Premium MemberReprehensible Sugar

Sweet tea and tongues spill the cream.
Loose lips chew ice cubes and a story,
twisting it slightly to fire up a regime.

Unsettling words come out in a stream
becoming more and more accusatory.
Sweet tea and tongues spill the cream.

Getting jollies while cooking a scheme
they sell something as simple as glory.
Twisting it slightly to fire up a regime.

Reprehensible behavior to redeem?
Nope. It never fits into that category.
Sweet tea and tongues spill the cream.

Add sugar leave out a clear cut theme,
providing clarity is never mandatory.
Twisting it slightly to fire up a regime.

Bored so they want to blow off steam.
All of the dialog? I've taken inventory.
Sweet tea and tongues spill the cream,
twisting it slightly to fire up a regime.

Night Shine

Night falls in neon showers
Here in the nocturnal simmer of summer
slick city blacktops spark electric.

The juiced-up take to their cars,
pull into fast food haunts
where glazed eyes
return to two-way mirrors,
others fall without noticing
into a numb subliminal hum
an electric divining of something bad
to come.

An ear crawling buzz,
the static clutter of criminal minds
distorts the crests of overheated airwaves.
distant thunderheads pop like
galvanic mushrooms.
Light bulbs vanish
behind lighthouse eyes.

Under a canopy of magnetic shine
liquor stores promote a glow and fizzle,
a hissing power that backlight's
both beer can and bottle,

and we who drink
are thankful for the way
such strung-out needs carry us
in and out of our dreams

until, of course, as always,
a stark, accusatory dawn
jangles its steel-bright
jailhouse keys.

Premium Memberconflict in the courtroom

prosecutor is pushing for a guilty verdict.
defense lawyer argues there is no crime, for there is no body.
forensic expert says she must have been killed, due to the amount of blood.
her parents are conflicted.
they want her to be alive.
they do not want her murdered.
they do not want to blame their son-in-law
he has been like a son for twenty-two years.
and he has custody of their five grandchildren.
they feign their support.
keeping their accusatory feelings under wraps.
holding their breath in the courtroom.
waiting to see where this show is taking them

Premium MemberIn Good Conscience

I have made mistakes,
but have committed no crimes.
My conscience is clear.
But some former friends now hate;
complete misunderstanding.

It's unfortunate...
How can I just make them see
my motives were pure?
Accusatory faces,
and their cruel words, still haunt me.

I do not ask for
any forgiveness; there are
no doubts in my mind.
But I don't have much time left.
So just let me live in peace.

Premium MemberMurder Mystery

The rain it pelts
The lightning crashes
A shadowy figure
Through streetlight dashes

The strangers meet
The wine is poured
To infiltrate
The secrets stored

The army man
The cook, the nurse
Field questions deep
Without rehearse

To crack the code.
To solve the crime.
Complete the task
Pre coffee-time

This desperate crew
This shady bunch
Explore, unblinking
Every hunch

Accusatory
Fists they slam!
"Rice pudding?" Please.
"A blob of jam?"

The time bomb ticks
Suspicions linger
The awful truth
Of pointy finger

A crime of lust?
Inheritance gain?
The washing-up
Will still remain..

At last conclude.
The mortal sin
Has been revealed
The verdict's in

A lover's tiff.
A desperate heart.
But love enhanced
As friends depart

We all agree..
Despite the rain
To murder is fun
Let's do this again

Butter and Balsam

She hears again his guttural sob
as he orgasms behind her.

Between his muscles and her anima -
butter and balsam.
She spreads herself,
makes herself parts to be used.

Afterward,
his hurried dressing,
his indifferent coldness.

Then, as usual, he leaves her
for that bony
with halitosis.

One cigarette after another;
she draws the smoke into her lungs,
into her belly, feels the fumes
turning to vengeful wraiths.

She opens drawers
tossing his clothes,
anything that smells of him.

She wants to write letters,
raw accusatory letters
to his pride --- his bull-S soul

She imagines following him,
demanding violent sex
just to use him up.

One last warm splash,
one more flick of her wrist,

then turning away swiftly,
deleting him out of her life
forever.

Eli, Eli, lama Sabachthani?

A temple bell clangs through echoing ears.
My vision today
could turn a green leaf brown.

Why do I tilt my head like a bird
just to see its reflection in
a muddy puddle?
Why the need to know
If mud is real or just a mote in my eye?

In your eleventh hour,
in your distress,
why did you utter that accusatory word, 'forsaken'?
Those unrisen words reverberate still.

Body temples crumble away,
the altar returns to eternal flame.
Knowing this, you still cried out.

As a bird's broken wing
un-fluttering,
yet not squelched,
am I.
I die not,
to long dead thoughts.

Forsaken, forsook, forgiven.
My fear of falling
makes me ever the lame pilgrim.

