Yearning
Silence leaves a message inside my heart
Love, a soft glow to our eternal flame
Faith rendered keeps love burning while apart
The longing voice always whispers your name
The kiss I remember will hold me captive
The memory of your touch comforts me
A world of distance each night I relive
And grow dreamer's wings to set my soul free
As I soar through the shadows, I will smile
Dreaming of you bathed warmly in jeweled light
I will hold your vision close for awhile
To calm my restless soul, to say goodnight
Oh, to be a traveler who crosses space
And find you longing with a sweet embrace
