Writing a Poem
Visual # 3
So much to learn, so much I don’t know
Thoughts tumble about in my head
Not having much luck putting them down
Perhaps I’ll try to write a poem instead..
I love the ones my mother reads to me
Although many I don’t quite understand
I want to write one like The Jabberwocky
Silly and wonderful and yet oh so grand
So here I sit in the window, looking out
And dream until the right words come to light
Perhaps one day someone will remember
A small boy and the poem I shall write
