You Know You'Ve Grown Old
When a dollar doesn't go as far as it used to
While two blocks seems longer than it ever has
~ You know you've grown old
When you can't quite remember people's names
Or you ask them to repeat themselves again and again
~ You know you've grown old
When the days of the week melt one into another
And the years and the decades are but a blur
~ You know you've grown old
When you can't even name all the places you've lived
Or all the companies where you've worked
~ You know you've grown old
When everyone around you is moving too fast for no reason
And it takes forever to get downstairs in the morning
~ You know you've grown old
When you forget what you're talking about right in the mid ---
~ You know
-- Or maybe you don't
