Yoga

my physical body......yearn...... my mental being......reach...... my spiritual energy.....pull...... within my sanctuary of mind, body and soul I center in a calming request of spirit awakening with scattered energies tossed along the ebbing shore line I must focus...... I must touch ailment...... I must harness thy yoke of completion my breath slows in silent acceptance as a single sun beam calls of gracious salutations my spirit drift endless of cresent moon at twilights eve. and warriors song in mornings mist as warmth showers my flesh my spirit tingle complete touching a loving convergence, the ultimate purity received I become one as the spirit calls with each breath, completion...... ___________________________

Rick, you captured the essence of yoga here so well. It really is more than an "exercise" program. Finding that unity of the mind, body and spirit is the true goal. Outstanding poem for Tahera's contest. Sending winning wishes your way! Love, Carolyn
