wispy lavender swaying in the breeze
tangled in the garden gate

I desire the great things of the world. But pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth cloud my vision of the future and distract me from what matters most. The seven deadly sins are based upon being self-serving. But is it a sin if they serve your peers and children of God?

Battle not for red and blue
They’re both the same machine
The real choice that’s coming up
Is orange versus green
Bitcoin holds your value well
Come join the Bitcoin scene
Skip inflation’s stealthy theft
Choose orange versus green
From Iceland to Australia
And countries in between
People are awakening
To orange versus green
Money made by central banks
With printing that’s obscene
You can pick another way
Choose orange versus green
Break free from your assumptions
And question your routine
For everyone can benefit
From orange over green
Money that is only made
When banksters do convene
Is money that is broken
Choose orange over green

‘Tis that time of year again
To see the world through older eyes,
To think about way back when,
To a smaller gut and thinner thighs.
When you could sleep through the night
Without having to get up and pee.
When you would wake at first light,
Instead of sleeping in until three.
In spite of all of these things,
Your family and friends still hold you dear.
It’s amazing what life brings.
After all, it’s your sixty-sixth year.

A an and an a
both besotted beguiled
care careened carelessly
devilish d doted dangerously
envy exploded evil evolved
for fate faked future fates featuring fatalities
gradually giggles gone
Happiness halted hope honestly harmed
I ill imagine images imaginary
just judge jest jump justify
Kick knee kill keep
labouring lets laugh less lastly

Me Mother tucked me in, when I was small,
And made the nighttime monsters run away,
And kissed my cheek, still, when I’d grown up tall,
And broke me down when I had gone astray.
She gave her love through music, art and books
And loved Truth, only, more than us, I think!
She taught us to be humble, by her looks
Of disapproval, when we left a chink
Of falsehood in the walls of Truth we built.
My memory counts but three lies that I told,
And these, I still stain with a smear of guilt.
But she forgave me, once she had grown old.
I made my way, because my mother had,
Because I went forth in Truth’s Armor clad.

53 years 2019
This year I added one more core
another ailment one year more
with other problems to abide
there’s nothing that I cannot hide
except to say I’m still alive
to listen to my dear wife chime
of my complaining all the time
surpassing this it’s time to say
again it’s time to seize the day

To My Lodestar
On
Anniversary 53
By: Miracle Man
8/27/2018
Today we celebrated anniversary number fifty-three,
Ernestine thought at the start she’d soon change me.
Now she says the excitement has been too hard to bear,
Like “Eating mashed potato sandwiches”, while pulling hair.
She didn’t know that in Webster’s unabridged you’d see,
Beside the word pugnacious, there was a picture of me.
Now I know, “A house divided against itself, cannot stand,”
But with two careers, we’ve enjoyed, “The fat of the land.”
“We’ve fought the good fight” and continue together,
We’ve had many sunny days and some stormy weather.
And now as we approach the end of life’s course,
We still plow our field, as a team, not a single horse.
With all our shortcomings we’ve both done our best,
God has blessed our lives as we’ve faced each test.
We are surely well thought of by all of our peeps,
If “A person is known by the company he keeps.”
Dedicated to my Lodestar

This is the servant of the Lord God
with no attraction to make an appeal
He suffered, was rejected and despised
full of sorrows this man wasn't the real deal
He was crushed for all our iniquities
every one of them did He truly atone
pierced for our transgressions was He
punished for our peace He left all alone
The iniquities of us all He took on Himself
for He kept quiet led as a slaughtered lamb
never opened His mouth not even once
His father's will to do nailed His palm
This servant will indeed justify many
after suffering as our sin offering
He will see lifes light of satisfaction
then make intercession for His own ring
This picture paints of Jesus the saviour
who died as the paschal lamb for sin
His very own elect people died He for
our iniquities He took so we could enter in

Blessings to you
Live well fine hues
Etch happy dues
Sense how joy lights
Sweet happy sights
Indulge thoughts bright
Never give up
Gain your full cup
Sip your fond gulp
Feel wealth that comes
Opt lavish hum
Reap your grand sums
See what you see
Inch by inch be
More joy set free
Opt for kind heart
Now you can start
Touch with fine art
Ask to live more
Note how love spores
Health from rich core
Observe the way
Choice fits each day
Keep ample pay
Seek peace of mind
Ask that you find
New moments kind

a grassy knoll
shots rang out
left a world in fear
with a world in doubt
we watched Camelot
suddenly pass away
on the harsh streets of Dallas
53 years ago today
as the 60's arrived
newly on the scene
hello nightmare
goodbye american dream
on that fateful day
it all fell apart
shot a hole in our soul
left a hole in our heart
when on that grassy knoll
shots rang out
which left a world in fear
to a world in doubt
