
Back on this long trip it's quiet all the way home
For vacation this summer I plan to go back
But this time Iam taking the kids and riding the amtrak

Yo.Doctor...

Snaps Dragon, to open the door
"What time is it" ? Said two short four
Got the crystal so I can see you duck
Decoding the names wasn't just my luck

... I'm Brilliant! she said...

As the lights flickered on
Stone angles moving angels
by a River's song
And saved to disc
Before she was gone...
His name on her breath
To prove she'd been found.

North of the pole, don't stand in the light
When the shadows cast two, the world isn't right
Earth was her name in a woman's form
"So time was moving backwards" but not any more.

Smart said Darth but you're not the same
"...it's Time my Lord, the time has come..."
Take the watch that's not been open
Name the face that's not yet spoken
Make the bond that's never broken

"Hello sweetheart" ... it's You, I reckon.

Leaving

Everyone's excited to be leaving
We thought this day would never come,
Eighteen years of laughs and make-believing.
At last it's time to run away from home.

But we will have to say goodbye
To all our friends
The next time we meet it will be noisy
As we tell each other who we've become.

So the only way to go is to just go
Perhaps you think I oversimplify
Got to make yourself take the leap
Trust yourself to fly.

Everyone's excited to be leaving
As if we can't grow up until we part
Naively we agree there'll be no grieving-
We embrace as though we know each others heart

Halloween Night

Halloween night

It’s a scary night in Cali
It’s like that everywhere
It’s the time were we can scream
(Scream)

Boo! the pumpkins scream out loud

Watch out!
It’s a scary time in Galt

(Ding dong)
“Trick or treat”
The kids scream out loud

Children everywhere
Dressed as in fairytales

Its joy to the parents
Seeing each child in there apparel

Serving little goodies
They see they have too many tootsies

It’s a Halloween night
So let’s want to cheer
No fighting can be near
It’s the best time of the year

“Boo!”
“Happy Halloween”

The Young Girl On the Computer

how can i discribe this beauty
on this paper how can i display
how can i tell what my eye's adore
and get the point across that this is more

this thing that is youthfull
this thing being young
has no knowledge of wrinkles
or ageing begun

she sits a few feet away
never to know that this poem
is being writen about her
the librarian called her name

Leah. but this was no leah
this was Rachel in all her glory
the sight jacob labored seven years for
and then again seven more

she sit's in the wrapings of youth
the jewel any father would adore
the prize made for a prince
i wonder does she have the sence

and i so lucky from time to time
glance over her way
her skinny arm
her frizzied hair

and now she's leaving
to the copy machine to get her work
and those low cut jeans
soon now. oh she came back

she must know that i'm writing this
or God his providence provides a frame
this creation deserves an encore
lucky i found out her name

Debris

I stopped loving you today
All your memories packed away

Tell my heart that feels betrayed
But in good time even that will fade

The time with you wasn’t wasted
Bittersweet and honey laced

My mind remembers your embrace
Dreams of a future now debased

I’m much stronger than I thought
Better now, not overwrought

You never even felt distraught
Inflicted pain cost me a lot

I told you when you closed the door
That would be it forevermore

I told you what you had in store
But my pleas you did ignore

Now you’re hit with some debris
Wanting back what will never be

Remove the blinders you will see
I am doing what is best for me

What Crises

What Crises

It's Just like always
the rich got richer and the poor got poorer
but soon comes the time for change
when the poor ole working man will take a stand
against the wealthy that own the land
and I'm sure it will happen time and again
at least until the bitter end
my freind
at least until the bitter end

Fearless

Fearless i go running in the night
barefoot on rich damp soil
stretching out my arms
in a cool wild flight
trees, they whisper in my ear

dark wind on cold bare flesh, i’m running
hot face, heart pounds
i feel the pull of a thousand years
and the way things used to be
and then, i hear the call

you are here
the time is now
and, all is meant to be
the time is now
you are here
all things are as they are

flight faster than thought on this light moon night
as i slip between the bars
i breathe the finest breath
*****sapiens erect
moving, sentiently and silently
through the stars

you are here
all things are meant to be
the time is now
and all things are as they are
and you are here
all things are all things
and, all is meant to be
