Falling through the dark, yet held by your flame
Ash turns to light when I call out your name
Though we tremble, unguarded, the same
Embers awaken our hearts again
Mist veils the path, but it cannot erase
Even in shadow, our love remains
So Close, So Far
Beauty-backed brains,
Ever radiant, ever evanescent
And rejuvenating.. while life's rains
Treacherously try to tear and rent
Rippled holes into men's hearts,
Inspiration comes forth from you
Cajoled by Cupid's love-soaked darts
Encapsulating everyone in your view.

Metamorphose into a being
Only a favoured few see
Like snowflakes which spring
A surprise on creatures in June
Raking leaves which fell from
Aftermaths of a terrific storm

Kindred hearts once intertwined,
A love so rare, one of a kind.
Reaching out through time and space,
I long again for your embrace.
Soft whispers echo in my mind,
Stars align, our paths combined.
Amidst the silence, hope remains.
I carry love that never wanes.
Memories linger, sweet and true,
In every thought, I think of you.
Somehow, I know we’re not through,
Still believing in me and you.
Every tear and every sigh,
Dreams of you will never die.