Will you walk a little away,
that I might feel your leaving?
I then might for certain know,
that you are my very own
sacred heart.

For I forget myself
in this long dream of existence,
though, all-unknowing,
I will surely
blunder into the light.

Premium MemberShattered

My houseplant committed suicide.
It came out of the blue - or at least - I didn’t catch the signs.

I’d put it on my window ledge so it could catch some sun
- it appeared to be having a good time.

I brushed it with my elbow - the wispy kiss of a butterfly
and it leapt to its shattering end - I never will know why.

The girl it barely missed, looked up - in accusatory alarm.
“What if that had been a BABY!” I yelled, to keep her calm.

We had a terra-cotta funeral - my roommates seemed really sad -
and a reception where no plant-life was consumed.

Lisa, acted quickly - she’s a fashionable 911
and at the funeral she buried the corpse, in a new pot, in her room.

Premium MemberMoved

Out of the bowels of the apartment come
the trivia of the past.

Old receipts pushed to the backs of drawers,
faintly accusatory,
records of money and passions spent;
Yellowed paperbacks made unseen
when new ones double-parked on the bookshelves;
Clothes swallowed by omnivorous closets,
CDs in cracked cases tugged into shadows,
gadgets, trinkets, and
other mummified delights
re-emerging dustily into the light
from the tidy rubble of a home.

Not like photos, those records of big things
making up the official, abridged version of a life,
these are the messy memorabilia,
leftovers from small doses of happiness,
each a reminder of
a moment in time when we were lifted
from the rut of days, and
cheered,
solaced,
or moved.

Now all assigned to the “OUT” pile,
to be shed
before the movers come.

Premium MemberKing of Love

Love comes from glory, where angels sing
Kind of like some story told about the king
Dove of peace with allegory for eagle’s wing
Above what the vast, hoary gravesites bring
Void of lies which swore he that others cling
Behove my dreams favore the sweet sting
Free of all that is predatory breaths of spring
Shove back the accusatory and relish everything

Premium MemberInternet Trolls

Name calling and accusatory mud slinging,
offers absolutely nothing of value with regards to true problem solving,
and is so very immature in my worthless opinion.
Having said that, I do find internet trolls to be very entertaining.

Chromosome Identity Crisis

You possess the body of a man,
yet you have so many feminine leanings
cascading through your mind
It makes you cry on the inside,
the way some people treat you so bad
Even your close friends make you wonder
if their motives are sincere
Do they wanna rule over you,
redefine and dictate you
because of your sensitive nature
You love being treated like a queen,
and you get so afraid of your rage
when others treat you cruel, treat you mean
And you don't understand why
you were given the physique of a man
You hate your big, strong masculine hands
Dreaming always of having the shape of a woman
Chromosome identity crisis program is running,
and you can't self-destruct the genetic code
Now you sing the condemned song
of a battle weary, testosterone trapped soul
You sing with fury,
filling your spirit with such fierce self-hate
Your passionate, accusatory cries against God
will prevent you from entering those pearly gates

Quick Heal Our Friend Part 1

In the world of viruses criminatory
Quick Heal is the best category
Which I chose as my advisory
And freely continued my story.
Viruses made my PC dilatory;
Looking into browsers defamatory,
Inserting memory cards accusatory,
Unsafe browsing was dormitory
Hacking my info was depository
And to stop this, there was no jury;
At this juncture came this Hoary.
Quick Heal is the best category;
Quick Heal removed PC’s quarry
And made my PC safest Glory;
All ill things made eliminatory.
Among all it is the best Allegory
And is really a judgement priori.

I Am Your Heir

I am your heir
Wikus
20/09/2015

I can not help to shed a tear
When You in spirit come so near
For what you've done there at the cross
I can never repay, for I was lost

When you were hung on the tree of shame
Amongst those I was, who was to blame
And when you looked at those aroundm
I heard my name above accusatory sound

You paid the price so very high
Your love for me I can't deny
Thank you for calling me your heir
For now I know You really care.

Hope Should Not Spring Eternal

They held an election and
nobody voted
Politicians complained they
were grossly misquoted
Atlas shrugged
The world unplugged
Slipped violently way out of
kilter.
Tea cups tipped
Newscasters quipped
Walk don't run but please get
to the shelter.

Strategists tasked to come up
with a plan
Went back to the time when
the country began
Senators grumbled
Sarcastic mumbles
Accusatory fingers were
pointed
Who's to blame
What a shame
Blame the system, its alright
we're disjointed.

But another campaign will be
meticulously planned
Based in part on the sweat of
the poor working man
Campaign promise
Faith jaundiced
A silent prayer for a magical
elixir
Tradition rules
A ship of fools
Looks like spoils still belong to
the victor.
