You Complete Me
My eyes look for you
My heart bleeds the truth
My spirit enters your soul completely
I now follow your elusive footprints
To embrace you with my love solely
I’m a void, an empty horizon in wasteland
Give me the shining sun of your adoration
Make me the colored dawn sky
In the scorched life of deprivation
I’m desiccated, a dry lake in desert
Give me the soothing rains of your fondness
Make me an adored sparkling oasis
In the labyrinthine valley of passion
I’m lost, an abandoned channel carved on rock
Give me the torrent of your fervor
Make me a cascading river
In winter’s bare garden of desire
I’m alone, a rose bud between withered leaves
Give me the spring of your warmth
Make me a blooming flower
By doing the above
Reaching up
You complete me
