Within Me

Beneath the facade of smiles so bright, A world of struggles, hidden from sight. Through storms and battles, I persevere, A warrior's strength, in me, is clear. Each day, I rise, with courage anew, Facing the challenges, both old and new. Though overwhelmed, I won't be defeated, In my heart, resilience is deeply seated. So remember, my friend, appearances deceive, Strength and resilience, I quietly achieve. Behind the smiles, a warrior stands tall, Conquering the worst, embracing it all.

Wonderful poem, Cherish. As other comments have mentioned, it has a very nice flow to it. It's a very real portrayal of internal pain that we often never display on the surface.
