No Title, Yet - 53

‘Tis that time of year again To see the world through older eyes, To think about way back when, To a smaller gut and thinner thighs. When you could sleep through the night Without having to get up and pee. When you would wake at first light, Instead of sleeping in until three. In spite of all of these things, Your family and friends still hold you dear. It’s amazing what life brings. After all, it’s your sixty-sixth year.
